Abstract

This study investigates the impact of talent and knowledge management on the innovation performance of teachers at the Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) YAA BUNAYYA Gresik. Teachers play a crucial role in determining the quality of educational resources and their innovative performance is vital for advancing educational quality. Innovative performance involves the application of new practices and ideas to enhance education, which is heavily dependent on effective management strategies within the organization. Effective management to boost teachers' innovative performance includes the enhancement of both knowledge and talent management. Knowledge management refers to the systematic process of creating, acquiring, sharing, and utilizing knowledge to foster organizational learning and improve performance. When effectively implemented, this can lead to the generation of new ideas that drive innovation within educational institutions. On the other hand, talent management encompasses a range of human resource management activities aimed at processing and retaining an organization's human capital to maximize its output. This study used a sample of 35 principals and teachers from SDIT YAA BUNAYYA Gresik, applying the census method for data collection. Path analysis, supported by partial least squares (PLS) software, was employed to analyze the data. The results reveal that both talent and knowledge management have a positive and significant influence on teachers' innovation performance. These findings underscore the importance of talent and knowledge management as key factors in enhancing teachers' innovation performance. To optimize these aspects, school should focus on identifying, developing, and retaining teacher talent through systematic talent management processes. Additionally, schools should promote knowledge management practices such as knowledge sharing, organizational learning, and the effective use of information technology. In conclusion, improving teachers' innovation performance can be achieved comprehensively through strategic management of talent and knowledge

Abstract

The integration of literacy programs for children with language disorders requires different actions than those for children in general. This study is qualitative research based on a narrative approach through literature studies. Literacy programs train student in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, as well as in using and listening to language in speaking, reading, and writing. Literacy programs for children with language disorders are different from literacy programs for normal children because children with language disorders related to speech mechanisms, such as dyslexia, alexia, or dysarthria, as well as children with psychogenic disorders, such as stuttering, spoiling, or effemination, require special care in language learning. To improve their abilities, literacy programs must begin at a habituation stage. These literacy programs include early literacy, early literacy, library literacy, media literacy, technology literacy, and visual literacy

Abstract

Bullying remains a pressing issue in schools worldwide. To address this problem, we developed an innovative e-module that integrates storytelling, digital literacy, and interactive activities to prevent bullying among middle and high school students. This study evaluated the effectiveness of the e-module in fostering empathy, promoting digital citizenship, and equipping students with strategies to respond to bullying. Results indicated a significant increase in students' knowledge about bullying, their ability to identify different forms of bullying, and their confidence in reporting incidents. Additionally, the e-module was found to be highly engaging and enjoyable for students. These findings suggest that the e-module is a promising tool for schools seeking to create safer and more inclusive learning environments

Abstract

This study explores how classroom tasks enhance students’ communicative competence in English in a receptionist training program using Project-Based Learning (PJBL). By incorporating role-playing, simulations, and task-based interactions reflecting real-life scenarios such as guest greetings, check-ins, complaint handling, and local knowledge sharing, the program aims to develop four components of communicative competence: grammatical, sociolinguistic, discourse, and strategic. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through classroom observations, interviews, and document analysis and then analyzed thematically. The findings show that tailored classroom tasks improve students’ ability to use appropriate grammar and vocabulary, adjust communication to social contexts, organize coherent responses, and employ strategies to overcome communication barriers. This study highlights the critical role of classroom tasks in bridging the gap between theoretical learning and professional demands, offering practical insights for educators to design effective ESP curricula tailored to the hospitality sector

Abstract

This study examines the management of the Islamic Propagation Council of Indonesia (DDII) in the context of developing an Islamic society in Metro. In the era of modernization, Islamic propagation organizations face challenges in re-examining their roles and functions, especially when dealing with complex political and social dynamics. As a structural Islamic propagation institution, DDII has a strategic position in shaping the order of Islamic life through the approach of Islamic propagation bi al-lisān and bi al-hāl. This study aims to analyze three main aspects: the concept of Islamic propagation of DDII, Islamic propagation management in developing Islamic society, and the implementation of the concept of developing Islamic society in Metro City. Using a qualitative approach with a single instrumental case study method, this study involved participant observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. Key informants included the leadership of DDII Metro City, senior figures of the organization, religious figures, and the local Muslim community. The results of the study indicate that DDII has developed an adaptive and inclusive Islamic propagation model with a focus on strengthening aqidah, empowering the economy of the community, and optimizing the role of the mosque. In the digital era, DDII responded to the challenges by developing digital da'wah infrastructure and improving the competence of da'i in the use of modern technology. Despite facing various challenges, including the shifting role of da'wah organizations in the context of contemporary politics, DDII managed to maintain its position as a moral force that contributed to the development of Islamic society and the integrity of the nation. This study provides theoretical contributions in the development of structural da'wah management and practical contributions for stakeholders in optimizing the role of da'wah for the development of Islamic society

Abstract

Al Islam education is the foundation of all sciences in the formation of the nation's character, especially in school students labeled as Islamic. In this case, it is inseparable from Al Islam education for inclusion in elementary schools (SD). This study aims to analyze the concept of Al Islam education learning in an independent curriculum-based inclusion school in grade 2 of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kebomas, and analyze the application of Al Islam education learning in an inclusive school based on an independent curriculum in grade 2 of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kebomas. The researcher compiled this research using qualitative research methods, while the data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, and documentary techniques. The data analysis techniques used by the researcher are the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models, which consist of three stages: data representation, data display, and conclusions. From the data collection and analysis techniques used by the researcher, it was found that the learning of Al Islam education in inclusive schools does not prevent Al Islam education from being taught to inclusion students; that is, in the application of Al Islam education, there are things that must be adjusted to the abilities of inclusion students, which is also in accordance with the independent curriculum applied in the 2nd grade of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Keboma

Abstract

The Korean Wave has spread increasingly across various countries, with social media and peer groups serving as its primary channels of dissemination. Traditional values play an important role in adolescents’ decisions to adopt cultural elements from the Korean Wave phenomenon. This study aimed to analyze the influence of social media access, traditional values, and peer interaction on adolescents’ Korean Wave behavior. A quantitative research design was used, involving 100 adolescent Korean fans purposively selected from the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). Data were collected online using Google Forms and analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS. The SEM analysis results show that the Korean Wave behavior is influenced by social media access, traditional values, and peer interaction. Social media access and peer interaction were found to have a direct positive effect on Korean Wave behavior. Additionally, social media access had an indirect effect on Korean Wave behavior through peer interaction. In contrast, traditional values were found to have a significant negative effect on Korean Wave behavior. It is recommended that the government adopt creative strategies to rebrand local culture to remain competitive in the era of cultural globalization amid the Korean Wave phenomenon. Raising adolescents’ awareness and appreciation of Indonesian culture is also essential and can be fostered through school activities and the internalization of cultural values within families

Abstract

This research aims to explore students' experiences of joining an honesty canteen and how students interpret the existence of an honesty canteen. This study was conducted at SMPN 4 Nganjuk, which used qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity test technique used member checking, and the data analysis technique used descriptive narrative phenomenology. The results of the research show that students are enthusiastic about participating in the honesty canteen. Based on their experience, the existence of the honesty canteen provides positive value and makes it easier for them to carry out transactions, train their honesty, and require them to be honest and have a sense of responsibility for the trust they have been given. The meaning of the honesty canteen for students is that the honesty canteen provides motivation, awareness, and understanding of the importance of honesty and forms their habit of always being honest and responsible

Abstract

The objective of this descriptive qualitative research is to analyze the significance and religious purpose of the Upah-Upah Tondi tradition contained in the Batak Mandailing tribe. The data for this research are from the literature. The data sources of this research are journals, books, and articles about the Upah-Upah Tondi tradition. There are significant differences in the Upah-Upah Tondi tradition. They can be divided into the materials used and behavioral processes. The materials used in the Upah-Upah Tondi tradition are customized according to the level of illness. Ordinary illnesses typically involve the use of boiled eggs. Symbolically, a round egg, consisting of a yolk and white, represents the wholeness of the spirit and body.  Severe illnesses usually affect chicken and goat heads. Chicken is the most important requirement in this tradition because it symbolizes hope in the recovery process from the illness. Therefore, the behavioral process in Upah-Upah Tondi, like the rotation of the tray to the right, symbolizes goodness. Batak Mandailing people believe that good things come from the right, whereas the rotation of the tray to the right symbolizes goodness. The religious purpose of the Upah-Upah tradition includes the value of faith, gratitude, and connecting relatives

Abstract

This research and development (R&D) study aimed to develop, validate, and test the effectiveness of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) based reading comprehension materials for eleventh-grade students. Recognizing that reading comprehension is a critical yet challenging skill, this study addressed the need for more creative and effective teaching methods. OBE, which focuses on organizing the educational system around essential outcomes students must achieve, was employed as the foundational framework. The study followed the Borg & Gall R&D cycle. The population was students of SMK AL WASHLIYAH 12 SEI RAMPAH, with a sample of 15 students from class XI-1 selected as the experimental group. Data were collected through literacy studies, interviews, observations, group discussions, and documentation. Material validation was analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques, resulting in an average validity score of 4.1, indicating a "good" level of quality. The effectiveness of the developed materials was determined using the N-gain score. The results demonstrated a significant improvement, with an average increase of 9.13% in learning outcomes and a classical passing rate of 86.66%. The N-gain score of 81.94% further confirms the high effectiveness of the OBE-based materials. It was concluded that the developed reading comprehension materials are both valid and effective, making them a viable tool for enhancing English reading instruction and achieving defined learning outcomes.
