Abstract

The application of transformational leadership style in an organisation is one of the strategies to improve employee performance. Leaders with transformational leadership style are able to bring the organisation to a better direction by inspiring and supporting the development of employee potential to achieve the vision. One of the other important factors that can affect employee performance is job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is the general attitude of an individual towards their work. However, the relationship between transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and employee performance sometimes looks ambiguous and inconsistent, so mediating variables are needed to strengthen and clarify the relationship between transformational leadership style, job satisfaction, and employee performance. Intrinsic motivation in this case can act as a mediator that connects between transformational leadership style, job satisfaction and employee performance. The purpose of this research is to see and analyse the influence between one variable to another that affects the performance of employees. The variables to be examined in this study are transformational leadership, job satisfaction, employee performance and intrinsic motivation as a mediating variable. The research method used in this research is quantitative. This study uses a questionnaire approach as a data collection tool that is distributed via an online questionnaire to employees of PT Bisma Aero Sejahtera. The research limitations in this study are that the survey was only conducted on employees of PT Bisma Aero Sejahtera located at the Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) Cengkareng, Soekarno-Hatta airport area and the period of this survey was only conducted within a span of one month.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived benefit and perceived risk on purchase decisions mediated by purchase intention in Alfagift application users. Perceived benefit refers to the benefits felt by consumers when using an application, while perceived risk relates to potential losses or uncertainties that may be faced. Purchase intention is the consumer's intention to buy, which is influenced by the perception of benefits and risks. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to collect data from Alfagift application users. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression models and path analysis to test the role of purchase intention as a mediating variable. The results of the study show that perceived benefits have a significant positive influence on purchase intention and purchase decision. On the other hand, perceived risk has a negative effect on purchase intention, but does not directly affect purchase decision without being mediated by purchase intention. Purchase intention has proven to be an important mediator in the relationship between perceived benefit, perceived risk, and purchase decision. These findings provide insights for app developers to improve perceived benefits and mitigate risks to drive consumer intent and purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of service quality and endorser credibility on the purchase decisions of prospective students at SMK Jaya Buana, a vocational high school in Tangerang Regency, with brand image as a mediating factor. The research employs a comprehensive design that includes validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing, using structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze the data. The findings reveal that both service quality and endorser credibility significantly influence purchase decisions, with service quality identified as the most critical contributor. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that brand image plays a vital role in enhancing the effect of these variables on purchase decisions, acting as a powerful mediator. The results suggest that improving service quality and leveraging credible endorsers can significantly boost a school's brand image, thereby increasing student enrollment. This research underscores the importance of strategic management in educational institutions to attract more students by focusing on service excellence, credible endorsements, and a strong brand image.

Abstract

The insurance penetration rate in Indonesia remains low and has even been declining, despite the significant role the insurance industry plays in supporting national development. Meanwhile, Generation Z is beginning to dominate Indonesia's demographic structure, particularly as the demographic bonus period approaches. Low financial literacy is often cited as a cause of the low attitude and purchase intention towards life insurance. Additionally, low perceived benefit of insurance is also known to influence Generation Z's attitude. Generation Z is also associated with behaviors that differ from previous generations. This study aims to identify the factors influencing Generation Z's attitude and purchase intention towards life insurance, focusing on financial literacy, perceived benefit, and demographics. The research method is quantitative, with samples taken from Generation Z residents in Jabodetabek who have income but do not yet have life insurance. The research instrument used is a questionnaire, with a total of 297 valid questionnaires collected and analyzed using variance-based structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that financial literacy, perceived benefit, and demographics have a significant and positive influence on Generation Z's attitude and purchase intention. Among these factors, perceived benefit emerges as the strongest predictor of attitudes towards life insurance. The financial literacy level of Generation Z in Jabodetabek is found to be adequate. This indicates that financial literacy does not directly translate into insurance literacy, suggesting that financial literacy is not the main cause of the low attitude and purchase intention towards life insurance among Generation Z in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the authority of the Integrated Assessment Team (TAT) in determining rehabilitation for narcotics abuse victims and to identify obstacles in implementing rehabilitation recommendations, especially for those undergoing legal proceedings. The research uses a normative legal method, supported by empirical data, relying on primary legal materials such as laws and regulations, and secondary materials like literature related to the authority of TAT. The findings show that the TAT holds a crucial role in recommending medical and social rehabilitation for narcotics abusers. However, several obstacles hinder the effective implementation of TAT's recommendations, including poor coordination among law enforcement agencies and the limited resources available to support the rehabilitation process. Additionally, the social stigma surrounding narcotics abuse further complicates the rehabilitation process. The discussion emphasizes the need for stronger inter-agency coordination and increased support for rehabilitation programs to ensure better outcomes for narcotics abuse victims. The study concludes that despite the TAT’s authority being clearly regulated, several implementation challenges remain, which require urgent attention to improve the effectiveness of rehabilitation for narcotics abusers within the legal system.

Abstract

Economic growth prioritizes building and strengthening sectors in the economic field by developing, improving and maximizing resources. The indicator used to see the macroeconomic conditions in a region is by looking at the Gross Domestic Product (GRDP) in the region. The purpose of this study was to determine the agricultural sub-sector included in the leading sector (base) and to determine the shift of the agricultural sub-sector in West Java Province and the classification of Klassen typology in the economic sector in West Java Province. This study uses secondary data in the form of the value of the Gross Regional Domestic Product of West Java Province and the Indonesian Gross Domestic Product at constant 2010 prices by business field from 2019 to 2023. The data is processed using location quentient (LQ) analysis tools, shift share analysis (SSA) and Klassen typology analysis. The results of the location quentient (LQ) analysis show that the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sector is a non-base sector in West Java Province. The results of shift share analysis (SSA) show that the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector has a positive influence on regional economic growth (Nij) of Rp. 12,925 billion, Industry Mix (Mij) of Rp. -5,183 billion and competitive advantage (Cij) of Rp. 910,074 billion. The results of the Klassen typology analysis show that the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector is a developed but depressed sector, so it is hoped that the West Java Provincial Government will accelerate growth by increasing output and absorbing more labor.
