Abstract

The increasing environmental issues demand environmental literacy among the younger generation. 21st-century learning with PjBL-based worksheet can make the learning process more interactive, contextual, and focused on solving real-world problems. This research aims to:(1) produce an E-worksheet with the PjBL model on environmental pollution that is feasible as a learning model for 10th grade high school; (2) produce an E-worksheet with the PjBL model on environmental pollution that is practically for biological teachers and 10th grade high school; (3) produce an E-worksheet with the PjBL model on environmental pollution that is effective in improving environmental literacy for 10th grade high school. This research uses the R&D mode, specifically the 4D model. The research instruments included interview sheets, practitioner assessment questionnaires, material and media validation sheets, and multiple-choice and descriptive test sheets. Based on the data obtained: (1) The E-worksheet with the PjBL model on the topic of environmental pollution is valid according to material and media experts, scoring in the "very good" category; (2) The E-worksheet is practical based on teacher assessment and student responses with scores included in the “very good” category ; (3) The research results indicate that the N-gain for cognitive domain environmental literacy is (<g> = 0.43) and for the affective domain is (<g> = 0.63), which are categorized as moderate. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Electronic Worksheets (E-worksheet) with the PjBL model is feasible and practical and can enhance the environmental literacy of class X SMA students.

Abstract

In social studies learning, the challenges faced are not only related to real-life problems such as the environment and society, but also the demands to develop high-level thinking skills, such as critical, reflective, and creative. This study aims to develop RPG game learning media based on differentiated learning by combining animated videos and documentary videos in the media. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The development research was carried out at SMP Negeri 24 Malang. After that, the LUIS TOUR media was refined and then tested again with a trial on 24 grade VIII students. The validity and practicality tests of this method were carried out in the context of social studies learning, with the results showing an increase in aspects of independence, cooperation, critical thinking skills, and student questioning skills. The results of expert validation and readability tests show that the LUIS TOUR media is very feasible. In addition to the validation results, a practicality test was also carried out by students with a score of 86% each. This study contributes to the integration of technology in 21st century learning, especially in developing learning media that are relevant to the challenges of the 5.0 society era.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that many teachers have not been optimal in using innovative digital technology-based learning media. This causes low learning outcomes for grade IV students in the Semarang Denok dance material. This study aims to develop learning media designs, test the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of digital pop-up book media in fourth grade at Ngaliyan 01 Elementary School, Semarang. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) research with the ADDIE model using five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The techniques used in data collection are tests and non-tests (material expert and media expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaire sheets, student responses, interviews, and documentation. Validation from material experts). The results of the study showed that (1) digital media was developed using the Canva, Power-point, and Cap-cut applications with book cover components, book pages containing material and videos, and book covers; (2) the feasibility of media expert products was 95%, material experts 97.5%, student responses 87.5% and teacher responses 95% with very feasible criteria; (3) effectiveness is seen from the increase in learning outcomes of 19.4949 and Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 which shows that there is a significant difference in students before and after using digital media. The N-Gain test obtained was 0.6369 which shows moderate criteria. The conclusion of this study states that the digital pop-up book media has been successfully developed, is feasible, and is effective in learning dance arts on the Denok Semarang Dance material.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the Visible Thinking Routine (VTR) in Nurul Fikri Islamic School as an approach to training students' thinking skills. Using the survey research methodology, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the science teacher population, and document analysis. The study's results stated that the use of VTR has a varied pattern, with a reasonably high adoption rate in Islamic Elementary School (IES) and Islamic High School (IHS) in certain months. At the same time, Islamic Middle School (IMS) recorded lower and consistent usage; IES was more active in implementing VTR in the last months, while IHS tended to be consistent throughout the month in this study. However, a significant issue in its implementation is the teacher's paradigm, which views the primary focus of learning as completing the subject matter, limiting the broader application of VTR as a tool for developing critical thinking skills. In addition, the biggest obstacle in implementation is the teacher's paradigm, which views the main focus of learning as completing the subject matter. VTR has a strategic role in training thinking skills and has yet to become the main focus of the learning process. This study recommends strengthening teacher training programs and integrating VTR into learning planning to improve teaching effectiveness in Islamic schools.
