Abstract

Field Work Practice is one of the manifestations of students in implementing the knowledge that has been learned so far in the world of lectures. Field Work Practice aims to improve the skills of students in developing mindsets, adding ideas and insights so that later they produce a skilled and quality workforce. In addition, street vendors are one of the embodiments of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Service. Through this street vendor, it is hoped that students will be able to make a good contribution to society. Through this street vendor, the practitioner hopes that self-confidence can be built from an early age, because building self-confidence from an early age can have a good impact. Among them, being able to live his life in peace, always think positively and also of course will always be grateful for everything he goes through. Practitioners carry out street vendors using the casework method through their mini projects, namely instilling self-confidence from an early age with the stages of general or general intervention practice consisting of the assessment stage, program planning stage, intervention stage, evaluation stage, and termination stage. The purpose of this mini project is to achieve more life in the future

Abstract

The key to learning to read well and effectively lies in the ability to recognize letters. Recognizing letters is a fundamental stage of learning to read and communicate that is important to apply to early childhood. Many children at an early age are less motivated in learning to recognize letters. This is because most teachers still use the teacher center method, so that children quickly feel bored in learning. Besides, the lack of learning media makes children less understand the subject matter presented by the teacher. The most important letter introduction tips of all is to make the process of learning to recognize letters more fun and not boring, one of which is by using collage learning media. The purpose of this practicum is to improve the ability to recognize letters through collage learning media for early childhood at the Namira Orphanage. The intervention used in this practicum is a micro intervention using the casework method through general stages consisting of; Engagement Intake Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation, and ends with Termination.

Abstract

This writing started with a child who had problems related to mathematics, and here I am building his interest in mathematics so that the US is interested in mathematics. We both know that in this life, we are very close to mathematics. There are many competitions that always involve mathematics. From here we should already know that mathematics is very important in our lives. The US problem itself was related to mathematics which started when the teacher scolded the US for not being able to answer the questions given to the US. And here we also know that the role of a teacher is very important in influencing a child's interest. The intervention program that is suitable for use in this problem is the micro intervention by Skidmore in Adi, 2013, a case work consisting of stages, namely the Engagement, Intake, Contract, Assessment, Program Planning, Intervention, Evaluation, and Termination Stages. By using the skidmore method, the authors more easily solve client problems. Not only that, the approach taken by the author to children in institutions is also the right choice, and can be a reference for people in carrying out solutions and approaches like the author did. The author who helped the US in its problems hopes that the US will continue to love mathematics and can help children in institutions in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Self-confidence is an important indicator for self-development in success. Self-confidence is one of the factors that influence the high and low learning outcomes of children. A child who does not dare to show his interest and ability in learning will always be left behind in the lesson because he continues to feel hesitant to show it. In this case, it is important to cultivate a sense of self-confidence in the child in order to further increase the child's interest in learning. Various efforts were made to increase self-confidence in children, including YAFSI Smart Home children. Through the Practicum 1 activity which will start from March to June 2022, the author conducted a mini project on one of the YAFSI Smart Home children. In this Practicum, the method used is the Casework Method by Zastrow which includes Intake Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation and Termination. The tools used in the assessment are ecomap tools that help find the source of the problem in the client. The efforts made in this Practicum make clients feel an increased interest in learning because of their self-confidence. Because, the interests that children have will make them interested and happy with something they learn

Abstract

The problems faced by drug residents are not far from the reduced level of motivation in carrying out the recovery process at the Rehabilitation Homes. This is partly due to the saturation factor that makes them bored in carrying out the recovery process. The target to be achieved is to increase the motivation of drug residents to stay enthusiastic, focus on carrying out rehabilitation and not get bored in carrying out the recovery process. Because if the saturation continues, it can cause his recovery to be disrupted. The solution offered in practicum 1 for individuals (Casework) is through the application of punishment and reward in helping the recovery process. The intervention program used in this practicum is the Micro Intervention by (Skidmore in Adi, 2013) which consists of; Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Plan Implementation, Evaluation and Termination.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social service program for children at the Anugrah Kasih Abadi orphanage, evaluate the social service programs that have been carried out, and analyze the driving and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the children's social service program at the Anugrah Kasih Abadi Foundation orphanage. This research is descriptive. This study uses an evaluation method, the results of the study indicate that social services at the Anugrah Kasih Abadi Foundation orphanage are lacking. There are four types of services found, namely physical and health services, education services, mental spiritual services, and skills guidance services. Anugrah Kasih Abadi Orphanage is one of the privately owned orphanages that was established in 2008, the number of children in the Anugrah Kasih Abadi Orphanage is 61 people including 30 boys and 31 girls and 6 caregivers. The results of the study are that planning is carried out before the implementation of social service activities for children in orphanages. The involvement of all elements in planning is very important both, providing guidance and direction to foster children. Always supervised by both the caretaker of the orphanage and by the teacher who teaches.

Abstract

The role of parents for adolescents is very important in shaping the character of adolescents. Teenagers who are in orphanages cannot feel the role of parents because they do not have parents. One way that is done so that teenagers are in care is to accommodate these children into a container, namely an orphanage. The orphanage is one of the child protection institutions that functions to provide protection for the rights of children as representatives of parents in meeting the mental and social needs of foster children so that they have the opportunity to develop themselves until they reach a mature level of maturity and are able to carry out their roles as individuals and groups. citizens in social life. Anugrah Kasih Abadi Foundation Orphanage as a developer in shaping the character of children who are better with the strategies used by the orphanage. The results of the study indicate that the orphanage strategy in shaping the character of the child is by, (1) assigning tasks to foster children, (2) obliging the children to worship. The obstacles encountered in the character building strategy are: (1) The influence of children outside the orphanage, (2) Unruly nature and character.

Abstract

Reading is an important aspect of life. The interest of each child in reading depends on the motivation that is within him. Lack of reading ability often occurs in children, especially children sho are studying in elementary school. This also happened to several elementary school student at the Al Washliyah Binjai Orphanage. There is one child who fells left behind with his friends, namely F. Lack of motivation and confidence in F makes her not dare to start changes. The next step is to provide assistance by running a mini project that has been planned for 1st PKL which is currently being held. The method used in providing this assistance is the Casework intervention method. This Casework intervention method is carried out in several stage, starting with the engagement, intake, and contract stages. Then proceed with the assessment, planning, intervention, and end with the termination stage.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is an epidemic that occurs in various parts of the world. The impact caused by the pandemic is felt by all citizens in various countries. The Covid-19 pandemic is not only disturbing health, but has an impact on the economic order of all countries. The country's economic condition since March 2020 has plummeted, this can be seen from the recorded Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of -2.07% in 2020, whereas in 2019 GDP still grew to 5.02%. The decline in economic growth was also felt by small traders such as a resident who made a living as a flower seller in the city of Tebing Tinggi. The solutions offered in practical activities are several ways that the florist can do to increase his income. The stages used in the micro-level social intervention are the case work stages of skidmore which consist of the assessment stage, program planning, intervention stage, evaluation stage, and termination stage. In the study phase, I as a case woker began to build relationships with clients. At the case woker stage, I tried to explain and instill the understanding that it is the client who determines the results to be achieved later. In the case study stage the woker tries various forms of therapy (treatment), depending on the client's needs. The intervention phase is basically developed based on the client's needs. In this case the case woker can discuss choosing alternative solutions to problems with the client, the client is encouraged to develop his ability to overcome the problems he faces. While the termination stage is the stage where the relationship between the case woker and the client will be terminated. Termination can be stopped if it is seen that there is a change in the client for the better.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a major problem for the elderly involving a negative self-evaluation. One strategy to increase self-confidence in the elderly is to hone the skills of the elderly so that the elderly can be more productive so that they help the elderly adjust to the surrounding environment and so that the elderly can adapt well due to the aging process so that the impact of decreased self-confidence does not develop into psychological disorders such as depression. The same thing also happened to one of the elderly who lived behind the Padangsidimpuan City Social Service who needed help to increase his self-confidence again. The process of providing assistance was also carried out in the PKL 1 mini project activity, using the case work method through the general intervention stage consisting of Engagement Intake Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation and Termination.
