Abstract

This study discusses how the influence of Instagram social media marketing on booking intention through brand image at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. This research is motivated by the discovery of phenomena regarding Instagram social media marketing, booking intention and brand image of Harris Resort Barelang Batam. This type of research is quantitative causal associative, obtained a sample size of 182 respondents and purposive sampling procedures. The Likert scale was used to compile a questionnaire which was used as a research instrument. The data that has been collected is then analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) version 3.0. The results of hypothesis testing show that brand image is positively and significantly influenced by social media marketing with a t-statistic value (16.974) > t-table value (1.96) and a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. Booking Intention is positively and significantly influenced by social media marketing, with a t-statistic value (6.915) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05. Booking Intention is positively and significantly influenced by brand image, with a tstatistic value (7.939) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05. social media marketing has a significant effect on booking intention through brand image. with a t-statistic value (7.182) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

In 2024, the hotel room occupancy rate in Bali reached only 58.97%. This indicates that hotels must work diligently to manage their online reputation amid fierce competition. One of the best practices among hotels in Bali with a competitive online reputation and brand image is Alila Villas Uluwatu. This study aims to analyze how online reputation management through digital platforms can strengthen the brand image of Alila Villas Uluwatu. The study will explore the strategies and practices implemented by Alila Villas Uluwatu in building and maintaining their online reputation. Designed with a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, social media analytics, observation, and document analysis, the findings of this research indicate that meticulous planning, structured organization, effective execution, and systematic control have a significant impact on enhancing the brand image of Alila Villas Uluwatu. The improvement in visibility and brand image is reflected in high engagement levels, reach, and impressions on social media, as well as positive ratings on review platforms. These results confirm that the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) strategy combined with content themed around Balinese culture and luxury successfully attracts audience attention and strengthens the brand image of Alila Villas Uluwatu. This research provides valuable insights for other hotels on how to manage online reputation to enhance brand image.

Abstract

Batanghari Regency has quite a lot of tourism potential that can be developed, such as an exotic urban forest atmosphere, a lake surrounded by bushes and a cool and comfortable atmosphere, making it a special attraction for visitors. The plan to develop tourism potential in Batanghari Regency has been ongoing for a long time. However, this arrangement has only been implemented since 2021. The Batanghari Regency Government is committed to making tourism in Batanghari Regency a combination of beautiful and unique nature with local cultural wisdom to improve the economy of the community. This research describe the development of tourism potential in improving the community economy in Batanghari Regency and identify the obstacles faced. This research takes a qualitative approach. Data collecting methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained in this research were analyzed using the interactive model proposed by Miles also Huberman, This comprises data reduction, presentation, and making conclusions.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of compensation and work environment on the performance of Sales Marketing in star-rated hotels in Padang City. Using a quantitative method with a causal research design, this study involved 30 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire designed based on a Likert scale as the research instrument. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The hypothesis testing results indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on performance, with a t-statistic value (2.660) greater than the t-table (1.66) and a p-value of 0.008 less than 0.05. The work environment also has a positive and significant effect on performance, with a t-statistic value (2.975) greater than the t-table (1.66) and a p-value of 0.003 less than 0.05.

Abstract

The sales target for wedding packages at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali in 2020, 2021 and 2023 cannot be achieved. This research aims to identify a marketing mix strategy to increase sales of wedding packages at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali. This research uses qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques which will be analyzed using SWOT analysis with the 7P marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process and Physical Evidence). SWOT Matrix Analysis groups internal and external factors to produce four specific strategies, namely SO, ST, WO, and WT. In the research results, there are four marketing mix strategies in increasing sales of wedding packages at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali, namely the SO (Strength Opportunities) strategy of having a wedding venue location which is a strategy to facilitate access in holding weddings, the ST (Strength Threats) strategy of utilizing the wedding venue by promoting The beauty of each wedding location that is owned, the WO (Weakness Opportunities) strategy improves weaknesses by utilizing the potential of social media which provides information about wedding packages to companies, and the WT (Weakness Threats) strategy maximizes ecommerce to expand the reach of the target market.

Abstract

Room cleanliness is very important for a hotel. A common issue in hotels is room cleanliness, leading hotels to compete for employees who can clean rooms according to the standards set by the hotel, including time and results. The purpose of this research is to observe and analyze the performance of room attendants in preparing rooms. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection methods in this study include observation and interviews with 6 room attendants, as well as literature review and documentation. This research uses comparative analysis to compare the standard room cleaning time with the time achieved by room attendants in cleaning rooms. The average time spent by a room attendant in cleaning a room is 33.5 or 33 minutes and 5 seconds, while the standard time set by the hotel is 30 minutes. The results of this study indicate that the time achieved by room attendants in cleaning rooms does not meet the time standards set by the hotel. Room attendants must be able to manage their time so that all work can be completed on time and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Abstract

Several issues with the title serve as the impetus for this study. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of amenities and Electronic Word of Mouth (E-Wom) on the choice to visit Panorama Tabek Patah. In this study, a descriptive, quantitative research design was adopted. Primary data is the kind of data used in this study. Visitors to Panorama Tabek Patah are the study's participants. Using a non-probability sampling technique, 110 customers comprised the research sample. A Likert scale questionnaire that had undergone validity and reliability testing was used in the data collection process. SPSS 25.00 was used to process the data from this study. The facilities fall within the sufficient category, according to the research's findings. With a value of 3.21, the electronic word-of-mouth (E-WOM) variable displays the sufficient category. The facility variable, which equals 3.26, displays the sufficient category. With a value of 3.26, the visiting decision variable displays the sufficient category. Facilities and electronic word-of-mouth (E-WOM) have a 20% impact on travel decisions, while a number of other elements, including location, image/brand, price/tariff, and service, have an 80% influence.

Abstract

The influence of security on the development of maritime tourism in Indonesia cannot be separated from Changing concepts of security in international relations. Human security, including its economic, food and environmental dimensions, is crucial for the sustainability of the marine tourism sector. Threats such as poverty and human rights violations have a direct impact on this industry, which depends on social and political stability. Managing environmental security threats is essential to ensure the maritime tourism sector can thrive and benefit local communities economically. This ponder employments a subjective approach to analyze security's influence on maritime tourism development in Indonesia. The information appears a critical increment within the number of remote visitor visits. In any case, oceanic security issues, such as robbery and unlawful angling, remain significant challenges that have to be tended to so that Indonesia can draw in more visitors and venture whereas fortifying the nearby economy and coastal communities. The novelty of this study is due to the need for more literature discussing the influence of security on the development of maritime tourism in Indonesia.

Abstract

The most interesting thing in this era is tourism. Maimun Palace is one of the historical places or tours in Medan City. The objectives to be achieved in this study are 1) To find out the economic opportunities for the community in the Maimun Palace Tourism Park through Historical Tourism, 2) To find out what types of economic activities have the potential to improve the community's economy in the Maimun Palace Tourism Park, and 3) To find out the development strategy for Maimun Palace as an opportunity for the community's economy. This study uses a tourist attraction development method with a 4A approach, namely Attractions, Amenities, Accessibility, and Ancilliary. The results of the study show that Maimun Palace has the potential for historical tourism so that it can be an opportunity for the community's economy

Abstract

The Ngadas Traditional Tourism Village, which is located in the Tengger region, Malang Regency, is one of the leading tourist attractions based on indigenous communities which manages tourism by combining local wisdom values. The aim of this research is to see how indigenous communities manage Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) to support sustainable tourism. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the research show that Pokdarwis Ngadas uses an approach that prioritizes preserving local customs and culture, such as Kasada rituals, agricultural traditions, and social procedures. The management model used relies on the participation of indigenous communities in traditional organizations with the guidance of traditional leaders. As a tourism center, this village offers homestays, supports cultural tourism, and encourages ecotourism. The success of this program is supported by good cooperation between indigenous communities and Pokdarwis. However, the challenges faced include dependence on natural resources and the threat of modernization. This research concludes that indigenous community-based Pokdarwis management makes a significant contribution to creating tourism that is inclusive, sustainable and based on cultural preservation. Research recommendations include increasing the capacity of Pokdarwis members through training, human resources, application of Sapta Pesona, and local community efforts.
