Abstract

Globally, women dying from pregnancy complications decreased by almost 50% from 1990-2013, but the number of deaths remains high where 99% of deaths occur due to complications. Deaths caused by pregnancy complications cannot be avoided, but can be prevented through Antenatal Care (ANC) services as explained by previous studies that ANC services can reduce MMR by up to 20%. This study aims to determine the relationship between the 10T ANC Service Components and Pregnancy Complications. Quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all Women of Childbearing Age (WUS) who gave birth to their last child in the last 5 years. Sample selection was determined based on the ratio using stratification and total sampling of 14,437. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test and multivariate analysis using logistic regression. The results of the analysis showed that there were 2,539 (17.5%) women who experienced complications. Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between the components of ANC 10T services, education, wealth index, and residence with pregnancy complications, p- value <0.05, while parity showed no significant relationship with complications p = 0.378 . The results of multivariate analysis showed that women who did not receive the 10T service components according to standards had a 1,438 times higher risk of experiencing pregnancy complications after being controlled with the variables of parity, education, wealth index, and residence. This study provides important information for the next step in developing an ANC service strategy, namely providing services based on SOPs, improving skills and providing education to mothers and families about the importance of ANC services, in addition to policy making and increasing cooperation between stakeholders need to be done to optimize quality ANC services.

Abstract

Childbirth is a natural way that every mother must go through where the results of conception in the form of a baby and placenta are released from the uterus. Normal labor is characterized by uterine contractions that cause thinning, dilation of the cervix and push the fetus out through the birth canal, causing a sensation of pain felt by the mother. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an Effect of Murrotal Al-Qur'an Therapy on Reducing the Intensity of Labor Pain in the First Active Phase at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic. The research method used was Pre-Experiment One Group Pre and Posttest Design. Samples were taken by Accidental Sampling from mothers in the first active phase of labor who met the inclusion criteria totaling 30 people. Data collection was carried out using a face pain rating scale questionnaire. Data analysis with the Shapiro Wilk test and tested with the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test statistical test. The results of the study conducted from May to July, found the average pain scale before therapy was 6.83 and the average after therapy was 6.17, the decrease in pain scale from before to after Murottal therapy was 0.66. From the statistical test, the P value = 0.001 was obtained, indicating that there was an effect of Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy on reducing the intensity of labor pain. The conclusion of this study is that the provision of Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy has been proven to be able to reduce labor pain in the first active phase. It is hoped that the provision of Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy will be an alternative intervention in reducing labor pain in the first active phase.

Abstract

Sleep disorders in the elderly are a problem that can affect overall health. The lighting factor during sleep is thought to influence sleep quality through inhibiting melatonin production and disrupting circadian rhythms. This research used a cross-sectional design with a total sampling of 44 elderly respondents in Sidodadi Village, Banyuwangi. The independent variable is lighting (bright, dim, dark), while the dependent variable is sleep quality. Data analysis was carried out using the chi-square test. Most respondents slept in darkness (52.4%), and the majority had good sleep quality (83.3%). However, the results of the chi-square test showed that there was no significant relationship between lighting and sleep quality (p-value = 0.066). This research concludes that lighting does not have a statistically significant relationship with the sleep quality of the elderly in Sidodadi Village. Further research is needed to consider other variables that may influence sleep quality in older adults.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor that grows in the cervix caused by infection with the Human Papilloma Virus, acquired through sexual intercourse. Indonesia ranks 8th in the highest incidence of cancer in Southeast Asia, the highest prevalence of cancer is Yogyakarta Province where Sleman Regency ranks the highest IVA positive at 2.5% and Halis IVA at the Pakem Health Center is suspected of cervical cancer reaching 13 out of 22 positive IVA results. This achievement is still very low, because there is still low public awareness to carry out early detection of cervical cancer. To determine the relationship between attitude and behavior for early detection of cervical cancer. Quantitative research with a Case Control approach. A sample of 160 women with a proportional sampling technique. Data collection was in the form of filling out questionnaires online using Google Forms with chi square test data analysis and logistic regression. There was a relationship between positive attitude p-value=0.017 and OR of 3.462, women aged >35 years p- value=0.038, multipara parity p-value=0.007, with early detection behavior of cervical cancer. Parity provided a great chance of 7,038 times that women performed early detection behaviors of cervical cancer (CT 95%= 0.187-264,350). To improve early detection examinations, health workers can design health education and promotion models, increase educational socialization to cadres, the public and the community continuously and sustainably.

Abstract

BPJS Health experienced losses due to stopped payment of contributions for participants who had utilized delivery services of more than 200 billion in a period of 2 years. It was recorded that 64.7% of mothers who were about to give birth registered as participants a month before giving birth and then stopped (43%) or behaved in adverse selection in payments after delivery. The largest percentage comes from independent participants or Non-Wage Recipient Participants (PBPU). In Jambi Province, non-compliance in paying BPJS Health contributions is highest in Jambi City. It was recorded that 77,489 participants were in arrears in 2021, resulting in losses of 60.1 billion. Non-compliance with paying contributions is adverse selection behavior. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors causing adverse selection behavior among independent participants in paying post-natal JKN contributions in Jambi City. Quantitative study approach with a cross-sectional design carried out in Jambi City. Respondents totaling 96 people were selected based on accidental sampling technique. The study instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis consists of univariate analysis stages and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The study results found that as many as 33.3% of independent participants behaved in adverse selection when paying JKN contributions after giving birth. There is a significant relationship between the factors number of family members (p=0.001), knowledge (0.000), perception of illness (p=0.001), clinical assessment (p=0.000), and willingness to pay (WTP) with adverse selection behavior in independent JKN participants postpartum. It is recommended that BPJS Health consider implementing a waiting period method for participants who will utilize maternity services. As well as increasing promotive activities for the Jambi City Government in educating and increasing public awareness about the importance of health insurance in protecting household finances.
