Abstract

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding at the age of 0-6 months globally and nationally is not yet optimal, this is because at the beginning of the postpartum period many people are faced with irregular milk production. The mother's knowledge about lactation management since pregnancy will influence the smooth flow of breast milk during the postpartum period. This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal knowledge about lactation preparation in the third trimester and smooth breastfeeding in postpartum mothers. Method: This type of research is quantitative, analytical observational research design with a cross sectional approach. The total sample was 33 people determined using accidental sampling technique. This research was carried out at TPMB Siti Rubiyanti on 12 December 2023 – 20 January 2024. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank correlation test. Results: The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents with less knowledge about lactation preparation in the third trimester were 20 postpartum mothers (60.6%), and almost all postpartum mothers' breast milk was not smooth, 27 people (81.8%). The results of the analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test showed a value of p = 0.002 < α 0.05, meaning that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge about lactation management in the third trimester and smooth breastfeeding in postpartum mothers. Conclusion: The results of this study can be used as a reference to increase knowledge to pregnant women third trimester by providing counseling/KIE obiut purpose lactation management during pregnancy.Keywords: Smooth breastfeeding, knowledge, lactation management

Abstract

Based on document searches, Deli Serdang Regency still faces challenges in expanding JKN coverage, especially among unregistered communities. BPJS Kesehatan coverage is still inadequate, and there are limitations in the information they obtain regarding service procedures, administrative requirements, and the types of health services covered by BPJS Kesehatan. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between demographic aspects and the utilization of BPJS Kesehatan. The research design used in this study was cross-sectional. The research was conducted at the Tuntungan Community Health Center in September 2025. The research population consisted of all BPJS Kesehatan users in the Tuntungan Community Health Center working area. The sample consisted of 80 respondents. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed a relationship between age (p value: 0.032) and education (p value: 0.040). It is recommended that health center staff improve health services to increase the utilization of BPJS Kesehatan services.

Abstract

Gangguan gastrointestinal merupakan keluhan umum pada lanjut usia akibat proses degenerasi fungsional yang progresif. Seiring dengan peningkatan populasi lansia global, diperlukan intervensi mandiri keperawatan yang aman dan non-farmakologis untuk mengatasi keluhan nyeri pencernaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas intervensi akupresur terhadap penurunan tingkat nyeri pada lansia dengan gangguan pencernaan di UPTD Pelayanan Sosial Lanjut Usia Binjai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan rancangan quasi-experiment menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest pada 25 responden. Intervensi dilakukan melalui penekanan manual pada titik meridian ST36, ST 25, LI4, dan CV2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden menderita GERD (36%) dan gastritis (32%). Sebelum intervensi, sebanyak 68% responden mengalami nyeri sedang, namun setelah intervensi, angka nyeri sedang menurun menjadi 40% dan nyeri ringan meningkat menjadi 60%. Uji statistik Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan nilai p-value = 0,008 (p < 0,05), yang menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pemberian akupresur terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri gastrointestinal pada lansia.Terapi ini direkomendasikan sebagai asuhan keperawatan holistik untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup kelompok lanjut usia Keywords: Akupresur, Lansia, Gangguan Pencernaan, Nyeri, Gastrointestinal.

Abstract

Abstract: Stunting is a significant public health problem in Jember Regency and has a long-term impact on the quality of human resources. Efforts to accelerate stunting reduction require active community involvement through strengthening the capacity of local organization-based health cadres. This study aims to analyze the application of an applied learning model for early stunting detection to improve the competence of 'Aisyiyah cadres in the community. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest design approach. The subjects were Aisyiyah cadres who participated in early stunting detection training. The intervention was an applied learning model that emphasized direct practice, anthropometric measurement simulations, the use of detection tools, and field mentoring. Cadre competency measurements included aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills before and after the intervention. Data analysis was conducted using statistical tests to determine differences in pretest and posttest scores. The results showed a significant increase in cadre competency after being given the applied learning model. There was a very significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores in 20 participants (Z = -3.195, p < 0.001, r = 0.89). Improvements were seen in understanding the concept of stunting, the accuracy of anthropometric measurements, and the ability of cadres to educate mothers of toddlers. The applied learning model has proven effective in increasing cadre readiness for early detection of stunting in the community. This learning model can be used as a community-based training strategy to support programs to accelerate stunting reduction.Keywords: Early Detection; Stunting; Cadre Competency; Applied Learning Model.

Abstract

This article analyzes the dynamics of the Muhammadiyah movement in Java and West Sumatra by highlighting the historical, cultural, and structural differences that shape the character of the movement in both regions. Although Muhammadiyah promotes a normatively uniform ideology of Islamic modernism, its practices and expressions at the local level exhibit significant variation. This study employs a qualitative approach with a comparative-historical design based on library research. Data are drawn from official Muhammadiyah documents, works of key figures and scholars, and relevant academic literature, and are analyzed qualitatively using the theoretical framework of Islamic modernism, structuration theory, and the concept of cultural negotiation.The findings indicate that Muhammadiyah in Java developed within a cultural context that emphasizes harmony and a hierarchical social structure, resulting in a movement characterized by moderation, persuasive strategies, and gradual change, with institutional strengthening as its primary approach. In contrast, Muhammadiyah in West Sumatra evolved within an egalitarian culture and a critical surau-based intellectual tradition, producing a movement that is more rational, assertive, and argumentative. These differences are not dichotomous; rather, they represent a spectrum of complementary expressions of Muhammadiyah’s Islamic modernism.This study demonstrates that the strength of Muhammadiyah as a national Islamic movement lies in its ability to manage local diversity without losing its ideological identity. The article contributes to the study of modern Islam in Indonesia by emphasizing the importance of contextual approaches in understanding the dynamics of religious movements.Keywords: Muhammadiyah, Islamic modernism, Java, West Sumatra, cultural dynamics.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines Restorative Justice as a manifestation of human rights within the framework of ultimum remedium in the Indonesian criminal justice system. The restorative approach is understood as a paradigm that places victim recovery, offender accountability, and community participation at the core of criminal case resolution. This orientation differs from the retributive model, which primarily emphasizes punishment and retaliation. The human rights framework provides a normative foundation that every individual is entitled to dignified and proportional treatment, as well as access to substantive justice. The principle of ultimum remedium reinforces the idea that criminal law, particularly imprisonment, must be used as a last resort after other alternative mechanisms have been considered. Legal reform through the new Criminal Code reflects a more humane and responsive policy direction toward societal needs. The integration of Restorative Justice into the criminal justice system is expected to achieve a balanced protection of public interests, victim restoration, and the fair social reintegration of offenders.  Keywords: Restorative Justice, Human Rights, Ultimum Remedium.

Abstract

Pregnant women who experience nutritional deficiencies can have an impact on stunting. Therefore, stunting prevention is necessary, one way of prevention is through education to increase pregnant women's knowledge about nutrition. Education is obtained from various media, one of which is booklets. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of booklet media education about nutrition for pregnant women on maternal knowledge at the Sapta Taruna Community Health Center in Pekanbaru City. The research design used a Quasi Experiment with a pre-test post-test one group design. The sample used was 60 respondents with a purposive sampling technique. This research tool used a nutritional knowledge questionnaire and booklets. The results showed that before the education, the majority of respondents' knowledge was in the sufficient category with an average value of 13.90 and after the education, the majority of respondents' knowledge was good with an average value of 19.32. The Wilcoxon test obtained a p-value of 0.023 <0.05, which indicates that there is an effect of providing health education about nutrition for pregnant women. Booklets can be an educational medium to increase pregnant women's knowledge about nutritional needs during pregnancy. Key_words_ Knowledge, Nutrition for pregnant women, Booklet

Abstract

Abstract: The development of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) requires land legal instruments that provide certainty and justice. The Right to Build (HGB) are a crucial instrument in land provision, but their regulation faces disharmony between the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA), PP No. 40/1996, PP No. 18/2021, the IKN Law, and and their derivative regulations. This disharmony creates legal uncertainty, particularly for investment and injustice for the community and land management in the IKN. This study aims to analyze the HGB regulations in the Indonesian Land Law system and identify the sources of uncertainty in the regulations regarding HGB in the IKN. Using normative legal research methods with a descriptive analytical nature, this study compares laws and regulations. Data were obtained through literature review and analyzed qualitatively. The results show disharmony in regulations regarding the HGB term, the authority to grant rights, and the position of the IKN Authority. This condition increases the risk of legal uncertainty for investors and has the potential to cause injustice to the community. Therefore, regulatory harmonization is needed to ensure the effective development of the IKN and provide legal certainty and justice for all parties.Keywords: HGB, IKN, Disharmony of Regulation, Legal Certainty, Agrarian Law

Mother's knowledge in compiling a toddler menu is a key factor in the practice of fulfilling children's daily nutrition.Objective: To determine the influence of nutrition education on increasing maternal knowledge in the preparation of the toddler menu in the Medan Denai PKM area.Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test approaches in the intervention and control groups. The sample consisted of 100 mothers who had toddlers aged 6–24 months and were selected through purposive sampling. The intervention group received nutrition education for 3 sessions over a four-week period. Data collection was carried out through knowledge questionnaires before and after the intervention. Data analysis used paired t-test, independent t-test, and ANCOVA. Results: There was a significant increase in knowledge scores in the intervention group (p<0.001), while the control group showed a non-significant increase (mean p=0.08). Bivariate and multivariate analyses showed that nutrition education had a significant effect on improving maternal knowledge, regardless of education and family income (p<0.001). Conclusion: Nutrition education has been proven to be effective in increasing mothers' knowledge about the preparation of the toddler menu. It is necessary to implement nutrition education routinely in the Puskesmas and Posyandu as a preventive and promotive effort in improving the nutritional status of toddlers. Keywords: Nutrition, Knowledge, Toddler Menu

Abstract

Nurse performance is influenced by various factors, both individual and organizational. Based on in-depth interviews conducted with five practicing nurses at the Daya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Makassar, several issues related to leadership style and nurse performance were identified. The findings indicate that the leadership style of nursing leaders is not yet fully perceived as effective by all practicing nurses. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between leadership style and nurse performance. A cross-sectional design was used in this study. The study was conducted at the Daya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Makassar. The study was conducted in April 2025. The study population consisted of all 37 practicing nurses in the inpatient ward, who also became the study sample. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed a relationship between leadership style (p value: 0.045) and nurse performance. It is recommended that nurses understand the leadership style applied by the head of the ward to produce high-quality performance from practicing nurses at the hospital.         Keywords: Leadership, Performance, Nurses
