Abstract

Background: As we get older, the ability to balance the body is decreased, which will cause health problems because the risk of falling increases. The effective exercise is needed for the elderly to maintain and improve their ability to balance the body. Aims: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of adding dynamic stretching exercise to the balance strategy exercise in improving balance in the elderly. Participants and Methods: This study was a randomized control trial with a total number of 24 elderly as subjects who were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria which were then divided into 2 groups. Group 1 was given dynamic stretching exercise and balance strategy exercise, and group 2 was given balance strategy exercise only. Exercise is done 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Results: The results of data analysis using the Paired Sample T-test showed that the results of p<0.05 indicated that there was a significant increase in the BBS score before and after exercise. The Independent T-test on the BBS score after exercise showed a p<0.05 which indicated that there was a significant difference in the post-test BBS scores between groups 1 and 2, where group 1 experienced a higher increasement of BBS score in balance compared to group 2. Conclusion: Based on the results of data analysis, the addition of dynamic stretching exercise to balance strategy exercise is more effective in improving balance in the elderly compared to balance strategy exercise only.

However, there was a significant relationship between Interprofessional collaborative practice and the quality of postoperative wound care management (p = 0.0001) and there was a significant relationship between Team Nurse Practice and the quality of postoperative wound care management (p = 0.014). The conclusion of the study was that there was a relationship between the medical team's interprofessional collaborative practice and the nurse's teamwork practice with the quality of postoperative wound care management in the postoperative inpatient ward of RSU dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. it is suggested that there is an increase in collaboration practices, teamwork and better management of surgical wound care in the service.

Evaluation of the quality of life of pregnant women can aim to improve the effectiveness of health services. Stress in the form of high anxiety in pregnant women can affect the pattern of fetal heart rate. The aim is to describe the effect of early stimulation of fetal growth and development on the quality of life of pregnant women and fetal heart rate. The research was carried out in September 2021 - May 2022 with locations in two Community Health Centers. Type of quasi-experimental research (before and after with control experiment design). The sampling technique was purposive with a total of 30 divided into two groups. Data analysis with ANACOVA. The quality of life score of the experimental group was 22.99 points higher than the control group (b = 22.99; 95% CI; 20.56 to 25.41; p < 0.001). Adjusted R2 = 95.2%. And the experimental group had a fetal heart rate score 0.14 points higher than the control group (b = 0.14; 95% CI; -0.03 to 0.32; p < 0.001). Adjusted R2 = 43.9% by controlling for the level of formal education and the score before treatment. The conclusion is that there is an effect of early stimulation of fetal growth and development on the quality of life of pregnant women and fetal heart rate.

Background: The most common Non-communicable Diseases found in the elderly. Complementary therapy as a support for medical therapy is needed during a pandemic like today. Hydrotherapy soaked feet makes blood circulation smooth, Benson's relaxation and dhikr produce a relaxed condition so that it can increase endorphins hormones, increase vascular vasodilation and lower blood pressure, improve pulse rate and oxygen saturation Purpose :you knoweffectivenesshydroson therapy and dhikr relaxation therapy on hemodynamic function in the elderly. method: Type of quasi-experimental research with pre and post test design without control design, the sample size is 38 elderly who are Muslim and suffer from hypertension. Bivariate data analysis with Wilcoxon and paired T-test. Results :there was a difference in systolic blood pressure before and after being given hydrotherapy and Benson intervention with dhikr with a P value of 0.000. There was a difference in diastolic blood pressure before and after being given hydrotherapy and Benson's intervention with dhikr with a P value of 0.032. There was no difference in pulse frequency before and after being given the hydrotherapy and Benson interventions with dhikr with a P value of 0.221. There are differences in oxygen saturation before and after hydrotherapy and Benson intervention with dhikr with a P value of 0.004 Conclusion:Hydroson therapy and dhikr relaxation therapy are effective for hemodynamic function in the form of lowering blood pressure and increasing oxygen saturation in the elderly. But it has no effect on pulse frequency.
