Abstract

This research is entitled "Vocabulary of Families in French Sign Language". The purpose of this study are to determine the stages in each gesture in signaling the family vocabulary in French sign language, knowing the pattern of sign language formation with the signs represented, and knowing the peculiarities contained in French sign language. This research used qualitative research methods. In this case, the writer uses Le Dico Elix dictionary in short videos with an average duration of 3 seconds in collecting the data. In the research, the writer used the theoretical basic of semiotics with the concept of the triangle of meaning proposed by Charles Sanders Peirce. Based on the analysis, the research shows that there are three types of vocabulary signs for family sign, namely alphabetical signs, physical characters, and activities. Then, the peculiarities of the movements used in the pattern of family sign formation.

Abstract

In the culinary industry, consumer loyalty can be achieved if the company is able to provide products, especially in the form of different foods or have product differentiation and also quality products and have a familiar brand image to consumers. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of product differentiation, product quality and brand image on consumer loyalty. This research was conducted at Kedai Serabi Pak Raja Negeri Lama with a sample of 96 people with accidental sampling technique. Primary data collection was carried out using questionnaires and measurement scales using the Likert Scale with five answer choices. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that (1) product differentiation has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty and (2) the quality of the product has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty and (3) the brand image has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty to the Traditional Cake Serabi Pak Raja in the Old Country.

Abstract

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Master Cash and Credit company took a number of steps to keep the company's business growth healthy. This study uses a quantitative approach to determine the effect of incentives and digital marketing on employee work productivity in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic in Master Cash and Credit companies. The results showed that the variables of incentives and digital marketing had a positive and significant effect. This can be seen from the calculated t value of each incentive-free variable of 3,274 and digital marketing of 2,441 greater than the table t value of 1,682. Then simultaneously also obtained the result of calculating F = 9.104 greater than the value of F table = 2.83 so that it can be concluded that independent variables have a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity.

Abstract

A basketball game with basic dribbling, passing, shooting techniques and one of the games that requires skill. The learning situation / condition for the majority of students has difficulties, this is because the learning pattern does not match the circumstances and abilities of different students, with a tendency to like to play, problem solving is needed. The purpose of this study is to increase the interest, activeness, and learning outcomes of basketball passing students of SMA Negeri 2 Penajam Paser Utara by applying inclusion or coverage methods that provide students' choices at the limit of their abilities. Research methods and techniques use class action research, the research subjects totaled 36 students of class XI.. The variables studied include methods, active interests, learning outcomes with a 2-cycle learning scenario. Each of them is designed in four stages; planning, action, observation and reflection. Data analysis uses percentage techniques, recording learning events through performance test instruments, and observations. The results showed cycle 1, the instrument of observing student activeness interest obtained an average score of 79.91 with a percentage of 74.36%, and the completion of the average results of individual student learning was 75.64, with a classical percentage of 66.67%. Because it has not yet reached the determination of the success indicator of 85%, cycle 2 is continued, and there is an increase in active interest with an average score of 85.47 with a percentage of 92.31%. for individual learning completion got 86.06, classically 89.74%. Thus through this learning process students have an interest, activeness in improving the learning outcomes of basketball passing with feelings of pleasure, joy and fun.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading competence of grade 9.4 students of SMP Negeri 4 Muara Enim for the 2019/2020 academic year by applying the Jigsaw technique cooperative learning model. This study applies a class action research model implemented in two cycles, each of which consists of two meetings. Each cycle applies the stages of planning, execution of actions, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were 30 grade 9.4 students of SMP Negeri 4 Muara Enim. An indicator of the success of this study if at least 70% of grade 9.4 students can achieve scores with the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM≥70). The results of the study in cycle II showed that with the application of the cooperative learning model, the Jigsaw technique was proven to improve student English learning outcomes. Although in the first cycle the average score achieved by students was 68.20 and only 17 students (57%) had achieved KKM≥70, but in cycle II the average score achieved was 74.10 with 22 students (73%) who had reached KKM≥70.

Abstract

This research was conducted on employees of the Pamong Praja Police Unit of Labuhanbatu Regency, with the aim of determining the influence of work responsibility, work environment and job satisfaction on the work productivity of staffers. This research uses quantitative methods with classical assumption test analysis techniques, multiple linear regression tests, hypothesis tests and determination coefficient tests. In order to facilitate the analysis process, an auxiliary analysis tool in the form of IBM SPSS 25 Software was used. This study has the following results: 1) Work responsibility has a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of employees in the Pamong Praja Police Unit, Labuhanbatu Regency; 2) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of employees in the Labuhanbatu Regency Civil Service Police Unit; 3) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity in the Labuhanbatu Regency Civil Service Police Unit

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas operasional aplikasi absensi online dan aparatur labuhanbatu information system (ALIS) terhadap Disiplin Pegawai Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Rantauprapat Rantauprapat dalam proses kegiatan kerja sehari-hari. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Rantauprapat Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, dan sampelnya berjumlah 70 orang yang diturunkan dari rumus Slovin. Selajutnya, penetapan responden dilakukan dengan beberapa kriteria tertentu (purposive sampling) agar memenuhi maksud dan tujuan penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terstruktur dan mendalam, selanjutnya temuan hasil penelitian disajikan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Gambaran kepuasan pegawai terhadap aplikasi absensi online dan aparatur labuhanbatu information system (ALIS) ditinjau dari segi kualitas aplikasi tersebut yaitu Easy of Use, Response Time, Reliability, dan Security dan segi kualitas Informasi absensi online dan aparatur labuhanbatu information system (ALIS) yaitu Akurasi, Ketepatan Waktu, Relevansi, dan Kelengkapan. Pada kenyataannya, ditemukan beberapa kelemahan dan hambatan dalam operasionalisasi Siakad yang dapat diatasi dengan melakukan sejumlah perbaikan dan inovasi.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif, yang menjadi tempat penelitian ini adalah Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kabupaten Labuhan Batu di Jl. Ujung Bandar, Rantau Sel., Kab. Labuhanbatu, Sumatera Utara 21412. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah pegawai Kantor Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kabupaten Labuhan Batu sebanyak 90 orang. Berhubung jumlah pegawai Kantor Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kabupaten Labuhan Batu sebanyak 90 orang (kurang dari 100 orang), maka semua pegawai diambil jadi objek penelitian.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu korelasi product moment, analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil analisis regresi diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 4,245 > t tabel 1,6629 ini berarti variabel Kompetensi (X1) berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai (Y). Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,075 > t tabel 1,6629 ini berarti variabel Lingkungan Kerja (X2) berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai (Y). Selanjutnya hasil analisis regresi diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,750 > t tabel 1,6629 ini berarti variabel Kepuasan Kerja (X3) berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai (Y). Hasil analisis regresi diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 4,182 > t tabel 1,6629 ini berarti variabel Keterlibatan Kerja (X4) berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai (Y). Nilai Fhitung sebesar 39,496> Ftabel 2,48 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kompetensi (X1), Lingkungan Kerja (X2), Kepuasan Kerja (X3), dan Keterlibatan Kerja (X4) secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (Y). Nilai R Square dari analisis koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,650 artinya kinerja pegawai (Y) mampu dijelaskan oleh variabel Kompetensi (X1), Lingkungan Kerja (X2), Kepuasan Kerja (X3), dan Keterlibatan Kerja (X4) sebesar 65%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 35% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This research purposed to investigate some impacts of the Quizizz application in reading comprehension at Junior High School students and selected a quantitative approach by using quasi-experimental method. Nonrandomized experimental group and control group design were applied in this research. Some participants were the second grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Tellu Siattinge. The instrument selected pre-test and post-test in experimental and control groups in the part of reading tests toward students. Then the result appeared the mean score of pre-test in the experimental group was 63.61, and the control group was 63.65. While the mean score of post-test in the experimental group was 82.84, and the post-test of the control group was 75.61. The independent sample t test analysis of post-test from both classes showed the value of significance (2-tailed) was 0.000, while the mean of Sig. (2-tailed) was lower than 0.05. This result showed that H1 was accepted, and H0 was rejected. The researcher inferred that there was an improvement to the ability of students for reading comprehension through Quizizz application.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur puisi dalam Kumpulan Puisi “Aku Ini Binatang Jalang” Karya Chairil Anwar. Jenis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library Research) yaitu dengan cara mengadakan studi lewat bahan bacaan yang relevan serta mendukung penelitian ini. Bahan bacaan yang dimaksud adalah puisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan struktural. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode desktiptif kualitatif. Deskriptif yaitu penggambaran atau penyajian data berdasarkan kenyataan-kenyataan secara objektif sesuai dengan objek penelitian, dengan cara menelaah secara seksama puisi yang diteliti. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data tertulis berupa tiga puisi yaitu: 1. Hampa, 2. Di Mesjid, 3. Diponegoro. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca catat.Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah srtuktur batin dan struktur fisik puisi yang terdiri dari tiga puisi yang masing-masing memiliki empat struktur batin yaitu: Tema, nada, perasaan, dan amanat. dan enam struktur fisik yaitu diksi, pengimajian, kata konkret, gaya bahasa, versifikasi, dan tipografi.
