Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine journals about the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum using (Learning Manajement System) LMS. This article is discussed qualitatively using a literature study from the perspective of critical discourse analysis by examining several journals that are relevant to the topic. The steps taken are (1) collecting data from relevant journals (2) analyzing reading material from journals and making conclusions from the topic of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum using the (Learning Manajement System) LMS. The results of the study in this article show that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is related to (Learning Manajement System) LMS. Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is carried out using interrelated (Learning Manajement System) LMS.

Abstract

Objective study This is to produce a book that guides learning as strengthening children's Pancasila values at an early age of 5–6 years. It is valid, practical, and effective. The method of research used is research and development with a 4D development model consisting of stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Findings study This that is study This succeeds in developing a book guide for learning customized with material curriculum independent of strengthening children's Pancasila values phase foundation. Based on the difference in results between the pretest and posttest, it can be concluded that the book guide developed learning already effective. Implications from the study This, i.e., order book guide, can be developed on other topics done in training towards teachers more widely about how to use book guides to learn based on Pancasila values, interesting interest, and participant education to learn and give positive marks in support of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in the implementation of curriculum at the independent preschool level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of reading learning techniques and reading interest on the reading comprehension ability of grade V students. The learning models studied are Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R) and Direct Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA) reading learning techniques. SQ3R and DRTA are one of the techniques in learning reading. The SQ3R technique is used to improve reading comprehension skills in each student. While the DRTA technique is used to demand and train students to concentrate on understanding the content of the reading well. Both techniques are used to find out good techniques in reading comprehension. This research was conducted at SDIT Al Hamidiyah Depok with a sample of 80 students taken randomly. The research design used was factorial 2 X 2 and the technique used for hypothesis testing was two-track ANAVA followed by the Tuckey Test. The results obtained in this study are 1) There are differences in reading comprehension skills between students who learn with the SQ3R technique and students who learn with the DRTA technique; 2) There is a difference in reading comprehension skills in students with high reading interest between those who study with the SQ3R technique and those who learn with the DRTA technique; 3) There is a difference in reading comprehension skills in students with low reading interest between those who study with the SQ3R technique and those who learn with the DRTA technique; 4) There is an influence of interaction between learning techniques and reading interest on reading comprehension skills. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R) reading learning technique is better or more effective than the Direct Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA) technique. Interest in reading affects students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

Each level of education has different characteristics of students, thus requiring additional efforts to improve literacy and numeracy. The purpose of this study is to find out the optimization of the campus teaching program to improve literacy and numeracy skills in SD Negeri 2 Pakisan. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The methods used are interviews and observations. The results of this study are that there are several excellent work programs implemented by Campus Teaching Students Batch 5 including reading corners, reading aloud (reading fairy tales), teaching numeracy based on everyday life or fast counting numeracy (hicat), class bulletins, and establishing a guidance center integrated learning (bimberdu). The work program was effectively implemented for 16 weeks which illustrates the improvement in the ability of students at SD Negeri 2 Pakisan. The students' ability to understand the questions increased as evidenced by the results of the pre-test Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) for literacy class of 36 percent and numeracy of 34 percent while the post-test results of AKM class increased to 75 percent for literacy and numeracy of 74 percent.

Abstract

The role of Dalihan na tolu is something that cannot be separated in the life of the Toba Batak indigenous people. In his role with the task of the church, Dalihan na tolu can go hand in hand in proclaiming the truth of God's Word so that customs and Christianity become one and form new habits, new customs, which are based on the love of Christ. The problem that will be discussed is the reconstruction of Dalihan na tolu in Batak culture towards practical theology that is relevant to the task of the church. The approach method used in this research is a qualitative research method, while the research approach used is a qualitative research approach with the technique of "Observation, interviews, documentation, triangulation/combination". The data used are secondary and primary data. The results show that in the life of the Toba Batak indigenous people, the role of Dalihan na tolu greatly enhances the cooperation of the respective roles of the elements of Dalihan na tolu, namely Somba marhula-hula, Manat mardongan tubu, and elek marboru where these elements are very important and should not be forgotten because it has become a furnace or three supporting stones. The customs carried out prioritize worship and adopt the concept of friendship and kinship in Christianity, namely love and sacrifice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe a desire and also the purpose of using identity and symbols from Malay ethnicity and culture in the North Sumatra region. The results of research in the field will be analyzed using theory based on social action with research methods that use qualitative as well as quantitative case studies in North Sumatra. Data collection using detailed interview methods and also observations from respondents in North Sumatra. The data analysis used in this research method reveals various symbols of Malay culture in North Sumatra which have messages to convey to the wider community regarding traditions, culture and local wisdom in North Sumatra. Symbols are media that can be used to reinforce a status that has a relationship with power and also the human and natural resources in North Sumatra. The symbol of Malay identity in North Sumatra in the post-reformation era became one of the actions taken by Malay people as a form of existence for the Malay community to show their concern for local cultures in North Sumatra. This action is one of the motives of the Malay ethnicity in North Sumatra to change the potential for relations between ethnic groups in North Sumatra in order to maintain local wisdom and also hold the strategic side in North Sumatra. So that it can increase the value of Malay culture in North Sumatra.
