Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the branding of local food products through the utilization of chatbot technology and the application of the green economy concept at Sukapulang Agrotourism in Ciamis Regency. The partner faced challenges, including limited digital marketing strategies and insufficient understanding of the importance of a green economy in managing local food businesses. To address these issues, participants were introduced to the use of chatbots as an interactive web-based tool to improve promotion and customer service efficiency, alongside the implementation of green economy principles to enhance business sustainability.The program employed several methods, including educational outreach, hands-on practice in operating simple chatbots, and group discussions on sustainable branding strategies. Participants were guided to design practical applications of chatbot features for marketing and consumer interaction, while simultaneously exploring ways to integrate environmentally friendly practices into daily business operations. The training also emphasized strategies for reducing waste, optimizing resource use, and enhancing local product value through eco-conscious initiatives. Results indicate that participants experienced significant improvements in both knowledge and skills, particularly in combining digital technology with environmentally friendly business practices. They gained practical insights into how technological innovation can support marketing efforts, while green economy principles encourage long-term sustainability. This integration of digital tools and eco-friendly practices is expected to increase the competitiveness of local food products and strengthen Sukapulang Agrotourism’s position as a creative economy hub. Ultimately, the program demonstrates that community-based interventions leveraging digital innovation and environmental awareness can foster sustainable economic growth, enhance local entrepreneurship, and promote a more resilient and environmentally responsible business ecosystem.

Abstract

The community service activity conducted in Pejengkolan Village, Kebumen Regency, was part of the 2025 Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) organized by Universitas Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama (UMNU) Kebumen. This program focused on both environmental conservation and community empowerment through socialization and the planting of longan (kelengkeng) trees. The stages of the activity included awareness sessions for the villagers about the ecological and economic benefits of longan trees, proper planting techniques, and effective maintenance strategies to ensure productive growth. In addition, a direct planting activity was carried out collaboratively, involving KKN students, local authorities, and community members. The active participation of the villagers, demonstrated through their enthusiasm in both the socialization and the practical planting sessions, indicated a strong commitment to the program’s sustainability. Through this initiative, the community not only gained new knowledge about longan cultivation but also developed motivation to harness their village’s potential in an environmentally sustainable way. The continuity of longan tree maintenance is expected to generate long-term benefits, providing ecological advantages while also offering economic opportunities for the people of Pejengkolan Village.

Abstract

Community service is an integral part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education that must be carried out by university students. The 2025 KKN UINSU Desa Celawan program at SMKN 1 Pantai Cermin was designed to make a real contribution through the development of financial literacy based on the introduction of the capital market. This program was motivated by the low level of financial management and investment understanding among vocational school students. Therefore, the students organized a socialization and education program in collaboration with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) North Sumatra Representative and the Islamic Capital Market Study Group (KSPMS) Golden UINSU. The implementation method consisted of several stages: permission submission, site observation, proposal preparation, socialization activities, and evaluation through discussion and Q&A sessions. The activity, held on Monday, August 25, 2025, was attended by 50 students, mostly from the accounting major, in an interactive atmosphere involving presentations, simulations, and direct discussions. The results indicated an increase in students’ understanding of basic capital market concepts, differences between legal investments and illegal practices, as well as the initial steps to open a securities account. Students’ responses were highly positive, marked by their enthusiasm in asking questions and engaging in discussions. This program provided reciprocal benefits: for students as financial literacy provision, and for KKN students as valuable experience in public communication and community service. In conclusion, capital market socialization is a strategic means of building a financially literate young generation ready to face future economic challenges.

Abstract

This community service project was conducted in Peurumping Village, Montasik District, Aceh Besar, to strengthen public knowledge and awareness regarding tuberculosis (TB) prevention, vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs), and the role of immunization in the context of environmental health. The activity applied participatory methods, including interactive lectures, group discussions, structured questionnaires for 40 respondents, and observational engagement with local communities. Findings indicated that 60% of participants strongly supported TB prevention efforts, and 62.5% agreed with immunization programs, although 27.5% still rejected immunization. Environmental conditions such as poor ventilation (35%), high humidity (40%), and limited access to clean water (30%) were identified as factors exacerbating disease transmission. The program successfully enhanced the capacity of local health cadres, village midwives, youth groups, and local officials in promoting sustainable health education. It is concluded that community-based health education, coupled with participatory approaches, plays a vital role in improving community awareness, empowering health cadres, and fostering government commitment to advancing health behavior and environmental sanitation.

Abstract

The approach to preventing sexual violence in the campus environment continues to be a concern, including through the active role of the PPKS Task Force of Faletehan University. One of the efforts made is through socialization activities to the academic community. This article directly describes the dynamics that emerged during the activity, starting from the effectiveness of material delivery, participant responses, to challenges in creating a safe and inclusive discussion space. Forms of sexual violence, as well as the role of the Task Force have been conveyed well. However, communication that tends to be one-way is still an obstacle in encouraging active participation. The responses of the participants were varied, some were actively involved, but some were passive due to cultural factors, discomfort, and lack of trust in the PPKS Task Force. Other challenges arise in efforts to build a psychologically safe space, especially because there is still an imbalance in power relations in the academic environment and stigma against victims. Therefore, the communication approach, ongoing facilitator training, and student involvement from the planning stage are the main recommendations. These results are expected to inspire other campuses in designing a more comprehensive sexual violence prevention strategy and making victims feel safe.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious moderation values through the Festival Anak Islami organized by community service program (KKN) students in Nagori Marihat Bukit. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation and documentation. The findings reveal that the festival not only serves as a competition platform in Islamic-themed activities such as call to prayer (azan), Qur’an memorization (tahfidz), prayer recitation, quiz competitions, and calligraphy, but also functions as a medium for instilling the values of religious moderation from an early age. Tolerance, sportsmanship, solidarity, and respect for local wisdom were clearly reflected in the interactions among the children, the active participation of the community, and the involvement of local leaders. This activity demonstrates that community-based religious education can strengthen social cohesion, foster inclusiveness, and support the four indicators of religious moderation promoted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Therefore, the Festival Anak Islami can be considered an effective model for community-based religious moderation education in building a harmonious and moderate society.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a strategic agenda in strengthening national and state life amidst diversity. Moderation values ​​such as tolerance, sportsmanship, peace-loving, and respect for differences need to be instilled from an early age to become part of the character of the younger generation. The Pious Children Festival activity carried out through the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program in Sihuik-huik Village, South Angkola District was designed as an effort to internalize the value of religious moderation. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory action research method through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the activity showed that the Pious Children Festival was able to be an effective medium in instilling the value of religious moderation through five main strategies: (1) educational, namely instilling moderate understanding through religious-themed competitions; (2) role model, by presenting fair committees and judges; (3) habituation, through the practice of sportsmanship and togetherness; (4) participatory, by involving children, parents, and the community; and (5) recreational, by presenting a fun competition atmosphere. Thus, the Pious Children Festival has been proven to not only strengthen children's religiosity, but also shape moderate characters that are in accordance with the principles of religious moderation.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted in Sagalaherang Village, Ciamis Regency, with the objective of developing local coffee potential through culinary innovation in the form of coffee noodles. The background of this activity stems from the limited diversification of coffee products, since most farmers only market ground or roasted beans, resulting in low economic value. To address this issue, the program introduced an alternative approach that preserved the identity of coffee while opening new economic opportunities. The method was carried out through a workshop with local PKK women, which consisted of socialization on the importance of product diversification, hands-on practice in making coffee noodles (dough preparation, molding, boiling, and serving), and discussion on marketing strategies suitable for small businesses. The results indicated an increase in participants’ skills and knowledge in processing coffee into an innovative food product with a chewy texture, distinctive aroma, and unique taste that received positive feedback. Beyond producing a new product, the program also encouraged entrepreneurial awareness, strengthened collaboration, and motivated the establishment of small business groups oriented toward local economic development. Therefore, coffee noodle innovation has the potential to become a signature village product in Sagalaherang village while supporting empowerment and strengthening community economic independence

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is a student service activity aimed at applying the knowledge and skills acquired during college to real community problems. This KKN was conducted in Desa Rasau Jaya Satu, Kecamatan Rasau Jaya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya for a duration of four weeks in August 2025. The program involved comprehensive activities, including identifying key village issues and potentials, as well as implementing various development programs focused on improving infrastructure, education, agricultural productivity, and environmental cleanliness. The methods used during this KKN included direct observation, in-depth interviews with community leaders and members, community counseling sessions, and active participation of local residents in all stages of the program. As a result, students successfully accomplished multiple work programs such as the creation and installation of street name signs and cemetery markers, socialization campaigns addressing bullying prevention and environmental awareness, and technical assistance in resident data input for better governance. These efforts collectively contributed to positive impacts on the social, educational, environmental, institutional, and economic conditions of Desa Rasau Jaya Satu. Furthermore, this KKN has enhanced the awareness and sensitivity of participating students regarding the importance of community engagement and empowerment, as well as reinforced their practical skills in interdisciplinary collaboration. The integrated approach of this program supports sustainable village development and exemplifies the role of higher education institutions in fostering community welfare and student personal growth.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to foster congregational spirituality to enhance worship commitment at GKSI Jemaat Kristus Jambuh Balai. The background of the activity arises from the declining participation in worship, where worship is often perceived merely as a routine. The implementation method applied a participatory approach through biblical teaching, communal prayer, and reflective discussions involving active congregation engagement. The results indicate a paradigm shift: worship is now understood as a spiritual encounter deepening the relationship with God rather than a mere obligation. Congregational motivation also increased, demonstrated by more consistent attendance and greater openness to service. The evaluation revealed challenges in time allocation and program continuity; however, overall, the spiritual formation proved effective. This program recommends the continuity of spiritual formation as a structured church agenda, involving families and leaders as models of faith to sustain worship commitment.
