Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the discipline education program on the involvement of the congregation in worship fellowship at GKSI Nanga Lungu, Kayan Hilir District, Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan. The approach used is qualitative with the method of library research and direct observation of congregation activities. The results of the study show that discipline education programs make a significant contribution to increasing congregational attendance in worship, active participation in prayer, singing, and service, as well as the formation of discipline character in daily life. In addition, this program helps strengthen social interaction between congregations, build closer spiritual bonds, and encourage involvement in various church activities. The main challenges faced include the busyness of the congregation and the distance of residence from the church, but can be overcome through adaptive strategies such as pastoral mentoring, flexible scheduling, and periodic evaluations of program effectiveness. These findings show that discipline education is an effective and relevant strategy in improving the quality of worship fellowship and the spiritual life of the congregation. This study recommends strengthening similar programs in other church settings as a sustainable and contextual spiritual development effort.

Abstract

Food labeling that complies with regulatory requirements plays an important role in increasing consumer trust, expanding market access, and enhancing the selling value of MSME products. This community service activity aims to disseminate information on the regulations governing processed and fresh food labeling, as well as to facilitate understanding of packaging particularly labeling among MSME actors, specifically women fisher groups in Bintaro Subdistrict, Ampenan District, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara. This area is characterized by high urban population density and dynamic MSME-based economic activities, making the implementation of proper labeling practices highly necessary. The program consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation, conducted on June 2, 2025, from 08:30 to 12:00 WITA in Bintaro Subdistrict. The results of this activity showed an improvement in MSME actors’ understanding of the mandatory elements in food labels when designing fish-based processed product labels in accordance with BPOM regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and legality standards based on applicable Indonesian laws.

Abstract

Mental health problems, particularly anxiety disorders, are increasingly prevalent among adolescents and have become a significant concern for the church as a spiritual community. This study aims to analyze the role of God’s servants in preventing and addressing anxiety disorders among adolescents at GKSI Maranatha Anugrah Sewan, Tangerang. The research employs a qualitative method through direct observation of youth ministry activities and informal interviews with participants. The findings reveal that church ministers play a strategic role in enhancing adolescents’ mental well-being through practical biblical teaching, empathetic pastoral counseling, and the establishment of prayer and openness communities. The application of Scripture Therapy, devotional counseling, and Healing Prayer Circles has proven effective in reducing anxiety levels, strengthening spiritual security, and fostering healthy social relationships. A holistic and collaborative pastoral approach involving professional support is essential for the church to create a safe environment that promotes recovery and spiritual growth among youth

Abstract

Household waste management remains a key environmental issue in Indonesia, including in Purwosari Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency. The increasing waste volume without proper handling may cause pollution and health problems. Through the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) Asy-Syifa, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, an education and training program on processing household waste into compost and leachate was carried out to empower the community in sustainable waste management. The activity applied an educational and participatory approach involving housewives through counseling, practice, and interactive discussions. Its effectiveness was evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments. Results showed a significant improvement in knowledge and skills, with the average score rising from 80 to 92.88, indicating positive behavioral change toward environmental awareness. Participants also began applying the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R) in daily life. This program contributed to enhancing environmental awareness and reducing household waste volume.
