Abstract

This study analyzes the difficulties of learning Arabic among students of the Islamic Family Law Program at STDI Imam Syafi’i Jember and identifies the factors influencing these difficulties. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation involving students, Arabic lecturers, and academic staff. Informants were selected through purposive and snowball sampling techniques. The findings reveal that students experience difficulties in understanding qawaid (Arabic grammar and morphology), mastering vocabulary, and reading Arabic texts. Psychological barriers, particularly low self-confidence in using Arabic, also hinder learning. In addition, differences in educational backgrounds and the lack of an Arabic-speaking environment significantly affect students’ learning processes. This study contributes theoretically to qualitative research on Arabic language learning and provides practical recommendations for Islamic higher education institutions to develop more contextual and adaptive Arabic learning strategies suited to students in Sharia-related study programs.

Abstract

Public sector innovation has become an increasingly important topic in public administration due to the growing demand for adaptive governance, digital transformation, and improved public service delivery. However, the rapid expansion of the literature has made it difficult to identify the intellectual structure, major trends, and emerging themes within the field. This study aims to map the evolution of public sector innovation research through a bibliometric analysis of 534 Scopus-indexed publications published between 2015 and 2025. The analysis was conducted using VOSviewer to examine publication trends, influential authors, countries, affiliations, citations, and keyword networks. The results reveal a substantial growth in public sector innovation research over the last decade, with significant contributions from the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Co-creation, collaborative innovation, governance, and digital transformation emerged as the most influential themes, while recent studies increasingly focus on digital governance, technology adoption, transparency, and collaborative approaches. This study contributes by providing a systematic overview of the field’s intellectual landscape and identifying emerging research directions that can inform future studies and public sector innovation policies.

Abstract

Mosques have strategic potential as centers of community-based economic empowerment; however, their utilization in strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) remains largely limited to socio-religious functions. This condition indicates a gap between the existing potential and the actual practice of mosque-based economic management. This study aims to analyze the community empowerment model developed by the Baitus Shomad Grand Mosque in Tegalombo through the management of a rest area and MSMEs, as well as its impact on the economic independence of the local community. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with mosque administrators and MSME actors, and documentation. Data validity was tested through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that the mosque-based rest area is managed by providing business facilities, organizing vendor stalls, and offering continuous guidance to MSME actors. This model has proven effective in increasing local economic activities, expanding employment opportunities, and strengthening the business independence of the surrounding community. The study concludes that the integration of religious and economic functions through the optimization of mosque physical assets in the form of a rest area represents an effective, inclusive, and sustainable model of community empowerment. This model has the potential to be replicated in other mosques with similar characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Love-Based Curriculum (KBC) in the Madrasah Diniyah program, analyze the strategies employed by teachers in its application, and examine its impact on students’ religious competence at MTs Muhammadiyah Kemuning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through systematic processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of KBC is carried out through approaches of compassion, role modeling, and consistent habituation of worship practices. Teachers apply several strategies, including building emotional closeness with students, creating an enjoyable learning atmosphere, and providing continuous spiritual reinforcement. The impact of the implementation of KBC can be seen in the improvement of students’ ability to read the Qur’an, mastery of prayer memorization, and the development of more consistent religious behavior. In addition, there is an increase in students’ discipline, responsibility, and social awareness in their daily lives. These findings demonstrate that KBC is effective as a learning approach in strengthening students’ religious competence within the Madrasah Diniyah environment. This study provides practical implications for the development of compassion-based learning models in Islamic education. However, this research is limited to a specific contextual setting; therefore, further studies are needed to test the generalizability of these findings across different contexts and educational levels more comprehensively. Future research is also recommended to employ mixed-methods approaches, thereby strengthening the results, making them quantitatively measurable, and enabling more objective comparisons regarding the effectiveness of KBC implementation in various Islamic educational settings.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of technopreneurship-based strategic management in improving the performance of Smart Technology Internet of Things (IoT) E-Bike projects at PT Len Industri (Persero). A quantitative explanatory approach with data triangulation was employed by integrating perception-based assessments with objective project performance indicators derived from Earned Value Management, namely the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and the Cost Performance Index (CPI). Data were collected through questionnaires administered to project personnel and from official project reports. The results indicate that technopreneurship-based strategic management is implemented at a high level and has a positive and significant effect on project performance. All dimensions, namely productive, creative, innovative, and dynamic, contribute significantly to improving schedule adherence, cost efficiency, system quality, stakeholder satisfaction, and technological reliability. The consistency between subjective assessments and objective performance indicators confirms that project performance can be empirically verified and is not solely based on perceptions. This study concludes that integrating technopreneurship-oriented management with objective performance measurement enhances the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of IoT-based technology project management.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the stages involved in developing an advertising strategy for sensory play-based children's toys produced by CV Slimeday Indonesia. Slime, as the company's flagship product, is considered an effective medium for supporting children's motor development, particularly during the golden age of early childhood. The advertisement is designed to communicate the educational benefits of sensory play in a manner that is clear, engaging, and easily understood by consumers. The development process employs the STPD (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, and Differentiation) framework to create a targeted and effective promotional strategy. This approach facilitates the analysis of digital marketing strategies by considering demographic, psychographic, geographic, and behavioral consumer characteristics, enabling the identification of appropriate target markets and the articulation of the product's unique selling proposition (USP). As a result, the strategy produces well-directed and effective short-form video advertisements for digital platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and e-commerce video channels.

Abstract

This study examines the role of target costing as a cost reduction strategy in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies in Kyoto, Japan. The sector faces intense price competition, rapid product turnover, and rising operational costs, requiring firms to improve efficiency without reducing product quality. This study applies a qualitative systematic literature review. Relevant journal articles, academic books, and scholarly publications were identified through academic databases and search engines, screened using predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, and analyzed through descriptive qualitative analysis and thematic synthesis. The review focuses on target costing, cost reduction strategies, operational efficiency, profitability, and firm growth. The findings show that target costing is a market-oriented cost management approach that determines allowable product costs by deducting expected profit from the target selling price. Its implementation supports early cost control, reduces non-value-added activities and waste, improves operational efficiency, and encourages product and process innovation. These outcomes can strengthen profitability, price competitiveness, product development, and market expansion. However, the reviewed literature provides limited empirical and quantitative evidence on target costing implementation in FMCG companies, particularly in Kyoto. Therefore, the findings should be interpreted as a conceptual synthesis rather than statistically tested causal relationships. This study contributes to strategic management accounting by clarifying the links among target costing, cost efficiency, operational performance, profitability, and firm growth. It also recommends integrating target costing with value engineering, cross-functional coordination, supplier management, and reliable cost information systems.
