Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) find out whether the application of Gagnon and Collay's constructivism model can increase the vocabulary of grade III students of UPT SPF State Elementary School Number 104244 Jati Sari Lubuk Pakam using newspaper media. (2) To find out there is an interaction between the application of Gagnon and Collay's constructivism model with vocabulary. (3). To find out whether the application of the constructivism model of Gagnon and Collay can improve public communication of grade III students of UPT SPF State Elementary School Number 104244 Jati Sari Lubuk Pakam by using newspaper media. (4) To find out there is an interaction between the application of Gagnon and Collay's constructivism model with public communication. The research design used in this study is quantitative research. The population in this study is the entire class III UPT SPF State Elementary School Number 104244 Jati Sari Lubuk Pakam. The data collection technique uses Test Essay and Observation techniques. The research found that the constructivism model of Gagnon and Collay could increase vocabulary in grade III students of UPT SPF SDN No 104244 Jati Sari using newspaper media. However, the null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted, meaning there was no interaction between the model and vocabulary. In public communication, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted, indicating no interaction between the model and public communication.

Abstract

The use of the game method will be more effective if supported by the media as a learning aid in helping grade 1 elementary school students develop reading competence. The formulation of this research problem is: How is the development of reading competence through learning media picture cards of grade I students of SD Negeri Number 107423 Tanjung Garbus, Pagar Merbau District, Deli Serdang Regency for the 2023-2024 Academic Year?". This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) consisting of two cycles. Research procedures include planning, implementation/action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 27 grade I students of SD Negeri Number 107423 Tanjung Garbus. If you look at cycle I and cycle II, the percentage of students who are present at the time of learning activities increases from 100%, the percentage of listening to the teacher's explanation increases from 78% to 100%, the percentage of active in asking and answering increases from 44% to 89%, the percentage of student courage in describing picture cards increases from 26% to 78%, the percentage of accuracy in using picture card media increases from 19% to 93%, The percentage of completing assignments on time from 56% to 100%, the percentage of students who do other activities during the learning process (noisy, playing, disturbing friends, in and out of class) decreased from 30% to 7%. These results show that learning using pictorial media can affect student learning motivation, effective as a tool to train student courage, effective in training student discipline in appreciating time in learning. Student learning activities affect students' ability to read.

Abstract

There is an opinion that considers that this Ruwatan tradition is a tradition of shirk people or can be said to believe in something other than Allah SWT. Problem formulation: (1). What is the traditional procession of ruwatan for a single girl? What is the semiotic meaning of the procession and offerings of the Ruwatan tradition for single girls at pre-wedding ceremonies in Javanese society, seen from an Islamic religious perspective in Pematang Tatal Village? This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a phenomenological approach. The research was carried out from October 2023 to January 2024 and was carried out in Pematang Tatal Village, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Techniques for collecting data to obtain the desired data, researchers use several methods, namely: (a). observation; (b). interview or interview; and (c) documentation. Data processing methods are: a. data check (editing); b. classification (classifying); c. verification (verifying); d. analysis (analyzing); e. conclusion (concluding). The study analyzes the semiotic meaning of various Ruwatan tradition ceremonies, including Sungkeman, Siraman, Haircut, Tirakatan, and Thanksgiving Prayer. The tradition is part of the Koran teachings for Muslims. Three opinions exist: opposition, pro, and tolerant. Opponents view it as a polytheistic Javanese custom, proponents preserve it as cultural heritage, and tolerants acculturate it to Islamic values.

Abstract

Through writing activities, a person can express thoughts and ideas to achieve goals and objectives. The objectives of this research are: (1). To describe the process of developing a collaborative learning model in improving students' writing skills and describe the effectiveness of using a collaborative learning model in improving the writing skills of fifth-grade students UPT SPF Elementary School Number 101826 Tuntungan Pancur Batu. The research design in this research is research and development. The subjects of this research were fifth-grade students at UPT SPF No. Elementary School. 101826 Tuntungan Pancur Batu for the 2023-2024 academic year. The object of research for this research is the writing learning model, namely a collaborative learning model implemented in class V students. The results of the research were: (1). The process of developing a collaborative learning model in improving descriptive text writing skills for fifth-grade students at UPT SPF Elementary School Number 101826 Tuntungan Pancur Batu, namely 1) orienting students, 2) forming groups, 3) preparing learning tasks, 4) facilitating student collaboration and 5) providing value and evaluate collaborative learning. (2). The validation results show that in the feasibility aspect of the material, an average validation score of 4.19 was obtained in the good category, then in the aspect of feasibility of presenting the material, an average validation score of 4 was obtained in the good category and the aspect of language appropriateness, the average score was found. -The validation average is 4.2 in the good category. (3) The collaborative learning model is effective in improving descriptive text writing skills by fifth-grade students at SD UPT SPF Number 101826 Tuntungan Pancur Batu.

Abstract

The use of short story teaching materials has great potential in students' reading skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the development and validation of teaching materials sourced from Helvy Tiada Rosa's short story for grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Galang Deli Serdang Regency for the 2023-2024 Learning Year. This research method uses the development of the R&D cycle of Borg and Gall. The steps in this study are data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, usage trial, product revision, and mass results. His research instruments are non-tests and tests. Research uses material experts to validate teaching materials. Data analysis techniques with descriptive analysis. The results of the development of critical reading skills teaching materials containing moral messages sourced from Helvy Tiada Rosa's short story for grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Galang are included in the "Good" category. The results of the validation of the development of literary appreciation teaching materials on the aspect of teaching material are 3, as a whole can be categorized as "Good". Based on the effectiveness of development using validated teaching materials, it was found that the skills to distinguish opinions and facts, the skills to distinguish reality and fantasy, the skills to follow instructions, the skills to find elements of propaganda, the skills to assess the integrity of ideas in the category are very good.

Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution has brought about major changes in how we live and labor, specifically affecting family dynamics. This abstract explores how families adjust to these changes to maintain productivity and well-being in the digital age. We concentrate on the effects of technology adoption on the labor market and the necessary skills, including automation, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Adapting abilities to stay professionally relevant and maintain social-emotional balance in the face of evolving digitally affected interaction patterns is a major problem for families. This study emphasizes how crucial it is for families to adjust quickly in order to acquire new skills and maintain up good communication. We demonstrate how families can prosper in the digital age by effectively adapting. Families that recognize and solve these issues will be able to maintain their well-being in the face of swift global change.

Abstract

After leadership training has been carried out, Young Teachers will have and demonstrate leadership behavior skills that are ready to take on challenges and can inspire students and other parties. From the training activities carried out, it can be concluded that the extension participants felt happy and satisfied with the exposure given. This is because the participants gain new understanding and skills in demonstrating leadership behavior. Indonesia Mengajar is a movement whose main activity is recruiting, training and sending young Indonesians who are the best university graduates, to serve for one year in various regions in Indonesia as elementary school teachers. Apart from their basic duties as teachers, these Young Teachers have the mandate to drive behavioral change in their places of duty.

Abstract

In this digital era, political campaigns have experienced significant changes with the emergence of various social media platforms and digital technology. This phenomenon is no exception in the context of the 2019 presidential and vice-presidential general elections in Indonesia. Digital political campaigns have become an integral part of candidates' strategies in winning the hearts of voters and increasing their electability. In this analysis, we evaluate the effectiveness of digital political campaigns in increasing the electability of prospective candidates in the 2019 presidential and vice-presidential general elections. We identify the strategies and tactics used by candidates and their campaign teams in utilizing digital technology to achieve their political goals, as well as the impact digital political campaigns on public perception and the final results of the general election. Using qualitative analysis methods, we collect data from various social media platforms and apply content analysis to understand the influence of digital political campaigns. The research results show that digital political campaigns have a significant impact in increasing the electability of prospective candidates, by increasing visibility, recognition and interaction with voters through social media. In addition, we also discuss other factors that influence election outcomes, such as the participation of young voters, the potential for polarization, and the influence of dynastic politics. Thus, this analysis provides in-depth insight into the role of digital technology in contemporary politics and its implications for democracy and the general election process in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how students' emotional regulation is studied in psychology. The period of emotional development of students in their teenage years is a transitional period that is very vulnerable and requires guidance to be able to control emotions. Emotions are a very dangerous mental disorder. We will discuss several important aspects, including the types of emotion regulation strategies commonly used by students, campus environmental factors that influence emotion regulation, and the impact of emotion regulation on students' psychological well-being and academic achievement. Students often face complex academic, social, and emotional stress in the campus environment, so their ability to manage their emotions is critical to their well-being and academic success. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this research were students at the Indah Medan College of Health Sciences. The results of the analysis using observation techniques. Through this research, it is hoped that there will be a better understanding of the role of emotional regulation in students' lives, as well as practical implications for the development of coaching and intervention programs in higher education environments.

Abstract

Islamic education is an important aspect of the MAN 3 Banyuwangi curriculum, which is now faced with challenges and opportunities with the development digital technology. In this era, digital literacy is becoming a crucial factor in facilitating the Islamic religious learning process in schools. Study This aim is to deepen the role deep digital literacy context learning Islamic religious education at MAN 3 Banyuwangi. With a qualitative approach, research This utilizes interviews, observations, and analysis content to explore how digital literacy influences and is implemented in Islamic religious learning in schools. Findings from the study This discloses that digital literacy plays an important role in increasing the quality of Islamic religious learning at MAN 3 Banyuwangi. Teachers use various digital resources, such as learning videos and Islamic religious websites, to enrich their experience. Study, student. Students are also actively using technology to look for information and discussion about the Islamic religion. However, there are also challenges related to accessibility, technology, and the development of digital literacy skills among students. This study also highlights the importance of integrating technology into the curriculum of Islamic religious education at MAN 3 Banyuwangi. By utilizing digital literacy effectively, schools can increase understanding and experience. Study students related to the Islamic religion.
