Abstract

This article delves into the pivotal role of Human-Centered Design (HCD) in logo development, specifically tailored for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) situated in Pematang Serai Village. Recognizing the essence of building a robust brand image, the study explores how HCD principles influence the entire process of logo design, from conceptualization to implementation. The exploration begins by emphasizing the iterative and user-centric nature of HCD, which ensures continuous refinement of logos based on user feedback. Visual elements are dissected for their impact on audience perception, acknowledging logos as significant visual cues influencing consumer behavior. Cultural considerations take center stage as the study draws insights from cross-national logo evaluation analysis, emphasizing the need to tailor logos to specific cultural contexts. This is particularly relevant for SMEs in Pematang Serai Village, ensuring resonance with the local community. The article concludes by offering actionable recommendations for SMEs, advocating for a continued user-centric approach, emphasis on visual appeal, cultural sensitivity, iterative refinement, and strategic logo implementation. It underscores the importance of these principles in creating logos that not only visually captivate but also emotionally connect with the target audience, thereby contributing to sustained business success

Abstract

This research aims to implement a web-based information system using QR-codes in warehouse inventory management using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The implementation of QR-code technology is expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in the process of tracking and managing goods in warehouses. The RAD method was chosen because of its ability to speed up the system development process through rapid iteration and prototyping. The results of this implementation show significant improvements in warehouse operational efficiency as well as reduced human error in inventory recording and tracking. With a web-based information system, users can easily access and manage inventory data in real-time, increasing transparency and accuracy of information

Abstract

Tapak Suci Putera Muhammadiyah has become one of the original martial arts schools in Indonesia that has become global. On the other hand, the globalization of information and communication is developing so rapidly that it is not supported by the optimal use of technology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the optimal triggers for the use of information technology for the development of the Tapak Suci Putera Muhammadiyah organization. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The analysis method using ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) will form an information database. This research results that the information system on the official website to build the secretariat and membership of Tapak Suci by using the database resulting from the transformation of the E-R diagram will be faster, easier, and expected in accordance with the needs and expectations of users in getting clearer information

Abstract

Blockchain is an advanced mechanism that allows transparent information for a business network. Normally databases in this technology are stored in blocks that are linked together in a chain. It is used as a facilitator for the process of recording transactions and tracking assets of a business network. It will help share data for a collective group. With blockchain, cloud service and transactional data from multiple sources can be easily collected, integrated, and shared. This technology concerning India presently is used by government banking institutions as well as the government storing and sharing data for a wider group. Blockchain is popular in finance, especially money and time. Recently India has made efforts to become a society with digitalized setup by building a large citizen-scale digital public infrastructure, which is a positive push for the government. The basic motive for introducing a high ended technology like blockchain is for maintaining transparency, and to increase the speed of interactions with individuals. This paper has made attempted to study the mechanism adopted by the Indian government under a blockchain and how well it has been utilized. It has also attempted to give a clear picture, of what all developments have made with blockchain and what sectors are much concentrated with blockchain

Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing Hanoi high school students' decisions to choose a university for studying Information Technology (IT) amidst the rapidly growing IT industry, especially following the 4.0 industrial revolution. The study employs quantitative methods, analyzing a sample of 241 students currently enrolled in IT programs across Hanoi. Key findings reveal that factors such as tuition fees, family recommendations, alumni influence, and university reputation significantly impact students' intentions and decisions. Interestingly, while university reputation positively influences students' intentions, it does not necessarily lead to their final decision to enroll. In contrast, financial considerations and advice from trusted sources play a more pivotal role. Additionally, the study finds that gender and admission scores do not significantly affect the decisionmaking process for these students. The results offer practical insights for universities to refine their recruitment and marketing strategies, ensuring they align with the real-world factors that influence student choice. By understanding these dynamics, universities can better attract and retain students in IT programs, thereby meeting the growing demands of the IT sector

Abstract

In the era of the digital world, where the development of technology in the visual field is currently very rapid, there are more and more ways to present information to the public. This is because the form of the delivery process is easy to understand to find or display information in the digital world. One of the most effective media in today's digital era is film, so a simpler and more effective means of socialization is needed, namely making documentary films. Pampang Cultural Village, one of the tourist and cultural areas of the Dayak tribe in Samarinda, East Borneo, Indonesia. A village with aesthetic educational value, especially related to history, traditions and cultural values of the ancestors which are still well preserved. In order to make this documentary film more interesting to watch and the audience can feel the meaning contained in this film, this film uses Cinematic Techniques by applying color grading. There are several techniques that can be considered in documentary films, namely content data in the form of audiovisual media, production processes including scenario writing, editing processes and directing techniques. With this documentary, it is hoped that local and foreign communities will know that there are educational and aesthetic tourist attractions about the customs and culture of the island of Borneo. This research will present the results of Cinematic Technique Analysis in the Implementation of Color Grading

Abstract

Tidal floods in the Semidang Alas Maras coast often occur and disrupt community activities. The height and area affected by tidal flood run-up is not the same every time. This research are to identify the factors that influence tidal floods and determine the effect of seasonal changes on tidal flooding run-up along Semidang Alas Maras coast by utilising measurement technology using drones. The method in this research is direct measurements of tides, visual photos topographic using drones, and also secondary data including tidal data from TMD model, rainfall, and wind data during tidal flooding. Based on the results of the study, it was found that tidal flooding run-up along Semidang Alas Maras coast was influenced by tides, high rainfall and wind. The mixed tide type of Semidang Alas Maras is Mixed Tide Prevailing Semidiurnal with a Formzhal number of 0.76. The area affected by the tidal flood run-up for the criteria of no danger and less danger every season is the same. Meanwhile, the criteria for moderately dangerous, dangerous and very dangerous vary every season. The highest area value occurring in the western season, the criteria for moderately dangerous 20% with an area of 83.06 Ha, 21% hazard with an area of 85.78 Ha, and very dangerous 23% with area of 93.95 Ha

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the stages of social penetration in women in building intimacy through the Bumble application where women are in control in starting conversations and in relationships. The method used is descriptive research with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with five informants who are active users of the Bumble online dating application. This study uses a supporting theory, namely social penetration by Altman & Taylor. Based on the results of the study, there are four stages of social penetration that are passed through by active users of the Bumble online dating application, namely orientation, affective exploration, affective exchange and stable exchange. However, not all informants can go through all stages and form new relationships (dating). This happens because in the process of the stages there is a mismatch at each stage, which causes the process of social depentration, or withdrawal. Unwanted factors and mismatches from informants cause the relationship to end, making the relationship unromantic or just friendship
