Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to diagnose kinesthetic intelligence possessed by students with the help of educational games so that they have perceptual abilities through observing motion symbols that have an impact on body language. Besides that, it can optimize its creativity as humanistic literacy, by utilizing data available on the web as data literacy. The use of educational games is expected to make students feel happy and comfortable in participating in learning (joyful learning). Learning by using educational games will make students feel that the activity they are doing is playing games, but actually they are learning something that has been planned by the teacher. This research method uses Research and Development or R&D procedures. However, in this study only at the design stage of the motion literacy educational game prototype. Sampling used purposive with a total of 10 school teachers who have cultural arts teachers with a background in dance. Data analysis techniques to ensure that instruments in the form of motion literacy educational games become reliable devices through qualitative analysis with experts. This research produced a motion literacy educational game prototype consisting of instructions on how to play, manual, and start playing. This game can diagnose kinesthetic intelligence, critical and creative thinking skills in learning arts and culture in schools, especially dance, so that it can predict students' skills in dance.

Abstract

Day by day, more and more teachers are recruited as teacher trainers. Changing work role from a teacher to a trainer requires them to adapt to new work responsibility and tasks. In this study, they are known as teachers-turn-trainers (TTTs). These newcomers need personal and work adjustment during the transition years. This article explores the relationship between the individual-related factors, job-related factors and organizational-related factors; and work adjustment of the TTTs. Self-administered questionnaires which contains 62 items were collected from the respondents and analysed. The need to study stems from the fact that the IPGs are experiencing changes in terms of vision and mission. Based on the Theory of Work Adjustment (TWA), this article reports the findings of the study. Results show that there is a significant relationship between work adjustment and two of the variables selected: Attitudes (.419) and Proactive Personality (.502). Based on Guilford’s rule of thumb, there is a positive and moderate relationship between both the independent variables and work adjustment. In the fast and competitive world, Malaysia is an aggressively developing country. The vision, mission and goals of the Malaysian Education system, need to be supported by many studies. While the body of research seems to be growing on work adjustment abroad, both qualitatively and quantitatively, the number of studies regarding work adjustment in Malaysia is still insufficient.

Abstract

The Relationship of Willingness to Learn And Encouragement of Parents With Medical Surgical Nursing Learning Achievement in The Undergraduate Nursing Program of Nahdlatul Ulama University, SurabayaThere are two types of elements that affect motivation: extrinsic and intrinsic factors. The challenge in this thesis is restricted to extrinsic factors—parental encouragement—and intrinsic factors—learning readiness. Based on the preliminary statistics, the average MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING value for the previous three years was low, at 0.68%. The purpose of the study is to examine how parental support and learning readiness relate to MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING learning achievement in UNUSA's Bachelor of Nursing programme. This study has an analytical design. There were 137 Bachelor of Nursing students in the class of 2011 during the fifth semester of the 2013–2014 academic year; 103 of them made up the sample. Proportionate stratified random sampling was employed in the sampling process. Parental encouragement and openness to learning are the independent variables. MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING learning achievement is the dependent variable. A questionnaire was used to gather the data, which were then subjected to a univariate ANOVA test with a significance level of α < 0.05. The study's univariate ANOVA test findings revealed that = 0.009, which led to its rejection. This suggests that there was a strong correlation between MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING learning achievement and parental encouragement and motivation to learn. The study's findings indicate that parental support and openness to learning are related to MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING learning achievement in the UNUSA undergraduate nursing programme. Students' willingness to learn optimally must grow if they are to attain effective learning outcomes.

Abstract

Breast milk is the most ideal food for babies. Breast milk contains all the nutrients needed for growth and development and is sufficient until the baby is 6 months old. The 2018 Riskesdas results reported that exclusive breastfeeding coverage in 2018 was 37.3%. This is still far from the target of 80%. Breastfeeding self-efficacy (BSE) is one of the factors that influence the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with breastfeeding self-efficacy in breastfeeding mothers. This study is a quantitative research cross sectional design. The population was all mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months in Sumberejo Village, Mojosari District, Mojokerto Regency, totaling 34 respondents. The independent variables in this study were age, education, parity, occupation, knowledge and family support. The dependent variable in this study is breastfeeding self-efficacy. Data collection was carried out using instruments in the form of questionnaires and BSES-SF. Research analysis using the Spearman test. The statistical test results showed that there was a relationship between family support and breastfeeding self-efficacy with a p value of 0.032, while for other variables the p value> 0.05 was obtained so that there was no relationship between age, education, parity, occupation, and knowledge with breastfeeding self-efficacy. It is expected that health workers always motivate families to provide breastfeeding support to mothers

Abstract

Pregnancy is a time of physiological changes, discomfort, and difficulty in adapting, leading many mothers to view it as unnatural. This research aimed to understand pregnant women's perceptions of physical changes during pregnancy. The study involved 39 pregnant women in the first trimester at BPM Titin Khamidah SST, Trowulan Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument and processed through editing, coding, scoring, and tabulating. The majority of respondents had positive perceptions (55%), with a small number (45%) having negative perceptions (45%). Factors such as education, age, employment, and information sources influenced these perceptions. A positive perception can reduce anxiety during pregnancy. To improve perceptions, respondents should regularly attend antenatal care (ANC) or read mass media, aiming to change negative perceptions into positive ones.
