Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven changes in the financial system, including banking services that are now accessible to teenagers. One innovation in digital financial literacy is the use of BLU BCA Digital for Teens, which allows teenagers to learn to manage their finances independently. This KKN program was implemented at SDN 2 Sanur Kaja with the aim of providing education to 6th grade students about the importance of digital financial literacy and how to use BLU BCA Digital wisely. The method used in this activity is interactive education, which involves delivering materials, demonstrating the use of the BLU BCA Digital application, discussion, question and answer session. The result of the activity showed that students were highly enthusiastic in understanding the concept of digital banking and money management. With an interesting and age-appropriate approach, this education succeeded in increasing students’ understanding of BLU BCA features, such as creating digital accounts, recording transactions, and online transaction security. In addition, the role of teachers and parents also plays a role in supporting student’ understanding of the concept of digital financial literacy. This education proves that early digital financial literacy is very important for forming good financial habits, so that students are better prepared to manage their finances in the future.

Abstract

The sophistication of technology that facilitates all transactions does not make people aware of the zakat that they must issue. Even though it has been written in the Quran and the Law of the Republic of Indonesia, it does not make people who have met the requirements of zakat mandatory to just issue zakat. In addition, the public's ignorance about the zakat application that makes it easier for them, not all people know it. Like the people in Glonggong Village, Madiun Regency. This attracts academics to socialize about digital-based zakat management in the region. This socialization activity was carried out by inviting PKK women. These mothers are one of the actors who take part in financial management in the household. The activity was carried out by lecture and discussion method. But it is possible to receive discussions about the management of zakat outside of socialization activities on that day. The lecture method was carried out in the Hall of the Gronggong Village Office. This activity was attended by 25 women of the Glinggong Village PKK. The results of the implementation of the activity showed the high enthusiasm of the socialization participants. This is shown by the large number of participants who asked questions. This public enthusiasm is expected to be followed up by paying zakat digitally to make it easier for the community, the committee, and its transparency.

Abstract

This community service program presents an integrated approach to address stunting through optimization of milkfish utilization as a high-nutrition food source. Despite Tarakan's coastal area having fisheries potential reaching 2.3 tons annually, local health department data reveals stunting prevalence of 24.3%. This paradoxical situation stems from low fish consumption among toddlers (only 32% of WHO recommendation), mainly due to children's preference for instant food and parents' limited knowledge in attractive fish processing methods. The program implements participatory learning methods through three main stages: interactive nutrition education, technical fish processing training, and micro-enterprise development mentoring. Ten mothers and children actively participated in all activities. Evaluation results show significant cognitive improvement with post-test scores reaching 82 compared to 41 in pre-test. On skills aspect, 88% participants could produce quality-standard fish nuggets. The establishment of two business groups with average weekly revenue of Rp1.2 million demonstrates the program's tangible economic impact

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a key driver of the local economy. Businesses, particularly those in the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector, play a crucial role in creating jobs, increasing family incomes, and driving local economic growth. However, despite this significant potential, many businesses still face various risks that can hinder or even halt their operations, such as fire, loss of goods, accidents, or health problems.MSMEs remain relatively low aware of the importance of protecting their businesses through insurance. Many don't understand the benefits of insurance, consider it an additional burden, or aren't even aware that affordable insurance products specifically designed for small businesses exist. This leaves MSMEs highly vulnerable to unexpected risks that can result in significant losses, both financially and operationally.Through this community service activity held in Kemijen Village, East Semarang, we strive to provide insight and knowledge to MSMEs, the general public, and business owners so they have adequate insurance literacy. This activity helps the community understand the basic concepts of insurance, the types of insurance available, and the benefits they can obtain. With better knowledge, the community will be wiser in managing their finances and can consider insurance as part of their family's financial planning

Abstract

The number of seaweed farmers on Lemukutan Island is increasing, this is because people who were previously fishermen are also interested in this business. Seaweed cultivation businesses are divided into several types of activities, namely seaweed maintenance, seaweed drying, seaweed processing and selling processed seaweed. The time required for the seaweed drying process depends on the weather, because the drying process is under sunlight. This condition hampers seaweed sales and decreases the quality of the seaweed. A total of 15 participants who attended were able to understand the concept of UV sauna seaweed drying technology 90%, skills in the method of making UV sauna seaweed drying technology 80%.

Abstract

Creative entrepreneurship is a key factor in improving the economic well-being of the community, particularly among housewives. While mothers possess sewing skills, they have not yet been utilized optimally. Sewing skills have significant potential to be developed into creative businesses with economic value.Through this community service, participants, particularly mothers, will be motivated, equipped with knowledge, and skills to sew a variety of simple yet valuable products, such as tote bags, aprons, and decorative pillows, which can be transformed into entrepreneurial ventures. Furthermore, participants will be equipped with basic strategies for developing creative products and managing a small business, from product planning to simple offline and online marketing.Activities provided to the mothers of RT001 and RT002 from RW010, Kemijen Village, East Semarang, sewing skills can be beneficial and motivated, not just as a regular household activity but also to develop into independent and sustainable creative businesses. This program aims to foster a creative entrepreneurial spirit, increase the competitiveness of local products, and improve the family economy.

Abstract

The low reading interest of children in Sukaraya Village is a significant problem influenced by limited access to engaging reading materials and a lack of adequate literacy facilities. This community service activity aims to revitalize the Gandasari Community Reading Park (TBM) as a strategy to develop children's reading interest in Sukaraya Village. The program was implemented through three stages: (1) preparation, (2) implementation, and (3) evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in children's reading interest, reflected in increased visits to the TBM, participation in literacy activities, and the realization of better and more sustainable TBM management. Thus, the revitalization of the Gandasari TBM has proven effective as a strategy to foster a reading culture in Sukaraya Village while simultaneously supporting the improvement of the quality of non-formal education in the community.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide an understanding of the importance of financial reports for MSME actors in Renteng Village. Provide training and assistance so that partners are able to compile financial reports based on applicable accounting standards, implement them in their daily business. Based on initial communication with partners, information was obtained about the problems encountered, namely not understanding the importance and benefits of financial statements, not compiling financial reports that match accounting rules correctly, so that business developments are difficult to detect profits and losses. The solution offered is to provide training and assistance in the preparation of accounting-based financial reports. The implementation method used: lectures to convey the concept of the material, the practice of completing an accounting cycle in the form of cases, and providing assistance in the field. The results of monitoring and evaluation showed that the participants were able to absorb more than 55% of the training material provided. The participants also felt satisfied and saw that this training was important and useful. The results of the assistance in the field showed that most of the partners already had the understanding to prepare financial reports based on accounting principles with the guidance of the dedication team of the accounting study program lecturer at Bumigora University

Abstract

Through training on the use of drones for mining applications, Ketapang State Polytechnic started a community service program in an attempt to encourage the adoption of contemporary technology and the development of human resource capacity in the mining sector. In order to increase productivity, safety, and operational quality in the mining sector, this program seeks to provide local communities and alumni of Mining Engineering with technical skills in drone use. Drone technology, aviation safety and regulations, aviation methods, and real-world applications in mapping, mine inspection, and surveying are all covered in this class. Real-world case studies, field practicums, theoretical seminars, and continuous evaluations and debates are all part of the training technique. With this approach, participants are expected to be able to master drone technology and apply it effectively in various mining activities
