Abstract

Berbagai pendapat dari pemerhati pembelajaran sastra akhir-akhir ini banyak yang menyayangkan berkurangnya muatan jam pelajaran dan minat dunia pendidikan di Indonesia untuk pembelajaran sastra. Padahal dengan tegas Moody (1996:15-24)  menyebutkan bahwa pembelajaran sastra dapat (a) membantu keterampilan berbahasa anak, (b) meningkatkan pengetahuan budaya, (c) mengembangkan cipta rasa, dan (d) menunjang pembentukan watak. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa sastra merupakan sumber berbagai cita rasa, yaitu cita rasa moral dan sosial. Oleh karena itu, sastra sangat layak untuk menjadi sumber pembelajaran bagi peserta didik. Diharapkan mereka yang belajar sastra mempunyai tingkat moral dan sosial yang tinggi. Oleh sebab itu pembelajaran sastra sangat perlu untuk digalakkan kembali. Untuk menarik minat dunia pendidikan terhadap pembelajaran sastra perlu diadakan berbagai kajian terhadap pendekatan-pendekatan dalam pembelajaran, agar pembelajar dapat mengapresiasi sastra dengan tepat, sehingga tujuan tujuan pembelajaran sastra dapat dicapai. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang akhir-akhir ini banyak dibicarakan orang adalah pembelajaran kontekstual. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan kontekstual, Pembelajaran Sastra

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa  setelah menggunakan teknik tutor sebaya. Penelitian ini  terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan observasi dan refleksi.  Setiap siklus terdiri dari lima pertemuan dengan durasi waktu masing-masing pertemuan  100 menit. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa data hasil tes, hasil respon dan hasil observasi selama pembelajaran dengan menggunakan tutor sebaya. Instrumen pengukuran hasil  tes menggunakan kriteria penilaian GER untuk B1, sedangkan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa digunakan angket, sedangkan observasi menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa hanya sembilan mahasiswa (30%) yang kompeten pada tes awal, 21 (70%) tidak kompeten. Berdasarkan hasil tes awal dibentuk kelompok tutor sebaya. Setelah lima kali pertemuan diadakan tes sebagai akhir pertemuan ziklus pertama. Hasilnya 19 mahasiswa (63,3%) yang kompeten, termasuk tutor dan 11 (36,6%) lagi belum kompeten. Berdasarkan hasil ziklus pertama dibentuk kelompok tutor sebaya yang baru,  dengan menyebarkan tutor pertama dengan mahasiswa yang kompeten berdasar hasil tes ziklus pertama. Hasil tes pada siklus kedua menunjukkan 27 (90%) mahasiswa kompeten sedangkan tiga (10%) tidak kompeten. Berdasarkan hasil pada kedua siklus dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik tutor sebaya dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa semester lima tahun 2016 Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman Universitas Negeri Medan.   Kata Kunci: Teknik Tutor Sebaya, Kemampuan Menulis, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the development of Adobe Flash CS6 Learning Media on Short Story Text Learning based on local wisdom. This type of research is research and development based on the ADDIE development model. After going through the development process, a learning media produced Short Story Text based on Local community of the Batak Toba Class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa consists of 4 (four) main menus namely Learning Competencies, Short Story Materials, Learning Quiz and Profile. The results showed that (1) the validation of the material experts included aspects of content Feasibility assessment with a percentage of eligibility of 92.73% with a predicate of Very Good (SB), a Presentation aspect with a percentage of eligibility of 86% with a predicate of Very Good (SB), a Language aspect with a percentage of 100% and the title of Very Good (SB), the aspect of Graphic with a percentage of 90% with the title of Very Good (SB); (2) validation of media design experts includes aspects of the assessment of Guidelines and Information with a percentage of eligibility of 100% and the predicate of Very Good (SB), Operational aspects of Software with a percentage of eligibility of 100% and the predicate of Very Good, Systematic aspects, Aesthetics and Media Principles with a percentage of 98.40% and a predicate of Very Good (SB); (3) The results of the Field Trial of Teachers and Students obtained a response of 96.15% with the criteria "Very Good"; (4) Short Text Learning outcomes before using adobe flash CS6 learning media is 51 while Short Text learning outcomes after using adobe flash CS6 learning media is 81. The difference obtained is 58.23% from before and after using adobe flash CS6 learning media. So, it can be concluded that the quality of learning media made is "very good".

Abstract

This research is part of a development research entitled Development of Hybrid Learning Tools for Sprechen A2 Courses Based on Case Method and Team Based Project. This article contains the process of developing the assessment instruments carried out in the study, and the results of instrument analysis carried out by German language learning experts. This part of the study aims to produce a assessment of German A2 speaking skills based on case study. The development model adopted is the Thiagarajan 4D development model with stages (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. The stage that is carried out only until the third stage is develop, because it must first be combined with the material, so that it can then be published and disseminated. The development process resulted in a set of case method-based test instruments, totaling eight themes, one case each. Each instrument is equipped with an assessment rubric by adapting the assessment rubric of international standards. The research instrument was declared feasible for use in Sprechen A2 learning according to the validation results which showed an average score of 92 for all components of the question.

Abstract

This research aims to create Student Worksheets (LKS) using the Construct 3 application as a German vocabulary learning media at the A1 level for high school students. This study will employ a descriptive qualitative method. The process of creating the LKS utilizes Richey and Klein's theory, involving the following phases: (1) the planning phase, (2) the development or creation phase, and (3) evaluation phase. The data for this research consist of German vocabulary with themes "Hobbys" and "Die Familie" at A1 level, sourced from the book "Netzwerk neu A1 Kursbuch" published by Ernst Klett Sprachen GmbH in 2019. The application will be tested by media experts, and material testing will be conducted by native German speakers and instructional media specialists. The outcome of this research is a set of digital vocabulary games at A1 level for high school students and a book serving as teaching material for German vocabulary in high schools. The final output will be an article in a nationally and internationally indexed Journal or proceedings.

Abstract

This research aims to develop German-language digital comic media that elevates the Toba Batak folklore "Si Raja Opat Ama" using the Next G-Toon application. The research method used a quantitative descriptive approach, including data collection through an online survey to assess the level of reader satisfaction with digital comics and data collection related to Toba Batak folklore from various sources. The results showed high interest from readers in digital comics, with the majority positively assessing quality, safety, ease of use, and providing recommendations for this digital comic. Visualization of the story through images and German text facilitates understanding of context and sentence structure. In conclusion, the German-language digital comic about Toba Batak folklore proved to be interesting and effective in helping learn German and understand local culture. It is recommended to develop further digital comics that raise folklore or other local cultures as an effort to preserve cultural heritage and promote Indonesia's cultural wealth

Abstract

The development of learning media in this research is part of the development of Sprechen A2 learning tools based on the case method and team-based project. The development model used is the Richey and Klein (2007) development model with planning, development, and evaluation stages. This research produced five sets of vocabulary cards played in groups. This game trains vocabulary mastery according to the A2 theme and sentence formation. The development results were reviewed by experts and given input. The results of the expert review stated that the developed game cards are suitable for use with a score of 92 or with a category of excellent. This result indicates that the word game cards are suitable for use. Expert input regarding adding vocabulary sets will be carried out as further development. The game cards are then played alternately in the Sprechen A2 learning class according to the discussion theme. At the end of the learning process, a questionnaire was distributed to students to determine their response to the use of game cards. The questionnaire contains five questions, all answered with 100% agreement. This means that the student response is positive and worthy of further development

Abstract

Sprachbeherrschung is a study subject in the German Language education department in the faculty of language and art, Universitas Negeri Medan, which teaches four language skills completed by cross culture and social behavior. Therefore, the present study aims to develop teaching material for the subject of Sparachbeherrschung based on outcome. This development research is a qualitative descriptive study. The teaching material was develop based on semester teaching plan arranged in accordance with outcome-based learning principle. The development model used was Thiagarajan model consisted of four steps, i.e. defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The presented report only consisted three out of four steps, in which disseminating was excluded. Defining step is the step of formulating the idea through need analysis. The designing step is the step of mapping the graduate learning outcome to the subject learning outcome which is associated to the result of need analysis. The developing step was carried out through the activity of material development and expert validation. The experts were three individuals with expertise in material development. the instrument used was validated.  Instrument used was in form of questionnaire refers to likert scale. The result of expert validation indicate that the teaching material was suitable for use, with an average score of 90,0.
