Abstract

This research discusses the phenomenon of game online slot addiction, a case study of Cultural Anthropology students class of 2020 at ISI Padangpanjang. The aim of this research is to describe the factors behind and the consequences of the online slot game addiction phenomenon in Cultural Anthropology students class of 2020 at ISI Padangpanjang. The theories used are Alfred Schutz's Phenomenology theory and Dominic Strinanti's Popular Culture theory. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are field observations, interviews and documentation. The findings from this research are that there are several factors that make Cultural Anthropology students class of 2020 addicted to playing online game slot online, such as: high curiosity, trying out luck, filling in gaps, and a friendly environment. Then the consequences caused by gameslotonline addiction include dependency, lack of sleep and disturbed activities, not focusing on studying and talking dirty and rude.

Abstract

This study discusses the strategy used by kombi online motorcycle taxis in facing competition with base motorcycle taxis in Padangpanjang. The purpose of this study is to describe the background of people choosing base motorcycle taxis over combi online motorcycle taxis, as well as strategies carried out by kombi online motorcycle taxis to face the rampant competition of base motorcycle taxis in Padangpanjang. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques include field observations, interviews, and documentation. The theory used is Talcott Person's theory of Functionalism of Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration, and Latency (AGIL) Structures. The findings in this study explain that kombi online motorcycle taxis have several strategies to survive in the face of the rise of base motorcycle taxis in Padangpanjang. The strategies used by kombi online motorcycle taxis such as providing convenience in terms of access, security services, affordable prices, and socializing this kombi online motorcycle taxi to the people of Padangpanjang, as well as how to adapt amid the habits of the people of Padangpanjang who often use base motorcycle taxis and the presence of kombi as an online transportation service Those in Padangpanjang City certainly have certain goals in order to survive and be accepted by the people of Padangpanjang

Abstract

The research entitled "Local Wisdom Values in the Turun Karai Tradition in Sibuluan Nalambok Village, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province". The background of the Turun Karai tradition is to honor the birth of the Prophet Muhummad SAW. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of the Turun Karai tradition and what local wisdom values are in this Turun Karai. The theory used in this research is the theory of tradition in Soebadio's thinking and the theory of local wisdom according to Widieharto, Prasetyo and Kumalasari's understanding where this theory is used to understand local wisdom and local wisdom values contained in the Turun Karai tradition. This research uses a qualitative method. The results of this study explain the procession of implementing the Turun Karai tradition and the local wisdom values that exist in the Turun Karai tradition. The procession is carried out when the baby is one month old and has several stages, namely the first stage of preparation, such as decorating the house, cooking food and filling dulang. The second stage is the implementation of turun karai, bringing the child to the mosque then lowering the child's feet for the first time, conducting a procession of bargaining flour, distributing itak-itak, naming the child, mambuekan the child, cutting the hair, and mangupa-upa. The last stage is distributing singgang ayam to all members of the recitation and the invited guests eat the food that has been served. Furthermore, there are local wisdom values in the Turun Karai tradition, namely religious values, gotong royong values, aesthetic values, moral values and tolerance values.

Abstract

This research discusses the strategies of market traders in increasing sales amidst the rise of online shops. The aim of this research is to explain the obstacles faced by PasaAteh traders amidst the proliferation of online shops as well as the strategies of PasaAteh traders in increasing their sales amidst the current proliferation of online shops. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collected through field observations, interviews and documentation. The theory used is Modernization Theory by Walt Rostow. The findings of this research are that market traders experience obstacles in increasing their business amidst the current rise of online shops. Online shops have had an impact on sales in the market. Technological advances have brought major changes in the marketing realm which has resulted in people preferring to shop online with all the convenience it offers, thus making market traders face obstacles in the form of intense competition, lack of promotion and marketing, changes in consumer habits, limited product availability and product variations. Therefore, market traders must maintain their business and create strategies by updating business models, loyalty and discount programs, improving customer service and increasing products and product variations.

Abstract

This study discusses the strategy of weaving development in Balai Panjang weaving houses as an economic fulfillment of the people of Balai Panjang Village. The purpose of this study is to explain weaving as an economic fulfillment of craftsmen in whose development strategies are needed in overcoming the obstacles that occur. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques include field observations, interviews, and documentation. The theory used is Malinowski's Theory of Functionalism. Weaving which is used as cultural heritage also helps the economy of the community in Balai Panjang with the availability of job opportunities as craftsmen. Weaving at this time still uses traditional tools in its manufacture, causing several obstacles. Obstacles to weaving development include the difficulty of raw materials, low wages for workers, limited human resources, and the absence of promotion. The Industrial Office as the related agency that accommodates the sustainability of the Balai Panjang weaving house carries out several strategies including the procurement of raw materials, increasing the wages of craftsmen, regenerating craftsmen, and increasing promotion.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Malim Belief System in the Toba Batak Community in Air Kulim Village, Bathin Solopan District, Bengkalis Regency". The aim of this research is to describe the historical background, as well as look at the forms of rituals contained in the malim belief system in Air Kulim Village. The theory used in this research is Victor Turner's ritual theory which explains rituals. The method used is qualitative research. The data collection techniques are field observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are collecting data, reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the presence of this malim belief system originated from the Batak people in the North Sumatra area, which was spread by King Sisingamangaraja. Then King Sisingamangaraja gave a mandate to Raja Mulia Naipospos to lead the malim belief and disseminate the malim belief system. Until now, the malim belief system has developed into several areas in Indonesia, one of which is Air Kulim Village. Through a husband and wife who initially came to Air Kulim Village to migrate looking for work. In the Malim belief system there are several rituals that they still carry out today, namely: ceremony mararisabtu, ceremony martutuaek, ceremony pasahat tondi, ceremony mardebata, ceremony mangan na paet, ceremony sipaha sada, ceremony sipaha lima. Some of these rituals are still carried out by adherents of the malim belief system in Air Kulim Village as a form of worship to Debata Mulajadi Nabolon.

Abstract

This study discusses the unpleasant actions of buskers towards tourists in the city of Bukittinggi. The purpose of this study was to see the unpleasant actions of buskers towards tourists in the city of Bukittinggi. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques include field observations, interviews, and documentation. The theory used is the theory of differential association by Sutherland. The findings in this study are several unpleasant actions towards tourists in the tourist attraction area, as for the factors behind these actions are, the lack of busker education levels, environmental factors and low economic levels. Unpleasant actions against tourists such as forcing visitors to give money, and acts of harassment against tourist visitors in the city of Bukittinggi. This incident is often experienced by tourists who are on vacation in Jam Gadang, to overcome this, the security of the city of Bukiitinggi immediately intervened to the tourist site, to overcome these cases, so that tourists present in the city of Bukittinggi feel more safe and peaceful while traveling to the city of Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Hyperthermia occurs in up to 30–40% of patients with ICH and is associated with the highest morbidity and mortality rates. Primary ICH accounts for 85% of all ICH cases and is associated with high morbid­ity and mortality rates. ICH can lead to primary or secondary brain injury. The purpose of the study was to identify outcome related to hyperthermia on intracerebral haemorraghe. This literature review described four peer-reviewed journals based on inclusion criteria. The results of the analysis of the literature review found that outcome of hyperthermia are mortality and morbidity. Fever can contribute to subsequent brain damage following ICH, hyperthermia to worse outcomes in both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients at 3 months, but the underlying mechanism may differ. Fever is prevalent in people with ICH and is seldom linked with a definite infectious cause

Abstract

Thesis entitled "The Phenomenon of Divorcing a Wife Who Has Died in Nagari Silantai, Sumpur Kudus District, Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra Province". The aim of this research is to describe the types and implementation of talaq on deceased wives by husbands in Nagari Silantai, to be able to describe the impact on husbands if they do not perform talaq on their dead wives in Nagari Silantai, and the form of distribution of assets obtained during the marriage. The theory used in this thesis is the Phenomenological theory of Alfred Schutz. The method the author uses is a qualitative method, with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and communication. In Nagari Silantai there are two divorce cases that are carried out on wives who have died, the first is divorce divorce, and the second, back divorce. Divorce is carried out by the husband when the wife's body is about to be washed, or even before the wife's body is buried. Talak back divorce is carried out when the wife's body leaves the house and goes to the cemetery. Talak back is a divorce that is facing away from each other, talak back is the separation of husband and wife, because they no longer have the same goal. In talak back, the husband will be taken home to his parents' house by his relatives. After the divorce divorce has been carried out, the next step is to divide the assets obtained during the marriage.

Abstract

Background Aki (Mother Death Number) and Aki (Baby Death Number) are caused by pre-eclampsia. In 2021, there were 76,000 women and 500,000 babies die due to pre eclampsia.Based on the prevalence of such events then one of the interventions to reduce AKI and AKB is given a supportive educational system by providing education such as teaching, guidance and guidance, Such interventions can enhance knowledge in the attitude toward preeclampsia. The goal is to find out if there's an educational system effect on a pregnant mother's pre eclampsia at the hospital. Aura syifa self. This method of research is a categorical study with pre-perimental research designs and research methods of one group pre test and post-test. Sampling techniques use accidental technique so that they get 25 responders. Willcoxon test analysis shows a self-care supportive educational system effect on maternity pre eclamation with 0.000 significance in which < (= 0.05 ). Conclusion, studies have proved to have an effect on the immune system on the preeclampsia of the hospital's euras of self - euphemism. Suggest the next researcher is able to add common data regarding attitudes like factors that affect attitudes (personal experiences), the influence of others considered important and cultural influence)
