Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of hardiness in sales promotion girl. hardiness is a psychological resilience and strategy to deal with stress which can be seen from three aspects, namely, commitment, control and challenge. this research uses descriptive quantitative method. with a population of 50 spg, the sample used is 50 sales promotion girls. the sampling method used in this research is saturated sampling. the data collection method uses a likert scale, namely the hardiness scale. hardiness scale based on kobasa's (1982) theory. the results of data analysis from this study hardiness is in the medium category. the result of further research is the percentage of hardiness aspect that is high is control.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the academic self-efficacy of pharmacy academy students. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The sample used is the Surabaya Pharmacy Academy students who work with a total of 100 students. The sampling method used in this research is saturated sampling. The data collection method used a Likert scale, namely the academic self-efficacy scale. The results of data analysis from this study were in the moderate category of academic self-efficacy. The results of further research that the percentage of high academic self-efficacy aspects is the state aspect in completing the task.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between organizational activity and interpersonal skills of adolescents in Trompo Asri Jabon Sidoarjo. This study uses a quantitative approach. In this study, a sample of 46 students in Trompo Asri Village, Jabon Sidoarjo, was used which was obtained from the total sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out with the scale of organizational activity and the scale of interpersonal skills. Measurement of variables using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed by testing the hypothesis using the Pearson Correlaton Product Moment. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between organizational activity and interpersonal skills in students in Trompo Asri Village. Students' organizational activities in Trompo Asri Village are classified as active, while students' interpersonal skills in Trompo Asri Village are classified as good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and psychological well-being in the elderly at Griya Wredha Jambangan Surabaya. This research is a type of quantitative research, using a saturated sampling method on the existing population, namely 152 elderly subjects at Griya Wreda Jambangan Surabaya. Data were collected using a psychological scale on the variables of peer social support and psychological well-being. The items on the scale were then tested for validity and reliability with the results of item validity moving from 0.659 to 0.864 out of 20 item items on the peer social support scale and item validity scores moving from 0.466 to 0.758 out of 28 item items on the psychological well-being instrument, so that can be used as a valid second instrument to use. The results of the scale reliability test obtained a score of 0.964 and 0.913 on the scale of peer social support and psychological well-being which were greater than > 0.60, which means the research scale is reliable to use. The data obtained were then processed using normality test, linearity test, classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. Through the results of the product moment correlation test, the result is 0.931** or close to 1. It can be said that there is a positive relationship between a person's social support and their psychological well-being. Referring to the significance value where 0.000 <0.05, it means that Ha is accepted, that is, there is a relationship between peer social support and the psychological well-being of the elderly, where the higher the social support received by the elderly, the higher the perceived psychological well-being. Based on the Adjusted R Square value in the tests conducted by the researchers, the results were 56.6% where the social support of friends had an effect on a person's psychological well-being, interference by other variables being studied by the researcher.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of stress academic experience experienced by students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Sidoarjo. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotion regulation and academic stress achievement of the students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Sidoarjo. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research with a correlational approach. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Sidoarjo, East Java. The population in this study amounted to 1368 students, so from the calculation using the Slovin formula the sample used was 309 students who were taken using stratified random sampling technique. Data collection in this study used two psychological scales, namely the emotional regulation scale from the aspect of emotion regulation and obtained a reliability coefficient value of (α) 0.868 [1]. Scale academic stress from the aspect of academic stress and obtained a reliability coefficient value of (α) 0.920 [2]. Analysis of the data in this study using Pearson's Correlations and the analysis process using the JASP program version 0.13.1.0 for windows. The results showed that the value of r = -0.506 and p value = 0.001 where 0.001 <0.05, which means that there is a significant negative relationship between emotional regulation variables and academic stress in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Sidoarjo students. It is known that the value of r = -0.506, which means that the magnitude of the effect of emotional regulation on academic stress is quite large with a value of r = -0.506.

Abstract

The functioning and success of an organization are influenced by various factors, one of which is the leadership style present within the institution, which in turn affects the performance of the employees within it. Transformational leadership is considered an ideal leadership style and is widely used because it can guide employees. The purpose of this research was to identify the elements that play a role in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, which contribute to the positive impact of transformational leadership on employee performance. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, with a total of 42 participants selected through a saturation sampling method. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value in both the Kendall version (p is 0.05, sig = 0.058 > 0.05) and the Spearman version (p is 0.05, sig = 0.055 > 0.05), both reaching 0.058. This indicates that there was no correlation between transformational leadership and workplace productivity. The research findings can be used as a reference for institutions in managing their employees' performance.

Abstract

Employee performance influences company development. Like employees in general, the performance of online shop employees affects the productivity or effectiveness of the business carried out to achieve profits. Technology-based online shops require effective implementation of teleworking. Empirically, this research determines the relationship between the effectiveness of teleworking and the performance of online shop employees. Researchers put forward the hypothesis that there is a positive correlation between the effectiveness of teleworking and the job performance of online shop employees. The respondents for this research consisted of 101 online shop employees in Yogyakarta. Researchers used the Employee Performance Scale (EPS) compiled by Tabouli et al. (2016), and the E-Work Life Scale (EWL) from Grant et al. (2018). Data analysis through Pearson product moment revealed a significant relationship between teleworking effectiveness variables and performance variables (R=0.261 and p=0.008). These results indicate that the higher the effectiveness of teleworking, the higher the performance of online shop employees, and vice versa. The contribution of teleworking effectiveness to employee performance is only 0.068 or 6.8%, of which the remaining 93.2% is other influential variables. Researchers put forward implications and suggestions based on these findings. Highlights: Teleworking's impact: The study reveals a positive correlation between teleworking effectiveness and job performance among online shop employees. Data significance: Analysis indicates a significant relationship between teleworking effectiveness and employee performance. Contribution insight: Teleworking effectiveness contributes 6.8% to employee performance, with other factors playing a substantial role. Abstract

Karyawan merupakan sumber daya manusia yang sangat penting dalam mendukung aktifitas perusahaan. Perasaan tidak menyenangkan, emosi negatif, tidak nyaman, permasalahan kerja maupun relasi sangat bisa menghambat aktifitas kerja karyawan. Subjective well-being pada diri karyawan akan mempengaruhi banyak hal, seperti meningkatkan kesehatan fisik, tingkat kreativitas dan pemecahan masalah, mendorong perilaku pro-sosial dan meningkatkan partisipasi karyawan di tempat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Problem focused coping dengan Subjective well-being pasa karyawan. Hipotesis yang peneliti ajukan adalah adanya hubungan positif antara Problem focused coping dengan Subjective well-being pada karyawan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 118 karyawan, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yakni Teknik Sampling Jenuh, sehingga seluruh populasi digunakan sebagai subjek. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala psikologi dengan model penskalaan Likert yaitu subjective well being (SWLS dan PANAS) dan Problem focused coping. Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode korelasi product moment dengan bantuan program SPSS 25.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan korelasi positif yang sangat signifikan (rxy = 0,413; p<0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan semakin tinggi problem-focused coping maka semakin tinggi pula subjective well-being pada karyawan, dan sebaliknya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan self efficacy pada anggota KSR PMI Kota Mojokerto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi data pada penelitian ini anggota KSR PMI Kota Mojokerto yang berjumlah 50 anggota, meliputi 25 laki-laki dan 25 perempuan. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 50 anggota. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala dukungan sosial teman sebaya dan skala self efficacy yang diadopsi dari peneliti Inayah. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan spearman's rho. Hasil data penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan self efficacy rxy sebesar 0,320 dengan p 0,023 (p < 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan jika dukungan sosial teman sebaya tinggi maka self efficacy pada anggota KSR PMI Kota Mojokerto tinggi namun sebaliknya jika dukungan sosial teman sebaya rendah maka self efficacy pada anggota KSR PMI Kota Mojokerto juga rendah.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara school well-being dengan motivasi berprestasi pada siswa SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Variabel yang digunakan yakni school wellbeing sebagai variabel bebas dan motivasi berprestasi sebagai variabel tergantung. Populasi penelitian ini yakni siswa SMK sejumlah 180 siswa. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 119 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala school wellbeing dan motivasi berprestasi. Skala motivasi berprestasi dalam penelitian ini mengacu aspek motivasi berprestasi McClelland yang diadopsi dari penelitian Sinurat dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,985. Sedangkan skala school well-being menggunakan aspek school well-being Alanen, Konu dan Rimpela yang diadopsi dari penelitian Kalsum dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,851. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,448 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05) sehingga uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima, yaitu terdapat hubungan positif antara school well-being dengan motivasi berprestasi. Pengaruh variabel school well-being terhadap motivasi berprestasi sebesar 20,1%. Dengan demikian ada pengaruh dari faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi motivasi berprestasi sebesar 79,9%.
