Abstract

This research is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) which aims to develop teaching materials for news texts through worksheets based on high-level thinking skills for grade VIII junior high school. The development model used is the ADDIE model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. This research limits development to the development stage. From the stages that have been carried out, the results obtained are that Class VIII students at GKPI Padang Bulan Private Middle School are very interested and need LKPD products in learning. This was obtained through questionnaire data analyzing students' needs for LKPD needs based on high-level thinking skills with a 100% presentation. Through the needs analysis data, the development of LKPD was designed and validated by material experts, design experts, and teacher responses. The results of the study show that "Development of LKPD based on high-level thinking skills in news texts for class VIII" is included in the "very feasible" category. This can be seen from the results of the validation of material experts 80.7% in the "adequate" category, validation of design experts 80% in the "appropriate" category, the teacher's assessment of the field of study is 92.5% in the "very feasible" category, with a final percentage of 84.4% in the "very feasible" category. Therefore, this product is suitable for use in the educational process.

Abstract

This research aims to develop alternative instruments to assess the nationalist attitudes of learners in elementary schools. The method in this research is R&D model. The sample was chosen by purposive sampling with research subjects of high grade students in elementary school. Instruments in this study using a modified Likert Scale. The validity test used is content validity and construct validity. Content validity is measured using CVR (Content Validity Ratio) and construct validity is measured using EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis). Testing the validity of the constructs extracts the components into eight, namely (1) Prioritizing the public interest above personal interests, (2) the spirit of sacrificing, (3) Unity and unity of the nation, (4) Patriotik in maintaining and promoting the nation, (5) Respect and preserve national culture, (6) cooperate, (7) tolerance, and (8) peace love). Test Reliability using Alpha Cronbach with good category. The nationalist attitude assessment instrument is feasible to use and can be developed by the teacher according to the specified grid.

Abstract

The research method used in this research is the experimental method. This method is used based on the consideration that the nature of experimental research is trying something to find out the influence or consequences of a treatment or treatment. Apart from that, the author wants to know the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable that is quoted or observed regarding this experimental method, because in this research we are looking for a cause-and-effect relationship from training using videobreaking to improving rowing skills. By conducting experiments on variables that allow you to get results. This is explained by Lutan, Berliana and Sunaryadi (2007: 146) that: "Experiment is a type of research that directly aims to influence the main variable, and a type of research that can truly test the hypothesis of a causal relationship." Meanwhile, Arikunto (2006:3) argues that: "Experiment is a way to look for cause and effect (causal relationship) between two factors that are deliberately caused by the researcher by eliminating or reducing or setting aside disturbing factors."

Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' attitudes toward learning English at the intermediate level in SMK Negeri 1 Bangli, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative research method, data were gathered through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation from students of class XI MP 1. Data analysis was conducted by applying the content analysis method. The research findings indicate that the majority of students exhibit negative attitudes in cognitive, affective, and conative aspects, characterized by a lack of confidence and interest in learning English. DespiteLuh teachers taking steps to enhance student engagement, such as using varied teaching methods and instructional media, challenges persist regarding student motivation and self-confidence. The implications of this research provide a foundation for developing more effective learning strategies to improve students' attitudes toward learning English at SMK Negeri 1 Bangli.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to understand the variations in teaching styles among English teachers at the high school level, particularly at SMK N 1 Bangli, with a focus on classical, technological, personalized, and interactional dimensions. The objective of the study is to identify and analyze the teaching styles applied by 11th-grade English teachers and evaluate their impact on the learning process. Through direct observation and curriculum document analysis, the findings reveal a diversity of teaching styles, including the use of a combination of classical, technological, and personalized styles. Technological facility constraints remain a challenge, but teachers still play a key role in guiding learning. Personalized teaching styles show efforts to address individual student needs, while interactional teaching styles enhance active student participation. The implications of this research include the need for more attention to the development of learning technology facilities and strengthening the implementation of personalized teaching styles to improve the quality of high school learning. These findings provide valuable insights for educational policy development and teacher professional development, with a focus on enhancing the quality and relevance of learning in the secondary education environment.

Abstract

This study investigates the challenges faced by vocational high school students in learning English, focusing on Class XI Computer and Network Engineering in SMK Negeri 1 Bangli. Drawing on the insights of education and linguistic experts, the research identifies key factors such as non-native English status, motivation issues, and limited vocabulary mastery that contribute to the difficulties encountered by students. Findings from interviews, questionnaires, observations, and academic performance analysis highlight the need for tailored teaching approaches, relevant materials, and motivational strategies to enhance English language learning. The study emphasizes the importance of active student engagement and ongoing evaluation of teaching methods, aiming to create a supportive learning environment and improve overall learning outcomes in English for vocational high school students.

Abstract

This research examines the challenges faced in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum within the context of Class XI BD at SMK N 1 Bangli. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study engages teachers and students as subjects, employing observation, interviews, and document analysis for data collection. The findings underscore the presence of diverse student characteristics, facility limitations, and a primary emphasis on the development of soft skills as major obstacles. Despite teachers' creative efforts in adopting innovative teaching methodologies, the passive response from students necessitates modifications to lesson plans. Recommendations include facility enhancements, teacher training initiatives, personalized strategies for cultivating soft skills, and vital support from educational institutions and parents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Gross Domestic Income, Exchange Rate, and Foreign Investment on foreign debt in Indonesia for the period 1990-2022. This study uses quantitative data. This study uses multiple linear regression statistical tests with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach. From the results of the determination test, it can be seen that the R-squared value of 0.914054 indicates that the X1, X2 and X3 variables (GDP, KURS and FDI) simultaneously influence the Foreign Debt (Y) variable by 91.40%, and the remaining 8.60% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This research was conducted against the background of the many cases of promiscuity that are happening nowadays, especially in schools in the Subang area. This is proven according to KPAI records, the type of sexual violence committed by children is the highest among other cases, there were 161 cases in 2018, 183 cases in 2019 and 44 cases in 2020. This study aims to determine the relationship between activities religious routines and sex education on promiscuity among students at SMP Negeri 1 Jalancagak. The type of research used by researchers is correlational quantitative research. The data in this study were taken using a questionnaire. The sample used was class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Jalancagak with a total of 35 students. The results showed that religious routine activities had a relationship to promiscuity from the results of the t-test t count 2.149 > t table 2.037 and a significance value of 0.003 <0.05 so the hypothesis was accepted, while for sex education there was no relationship to promiscuity with the results of the test- t value t count 0.102 < t table 2.037, and a significance value of 0.919 > 0.05, so the hypothesis is rejected. And based on the results of the f test that religious routine activities and sex education have a relationship to promiscuity with an F count of 4.415 greater than F table which is 3.28 and a significance value of 0.002 <0.05, so the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the findings of socio-economic disparities in the novel Hari Terakhir di Rumah Bordil. This research aims to reveal disparities as a result of analysis using a literary sociology approach. The type of research used is descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques are reading, writing, listening, processing and data techniques. The research subject is the novel 'Last Day in a Brothel' with the research object of social disparities. The results of the research are based on analysis of the data obtained, namely the discovery of social events with negative labeling, society's bad insults towards female prostitutes, and the impasse of working honorably due to elementary school (SD) graduate education as well as economic inequality that means a person has social control over himself and others. is the value of the money owned.
