Abstract

This study explores the influence of green practices, environmental consciousness on consumers’ willingness to visit shopping malls, focusing on Ayala Malls in Makati City. As environmental sustainability gains traction, malls increasingly adopt eco-friendly initiatives to attract and retain environmentally aware shoppers. This research specifically investigates how sustainability efforts such as waste management systems, energy-efficient infrastructure, and green open spaces influence consumer attitudes and visit intentions. The objective is to determine how environmental awareness and green practices contribute to consumers' shopping intentions, and which initiatives most effectively foster positive perceptions and behaviors. A quantitative research design was used, gathering data from 385 via a structured questionnaire. Regression analysis was applied to assess the impact of green practices and environmental consciousness on mall visitation intent. Findings reveal a strong consumer preference for environmentally sustainable shopping environments. Respondents highlighted visible recycling measures, bicycle parking, and active sustainability campaigns as key factors shaping positive mall experiences. These green features were significantly influenced by the increased likelihood of mall visits. The study underscores the importance of enhancing green initiatives within malls. Recommendations include simplifying waste management systems, introducing sustainable consumption incentives, and embedding sustainability in corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. These strategies not only boost consumer engagement but also support long-term business viability. Future researchers may consider examining the changing consumer behavior trends and asses the long-term business value of green practice.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the perceived usefulness of Google Scholar among Office Administration students in state universities, focusing on its role in conducting literature reviews. The research seeks to measure factors that drive students to use Google Scholar, associated with students' intentions to continue using the platform in their academic work. The study specifically gathered data from Office Administration students enrolled in state universities during the academic year 2024-2025. Findings from this research will contribute to improving digital literacy programs and enhancing students’ academic experience. The study revealed a significant correlation between the perceived usefulness of Google Scholar and students’ intention to use it. It shows that the multiple factors, such as efficiency in finding relevant sources, quick access to information, availability of up-to-date research, user-friendliness, and cost-free access, are associated with students' intention to use Google Scholar for their academic research, especially in finding literature reviews. The strong positive correlations across various aspects indicate that students who perceive Google Scholar as a useful tool are more inclined to integrate it into their research activities, prefer it over other academic databases, explore its advanced features, and recommend it to others. The findings show that while students find Google Scholar convenient and accessible, some struggle with navigation and accessing full-text articles. The study recommends further research on the platform’s long-term impact and how digital literacy affects its use. Future studies may explore whether targeted training improves students' research skills, offering insights for universities to better support academic success.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of shopping mall green spaces on customer revisit intention, focusing on the mediating effects of environmental awareness. A causal quantitative design was employed, using purposive sampling to collect data from 300 recurrent visitors to the Mall of Asia Sky Garden via a 5-point Likert scale survey. The data were analyzed using Pearson Correlation and Mediation Regression, with the significance of the indirect effect confirmed by the Sobel Test. Results indicated that all hypothesized relationships were supported, confirming highly significant positive correlations between Green Spaces, Environmental Awareness, and Customer Revisit Intention. The analysis established that Environmental Awareness partially mediated the positive relationship between green space quality and customer revisit intention. The study concluded that while green spaces directly fostered patronage, they also provided a significant psychological pathway by boosting environmental consciousness, which further reinforced customer loyalty.

Abstract

The expansion of application-based online transportation services has intensified competition across platforms at national and global levels, compelling companies to adopt strategies that foster long-term customer loyalty. This study examines the effects of CRM and service quality on customer loyalty toward Grab in Bojonegoro Regency, Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, in which data were collected through questionnaires distributed to Grab customers. The data analysis techniques included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using the t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that CRM has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Service quality is also found to have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, CRM and service quality simultaneously have a significant effect on Grab customer loyalty. The coefficient of determination indicates that CRM and service quality explain part of the variation in customer loyalty, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings underscore the importance of integrating CRM strategies and enhancing service quality in fostering customer loyalty within the online transportation industry. This study is expected to provide an empirical contribution to the development of service marketing management literature and serve as a practical reference for online transportation companies in designing sustainable customer retention strategies within both regional and global market contexts.

Abstract

Public–Private Partnerships (PPPs) are increasingly recognized as key enablers of sustainable innovation in India’s infrastructure sector. This paper examines how PPPs foster innovation in environmental sustainability, technological adoption, and stakeholder engagement across critical domains, including transport, energy, urban development, and smart cities. Through a review of literature and multiple case studies, we find that PPPs leverage private-sector expertise to introduce green technologies (such as renewable energy integration and advanced construction materials), improve service efficiency, and engage diverse stakeholders in infrastructure delivery. Case studies from India’s highway networks, renewable energy parks, municipal services, and smart city initiatives illustrate that well-structured PPPs can accelerate environmentally sustainable solutions while sharing risks and rewards between public and private partners. The findings are discussed in the context of sustainable development goals, and policy implications are outlined to enhance the role of PPPs as catalysts for innovation and long-term sustainability in infrastructure.

Abstract

Conflict and negotiation are key dynamics in modern organizations that influence the quality of working relationships, the effectiveness of collaboration, and the sustainability of performance. This study aims to synthesize the latest empirical findings on the relationship between conflict and negotiation through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA guidelines. A search of the Scopus database for publications from 2020 to 2025 yielded 1,030 initial articles, which were gradually selected until 10 core articles were selected that integrated conflict and negotiation in an organizational context. Descriptive and thematic analyses were conducted to answer three research questions: (RQ1) the influence of conflict and negotiation strategies on the effectiveness of conflict resolution; (RQ2) the role of emotional and psychological factors in shaping employee behavior; and (RQ3) the influence of social identity, organizational culture, and leadership support on conflict dynamics. The results of the study show three main findings: collaborative strategies are more effective than competitive strategies; psychological factors such as mindfulness and emotional intelligence significantly influence employee responses; and professional identity, organizational culture, and supervisor support play an important role in preventing conflict escalation and increasing the success of negotiations.

Abstract

The gig economy is crucial to Malaysia's labor market, notably in the Klang Valley, where gig workers significantly contribute to sectors like e-hailing and food delivery. Improved career satisfaction among these workers enhances global economic growth and productivity. The issue of inequality between formal and informal gig workers is increasingly recognized, highlighting the growing vulnerability of gig workers. The study focuses on factors affecting career satisfaction, including income, job security, social protection, and the working environment. The study uses a quantitative, descriptive approach grounded in assessing career satisfaction among gig workers. It analyzed survey data from 394 participants through SPSS, based on a non-probability convenience sampling method. A sample size of 394 was determined from an estimated population of 10,000 gig workers in Klang Valley, achieving a response rate of 98.5% at a 95% confidence level. Income stability (H1: t=6.256; p <0.001), job security (H2: t=3.390; p <0.001), social protections (H3: t=2.603; p=0.010) and supportive work environment (H4: t=-0.603; p=0.547) is a significant factor in career satisfaction. The Self-Employment Social Security Scheme (Act 789) has notably influenced the social protection of gig workers in Malaysia since 2017, offering valuable insights for policymakers and industry stakeholders to enhance career satisfaction and well-being, thus fostering sustainable growth in the gig economy.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial innovation on the financial performance of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) in Nekemte Town. As banking shifts toward revenue-oriented digital strategies, identifying high-impact technologies is essential. A census survey of 56 branch managers and vice-managers from ten branches was analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression (SPSS 26). Five innovation dimensions were evaluated: product innovation, process innovation, mobile banking, technology transfer, and remittance technology. Findings reveal that remittance technology is the strongest predictor of financial performance (β = 0.661, p < 0.01), followed by process innovation (β = 0.213) and mobile banking (β = 0.193). The regression model explains 92.7% of performance variance (R² = 0.927), indicating substantial explanatory power. The results suggest that profitability in regional markets depends largely on efficient payment and fund transfer systems. The study recommends expanding digital onboarding services and exploring blockchain solutions to reduce transaction costs and strengthen competitive advantage.
