Abstract

This research aims to understand how student organizations influence student learning achievement in Management study program students at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Tunas Pembangunan University (UTP) Surakarta. The sample taken in this research was 20 students. This data collection technique used a non-probability sampling technique with a voluntary respondent sampling method. Based on the results of the regression test analysis, it shows that with every existence of a Student Affairs organization there will be a decrease in student achievement in the UTP Surakarta management study program by -0.019. Based on the test value of the coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.000, it means that it can be concluded that 0% of student learning outcomes are not determined by Student Organizations, meaning that only the remaining 21.9% are influenced by Student Organizations.

Abstract

This research has the objective to analyze the influence of liquidity, profitability and capital intensity on tax avoidance practices. The research is conducted on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018 to 2021. Using the purposive sampling method, 19 companies were selected. Statistical tests conducted are descriptive test, classical assumption, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis test. All tests were performed by using SPSS version 26. This research shows that liquidity and capital intensity partially have an insignificant influence toward tax avoidance. Profitability partially has a significant influence toward tax avoidance. Furthermore, liquidity, profitability and capital intensity simultaneously have a significant influence toward tax avoidance.

Abstract

The capital structure, the ratio of total debt to total assets, significantly impacts a company's financial strength. This study on PT Nippon Indosari Corporindo (Tbk) reveals important insights. Firstly, firm size, growth opportunities, liquidity, and profitability collectively influence the company's capital structure. Secondly, these factors partially impact the capital structure. Lastly, firm size, growth opportunities, liquidity, and profitability strongly shape PT Nippon Indosari Corporindo (Tbk)'s capital structure. Companies should carefully consider these factors when determining their capital structure to enhance financial stability and shareholder well-being.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of Scarlett Whitening's product placement in the drama "Today's Webtoon" on buying interest with brand awareness as an intervening variable. This research uses a quantitative method with explanatory research. The sampling procedure is non-probability sampling using purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted on 272 respondents who had watched the drama Today's Webtoon and used Scarlett Whitening products. This research uses primary data, and the survey collects data through Google Forms. The type of research analysis is the path analysis method. Hypotheses are tested using T-Test and Sobel Test. The results indicate that product placement has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention with brand awareness as the intervening variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find empirical evidence on whether environmental social governance disclosure, investment opportunity set, and profitability have a positive effect on firm value. The population of this study are companies listed in the ESG Leaders Index and the Sri Kehati Index. This research is a quantitative study using secondary data taken from the company database on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a total of 78 observational data in the observation period 2020-2023. This research was statistically tested using a multiple linear regression analysis test. The results showed that environmental disclosure, governance disclosure, and profitability have positive effect on firm value. Meanwhile, social disclosure and investment opportunity set have no positive effect on firm value.

Abstract

The main goal of a sustainability report is to promote transparency among stakeholders like consumers and investors, allowing companies to assess their performance and identify areas for improvement. However, many companies overlook environmental impact, leading to practices that harm the environment. This study uses hypothesis testing to explore the connection between different variables. Data was gathered from all ASSRAT 2020-2022 companies using purposive sampling criteria. The findings reveal that consumer behavior significantly impacts sustainability report quality, as does stakeholder behavior. Understanding these relationships provides valuable insights for companies to enhance their sustainability reporting by incorporating feedback from various stakeholders.

Abstract

In the realm of digital marketing, understanding the factors that influence Online Purchase Intention is imperative for the success of advertising campaigns. This research investigates the specific elements shaping consumer intentions within the context of Skintific Advertisement on Instagram. This study focuses on the effect of the of five factors in SNS advertisement, namely; information, entertainment, trust, disturbance, and social interaction, on online purchase intention. The research was conducted on Skintific Instagram followers who have made purchases on Skintific products. This research was conducted quantitatively on 151 respondents. The method used is Structural Equation Model with SmartPLS 3.3.3 software in 2024. Statistical results after hypothesis testing show thathypotheses one, two, three, four five, and six are proven, and it can be concluded that information, entertainment, trust, disturbance, and social interaction all have a positive and significant effect on online purchase intention.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to identify internal factors and external factors that affect the business of PT ASSA Rent Lampung based on the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard. This research uses mixed methods, namely qualitative methods for data collection and quantitative methods for processing data. Data collection was carried out from September 2023 to December 2023 by interview and observation. There are 3 respondents in this study, namely the branch manager, the head of the marketing department, and the head of the finance department. The results of this study indicate that the financial perspective is the most influential component of the company's internal and external factors judging from the score obtained and shows that the company's position is in cell II which is a grow and build condition indicating that the company needs an intensive and integrative strategy in the form of market penetration.

Abstract

The food and beverage industry, a cornerstone of the national economy, is thriving in Bandar Lampung, notably through its rapidly growing MSME sector. Among these, the culinary business, such as Mamikeki Banana Nugget, stands out due to its high growth potential. This study examines the application of Blue Ocean Strategy in Mamikeki Banana Nugget MSMEs to address competition. Using qualitative descriptive methods, the study analyzes data through reduction, strategy canvas, and Blue Ocean strategy index. Findings reveal Mamikeki's success in differentiating from competitors via the Blue Ocean Strategy, though the price dimension remains in the red ocean. To improve, the business should evaluate pricing and enhance communication through taglines to clarify value to buyers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of word of mouth on the decisions of users of PT Flip Lentera Inspirasi Pertiwi, to determine the influence of brand awareness on the decisions of users of PT Flip Lentera Inspirasi Pertiwi and to determine the influence of word of mouth and brand awareness simultaneously on the decisions of PT Flip Lentera Inspirasi users. Mother Earth. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula. The population in this study was 178 consumers. The sample used was 64 respondents using questionnaire data collection techniques. The nature of the research used is quantitative associative. Data analysis methods used include validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression tests, multiple regression equations, correlation coefficient tests, coefficient of determination tests, and hypothesis tests. Based on the research results, word of mouth has a significant effect on user decisions, which can be seen from the results of the tcount test = 2.860, while ttable = 1.998 (tcount > ttable) with a significance level of 0.003 < 0.05, brand awareness has a significant effect on user decisions, which can be seen from the results of the tcount test. = 4.607 while ttable = 1.998 (tcount > ttable) with a significance level of 0.006 < 0.05.
