Abstract

Abstract: Based on a comparative analysis of the development of cybercrime regulations in Indonesia and Malaysia, it can be concluded that both countries recognize the urgency of strengthening cyber sovereignty as part of protecting national interests in the digital era. However, the normative and philosophical approaches used show quite fundamental differences. Indonesia, through the 2008 Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law, its 2016 revision, and the second amendment in 2024 (Law No. 1 of 2024), developed a broad and comprehensive regulatory model. These regulations not only regulate technical acts of cybercrime such as illegal access and data manipulation, but also encompass dimensions of digital content, including insults, hate speech, and the distribution of prohibited information. The 2024 revision demonstrates the country's efforts to clarify norms, align with the new Criminal Code, and respond to developments in digital technology. However, the main challenges remain: consistent law enforcement, the potential for multiple interpretations of norms, and the need to improve the capacity of law enforcement officers. In contrast, Malaysia, through the Computer Crimes Act 1997 (Act 563), initially adopted a more technical and limited approach, focusing on illegal access and misuse of computer systems. However, recent developments through the Cyber Security Act 2024 indicate a paradigm shift toward a more structural and risk-management-based approach, particularly in protecting the nation's critical information infrastructure. These reforms demonstrate Malaysia's focus on strengthening cybersecurity systems and risk governance, rather than solely criminalizing digital content. Keywords: Cybercrime, Indonesia, Malaysia.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of persuasive communication in TikTok Live on purchasing decisions, specifically on the Samono Indonesia account. The approach used was quantitative with a descriptive design, where data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 99 active buyers of Samono Indonesia products who follow its TikTok account. The research variables included psychodynamic, sociocultural, and constructive persuasive communication, and purchasing decisions. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression using SPSS 27.0. The results showed that psychodynamic persuasive communication had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a regression coefficient of 0.197 (p = 0.028). Sociocultural persuasive communication had the strongest effect with a coefficient of 0.477 (p = 0.000), while constructive persuasive communication also had a significant effect with a coefficient of 0.337 (p = 0.023). These three variables together explained 67.7% of the variation in purchasing decisions, with sociocultural persuasive communication being the most dominant factor. These findings indicate that in the context of TikTok Live, communication emphasizing social values, group norms, and community interaction is most effective in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. This research provides both theoretical and practical contributions, particularly in optimizing persuasive communication strategies for live shopping on digital platforms. For Samono Indonesia, the results suggest the importance of integrating sociocultural, constructive, and psychodynamic approaches into live content to increase audience engagement and drive sales.  Keywords: persuasive communication, psychodynamics, sociocultural, purchasing decisions, digital marketing.

Abstract

Abstract: Toddler growth remains a major public health concern, particularly in developing countries. Stunting is a condition characterized by impaired growth due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections occurring from the prenatal period until the age of 24 months, or during the first 1,000 days of life. A child is classified as stunted when their height-for-age is below -2 standard deviations. This study aimed to examine the relationship between mothers’ knowledge and attitudes toward the incidence of stunting among toddlers in Batu Tanjuang Village, the working area of Talawi Health Center, Sawahlunto City, in 2025. This quantitative research employed an analytic correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted from July to August 2025 with a total of 120 respondents, consisting of mothers with toddlers. The results showed that most toddlers had normal nutritional status (107 children; 89.2%), while 13 children (10.8%) were stunted. Regarding maternal knowledge, 70 respondents (58.3%) had moderate knowledge, 28 (23.3%) had good knowledge, and 22 (18.3%) had poor knowledge. In terms of attitudes, 70 respondents (58.3%) demonstrated moderate attitudes, 34 (28.3%) good attitudes, and 18 (13.4%) poor attitudes. Statistical analysis using Spearman’s rank correlation revealed a correlation coefficient of -0.477 with a p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant relationship with a moderate level of correlation. The study concluded that there is a significant relationship between mothers’ knowledge and attitudes and the incidence of stunting among toddlers in Batu Tanjuang. It is recommended that health promotion and educational programs be strengthened to improve mothers’ knowledge and attitudes in preventing stunting. Keywords: Stunting, Knowledge, Attitude.

Abstract

Abstract: Trademark protection in Indonesia currently applies the first to file principle as stipulated in Article 3 of Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications. However, in practice, the application of the first-to-file principle has not been able to provide legal certainty for trademark owners. As a result, several countries have adopted the first-to-use principle in their trademark protection systems. Although Law Number 20 of 2016 does not explicitly regulate the first-to-use principle, several provisions within the law reflect elements of this principle, including Article 21 paragraph (1), Article 21 paragraph (3), and Article 78 paragraph (1). The application of the first-to-use principle can also be observed in several court decisions in which judges consider the first use of a mark when determining trademark ownership. On the other hand, there are also court decisions that remain consistent with the first to file principle as mandated by the law. This research is a normative legal study analyzed using a qualitative method. The study employs the theory of legal certainty and the theory of legal systems. It concludes that the implementation of the first to use principle in Indonesia is still highly abstract and therefore does not yet reflect legal certainty for trademark owners. Keywords: Trademark, Legal Certainty, First to Use.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is a nutritional problem that is still commonly found among adolescent girls and can affect reproductive health, one of which is menstrual cycle disorders. An irregular menstrual cycle in adolescent girls may indicate hormonal imbalance influenced by nutritional status. This study aimed to determine the relationship between Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in adolescent girls and menstrual cycle patterns at SMAN 2 Tambang. This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of all tenth-grade female students at SMAN 2 Tambang, totaling 40 respondents, with the sampling technique using total sampling. Nutritional status data were obtained through Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) measurements, while menstrual cycle data were collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate analysis with Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed that out of 40 adolescent girls, 13 respondents (32.5%) experienced Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED), while 27 respondents (67.5%) had normal nutritional status. A total of 25 respondents (62.5%) had a normal menstrual cycle, while 15 respondents (37.5%) experienced an irregular menstrual cycle. Bivariate analysis indicated a significant relationship between Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) and menstrual cycle patterns among adolescent girls at SMAN 2 Tambang, with a p-value of 0.001. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) and menstrual cycle patterns in adolescent girls. Therefore, efforts to improve nutritional status and provide balanced nutrition education for adolescent girls are needed to maintain reproductive health and regular menstrual cycles.Keyword : Chronic Energy Deficiency, Menstrual Cycle, Adolescent Girls

Abstract

Birugo Puhun Road is a secondary collector road in Bukittinggi City with a width of approximately 6 meters and an effective lane width of about 4 meters. It experiences relatively heavy traffic volumes, especially during peak hours due to activities related to boarding houses, small shops, residential areas, and other surrounding land uses. The addition of a public facility, namely the Teratai Birugo Datuak Bandaro Community Health Centers, has the potential to increase traffic volume and side friction. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the traffic performance on this road segment as a result of the health center’s operation. The data used include both primary and secondary data, such as population, existing road conditions, traffic volume, and side friction. The analysis was conducted based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) 2023. The results indicate that the highest traffic volume is 309 passenger car units per hour (pcu/h), the highest side friction class is 103 events per hour, the road capacity is 1,220 pcu/h, and the degree of saturation is 0.25, with the level of service classified as category B. It can be concluded that the operation of the Teratai Birugo Datuak Bandaro Community Health Centers has not had a significant effect on the traffic performance of Birugo Puhun Road. However, field conditions, particularly during peak hours, show that traffic flow tends to approach unstable conditions due to the narrow road width and increasing side friction. Keywords: Traffic Volume, Side Friction Class, Capacity, Degree of Saturation
