Abstract

Along with the advancement of information and communication technology, particularly internet and web technologies, STMIK Bandung has implemented an Information System for New Student Admissions (PMB). Although this system has provided various benefits, the lack of separation between the Front-End and Back-End code structures in the current PMB application has led to limitations in scalability and performance optimization. When traffic increases, it becomes difficult to scale the Back-End infrastructure without affecting Front-End performance. As a solution, the development of a PMB system based on the Single Page Application (SPA) architecture is proposed. SPA enables a website to load only the necessary components based on user interactions instead of reloading the entire page, significantly improving speed and responsiveness. The software development methodology used in this project is Agile. By implementing SPA, STMIK Bandung can optimize user experience, enhance system stability, and simplify the software development and maintenance process. The research results show that the implementation of SPA not only modernizes the PMB system but also increases efficiency and convenience for users.

Abstract

This Internet users are experiencing rapid growth. An important role in the activities and business processes of an organization is supported by Information Technology (IT), namely through the internet. The website is one of the uses of the internet. This research was conducted on the website of the End of Semester Examination Information System (SIUAS) at the Indonesian College of Technology Tanjungpinang. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of the SIUAS website where previously no analysis and measurement had been carried out in assessing the quality of the SIUAS website. The methods used in this study are the Webqual 4.0 method and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The number of respondents was 89 SIUAS users including lecturers and students for the 2018-2021 academic year. The variables used in this study derived from the Webqual 4.0 method are Usability, Information Quality, and Service Interaction Quality on the SIUAS website with 22 attribute items. The results obtained from the website quality analysis have a suitability level of 93.7% which respondents feel is still not in line with expectations. The gap level is obtained on average -0.26 where the results of website performance have not matched the expectations of users. The results of the quadrant analysis on tatribut which are the top priority obtained 2 attributes, namely the KI6 SIUAS Website provides information with the right level of detail and the KL2 SIUAS Website provides a sense of security when conducting the exam.

Abstract

The decline in the quality and maintenance of trees in urban areas, especially along roadsides, can pose risks such as tree falls and environmental damage. In Tanjungpinang City, there is no fast and integrated reporting channel to address these issues. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system that enables the public to easily report tree conditions while increasing public participation in environmental conservation. The research methods include field observations, interviews with the Tanjungpinang City Perkim Office, literature review, and software development using the Agile method through planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and review stages. The results show that the developed web-based complaint system facilitates real-time reporting, increases transparency in handling, and speeds up follow-up processes compared to manual methods. The system is expected to be further enhanced with real-time report status monitoring features for greater effectiveness.

Abstract

The report card processing system at PAUD Zamaitul Manan is still carried out manually using handwriting, which requires a long time and has thepotential to cause errors in recording. This study aims to develop a web-based PAUD report card processing information system using the NaïveBayes method to classify and describe student development. The system development method uses the Waterfall model with analysis, design,implementation, and testing stages. The Naïve Bayes method is used to classify children's development achievements into four categories: Not YetDeveloped (BB), Starting to Develop (MB), Developing as Expected (BSH), and Very Well Developed (BSB). The system is built using PHP as aprogramming language, MySQL as a database management system, and the CodeIgniter framework. Test results using the Black Box methodshow that all system functions work well. The system successfully speeds up the value processing process, increases recording accuracy, andprovides automatic descriptions of child development based on Naïve Bayes classification results.

Abstract

Used cooking oil, or waste cooking oil, is often discarded and becomes waste that can harm the environment if not properly managed. Currently, its collection and management are still manual and inefficient, leading to issues such as supply imbalances and reporting delays. This research aims to develop an application that facilitates the exchange and storage of waste cooking oil between residents and collectors, addressing the challenges of manual processes and reducing environmental impact. Using an object-oriented approach (OOP) and the prototype method, this study involves data collection, software development, and evaluation of the impact of improved management on the quality of processed oil and the sustainability of the waste oil processing industry. The outcome is expected to provide an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for waste cooking oil management and also can simplify the process of collecting used cooking oil, accelerate automatic recording of exchange transactions, and improve the efficiency and regularity of data management. Therefore, this application can be an effective and environmentally friendly digital solution to support sustainable used cooking oil management.

Abstract

SMPIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang City, as a continuation of Elementary School (SD) is a school that combines Islamic values in the curriculum by applying an effective learning approach. The implementation of education within an institution will affect the number of students interested in studying there. Prediction of the number of prospective new students at SMPIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang City is one of the most important things in decision-making. After doing the research, it was found that at SMPIT As-Sakinah, Tanjungpinang City, no prediction was made on the number of prospective new students. From these problems, the author aims to build a website-based system to predict the number of prospective new students by comparing the Single and Double Exponential Smoothing methods, integrated with the database, to determine the most suitable method for prediction. In designing this system we used the Waterfall method and using the PHP programming language and the database using MySQL. After doing research using a comparison between the two methods produces the same results after the predicted values are rounded up. The difference between the two methods lies in the calculation; for the Single Exponential Smoothing method, smoothing is calculated only once and the Double Exponential Smoothing method is smoothed twice.

Abstract

The utilization of facial images as biometric identity in integrated digital systems continues to increase and requires security mechanisms that do not solely depend on metadata or application databases. Metadata is non-persistent and vulnerable to deletion or modification, while databases may experience loss or long-term unavailability. This paper proposes a conceptual framework in which image watermarking functions as a persistent biometric identity layer embedded directly within the facial image signal. The proposed architecture consists of the Application Layer, Image Processing & Watermark Layer, Storage Layer, and Verification & Audit Layer. This approach is designed to preserve biometric identity integrity, support auditing, and enable cross-system interoperability. As an implementation illustration, the framework is proposed for the Menara Masjid and Microfinance Masjid application ecosystem, which utilizes facial images as users’ digital identity. The design results indicate that image watermarking can serve as an internal identity independent of metadata and databases, while strengthening biometric governance and supporting traceability as well as mitigation of facial image misuse within an integrated digital application ecosystem

Abstract

SDN Girisari is one of the schools that has not yet implemented Android-based numeracy literacy. The learning process at SDN Girisari still uses conventional media such as whiteboards and textbooks. This makes SDN Girisari students feel unfocused and bored with such a learning system. The students' unpreparedness when receiving lessons in the classroom often causes them to not understand the material that has been delivered by the teacher in the classroom. In addition, the media used when explaining the material and the long duration of the teaching and learning process also become obstacles in the learning process. Therefore, a technology-based learning medium is needed that is relevant to the needs of students, easily accessible, and can support the learning process both inside and outside classroom learning activities. With Android-based technology, learning will not be monotonous with just text, but can create audio or visual elements, even animations to make it easier for students to understand the material. Learning using smartphones becomes a unique way because it can be done anywhere and anytime. The design of an animated system application that can help students increase their enthusiasm for learning. Because besides learning, students can also play so that later students will not be bored with the material given by the teacher. This application can later be developed by teachers for their students while introducing applications that can educate students so that students can use them at school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze mathematical approaches used in Decision Support Systems (DSS) through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. A total of 41 scientific articles published between 2021 and 2026 were selected based on predefined inclusion criteria. The SLR process was conducted through several stages, including research question formulation, literature search, study selection, data extraction, and synthesis of findings. The results indicate that mathematical approaches in DSS can be classified into four main categories: Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), probabilistic, optimization, and hybrid approaches. Based on the distribution of articles, hybrid approaches are the most dominant with 19 articles, followed by MCDM with 10 articles, probabilistic with 7 articles, and optimization with 5 articles. The dominance of hybrid approaches reflects a paradigm shift from single-method usage toward the integration of multiple mathematical approaches to enhance system flexibility and accuracy. MCDM approaches remain widely used in structured multi-criteria problems, while probabilistic approaches play an important role in handling uncertainty and dynamic systems. Meanwhile, optimization approaches are applied to determine optimal solutions based on objective functions and constraints. This study contributes to systematically mapping and classifying mathematical approaches in DSS, as well as identifying research trends and future directions. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing more adaptive and integrated decision support systems.

Abstract

Evaluasi UI/UX terhadap laman Neraca Ilmu di SMKN 4 Tanjungpinang. Penelitian menggunakan metode campuran, yaitu kuesioner User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) dan wawancara, dengan melibatkan 92 responden (siswa dan guru). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara fungsional, laman ini cukup andal dengan skor kualitas pragmatis positif (0,41), tetapi gagal memberikan pengalaman yang menarik dan inovatif, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh skor kualitas hedonis yang negatif (-0,26). Temuan paling krusial adalah bahwa seluruh dimensi evaluasi, termasuk yang memiliki skor positif, dikategorikan sebagai "Buruk" saat dibandingkan dengan tolok ukur UEQ. Sebagai rekomendasi, laporan ini menyajikan sebuah prototype desain ulang menggunakan Figma yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik, fungsionalitas, dan unsur kebaruan guna memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih optimal.
