Abstract

This research examines the development of woven bamboo craft businesses in Nagari Koto Baru Simalanggang, Payakumbuh District, 1990-2022. The research aims to discover the development of woven bamboo craft businesses in Nagari Koto Baru Simalanggang and its impact on the socio-economic life of the local community. The method used in this research is a historical method with four stages of research methods, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the bamboo woven craft business in the village of Koto Baru Simalanggang, Payakumbuh District has existed for a long time, but the year it appeared is not certain. Woven bamboo crafts have developed in shape and model. In 1990, the form of woven bamboo crafts was still very simple. In 1995, the woven bamboo craft business began to improve and develop significantly. Woven bamboo crafts were initially introduced by Mom Desweni. The woven bamboo craft business is a business that has been passed down from generation to generation through non-official education route. Bamboo woven craft business can be used as the main job for craftsmen to fulfill their daily needs. Bamboo woven craft business has a big influence on the socio-economic life of bamboo woven craftsmen in Nagari Koto Baru Simalanggang. Level of Education, Level of social welfare , and the socio-economic life of craftsmen has improved significantly from the existence of this bamboo woven craft business.

Abstract

One of the most prevalent applications of exponential function involves growth and decay modes. Exponential growth and decay show up in a host of applications. From population growth and continuously compounded interest to radioactive decay and Newton’s law of cooling exponential function are ubiquities in nature. In this section, we examine exponential growth and decay in the context of some of the application. In the preceding section, we examined a population growth problem in which the population grew at a fixed percentage each year. In that case, we found that the populations can be described by an exponential function. A similar analysis will show that any process in which a quality grows by a fixed percentage each year (or each day, hours, etc) can be modeled by an exponential function. Compound interest is a good example of such a process. Other applications of exponential function are bacterial growth, bacterial decay, population decline are obtained in this project (see [1-27])

Abstract

The aim of writing this article is to look at corruption in the form of abuse of official authority in Indonesia. This article applies a qualitative method by applying a descriptive analysis system in presenting it. The data collection technique for this research is a library research library study sourced from various reading literature and previous research articles regarding corruption, a form of abuse of official authority in Indonesia. The rise in public officials caught in corruption cases is no longer a surprising phenomenon. Apart from allegations of self-enrichment, receiving gratuities and bribes, the status of corruption suspects is also given to those who, because of their policies, are suspected of causing state losses.

Abstract

Transforming organizational culture through continuous innovation is an important issue in the modern business context. This innovative approach plays a key role in shaping company performance, employee satisfaction and competitiveness in the global marketplace. This article explores the impact of transforming organizational culture through continuous innovation and provides insights into strategies and best practices that can be adopted by companies in facing the challenges of Industry 4.0. The research method used in this article is a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Through case studies on leading technology companies, this research seeks to understand how innovative practices are implemented and integrated into organizational culture. In-depth analysis of the case study provides deep insight into the process of organizational culture transformation through continuous innovation. The results of the discussion show that organizational culture transformation through sustainable innovation has a significant impact on company performance, employee satisfaction and competitiveness in the global market. Employees who feel supported in innovation tend to be more engaged and productive, while companies that have an innovative culture have a greater competitive advantage. Thus, transforming organizational culture through continuous innovation is the key to achieving growth and sustainability in the Industry 4.0 era.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of widespread misuse of information spread on social media. Therefore, this study aims to describe how the utilization of Twitter's "X" trending topic feature fulfills the information needs among students of the Library and Information Science major at Universitas Negeri Padang. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The research sample consists of 80 students from the Library and Information Science major, with data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents according to the research criteria. Based on the data, the study found that the utilization of Twitter's "X" trending topic feature among students of the Library and Information Science major at Universitas Negeri Padang is categorized as good, falling within the interval scale of 3.41 – 4.20. Additionally, the fulfillment of information needs among students of the Library and Information Science major through the utilization of Twitter's "X" trending topic feature is also categorized as good, within the same interval scale of 3.41 – 4.20. Thus, it can be concluded that through the utilization of Twitter's "X" trending topic feature, the information needs of students can be fulfilled.

Abstract

The curriculum is crucial in enhancing education quality. One way to demonstrate the quality of an educational institution is through accreditation. Accreditation is the process of comparing field facts with eight standards. This research aims to understand how curriculum management implementation improves education quality based on the 2020 Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP). This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews and document reviews according to IASP 2020. The results show that curriculum planning has been well executed, including regular meetings every semester with subject teachers and the curriculum team to discuss and determine school policies. Curriculum implementation is evidenced by providing support to teachers who experience difficulties in applying the existing curriculum. Curriculum evaluation has been well conducted in terms of input, process, and output aspects.

Abstract

Jambi is a province where most of its wealth comes from agricultural products,where these agricultural products must be processed first so that the raw agricultular products produced can become a product of higher quality and selling price which can be marketed and used well and efficiently.globally and for ordinary people,all of this can happen with the help of industry.menwhile,the waste produced by this industry causes pollution to the environment,one of which causes air pollution which result in various diseases for local peole such as respirstory problems and so on.This jurnal was written with the aim of to advise readers,especially the authorities,what efforts they can take to reduce the effects of industrial waste on air pollution.The data collection method used secondary data collection techniques take from the meteorology,climatology and geophysics agency.used to measure air quality in the form of the GAIA air quality sensor.the measurement result show that the level of air pollution in jambi is currently at a moderate level with an air quality index reching 89 AQI US compared to other regions in Indonesia.jambi is ranked 7th after pekan baru,riau.based on the air quality for jambi,it can be concluded that on June 15 2024 at 7 and 10 am and 12 to 1 pm the air quality is underhealthy as well as PM2.5 and for PM10 and ozone measurements it shows good value level.

Abstract

Indonesia's education policy is closely linked to other public policies and can change if public policies change. Education requires community participation to produce an effective learning community. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method located in MIN 1 Bandung. With the committee, some programs run smoothly, and socialization with students can be coordinated easily. The participation of the committee and other elements such as Polsek, Puskesmas, and local RT/RW received positive responses, especially with programs that involve interaction with the surrounding environment and habituation programs that create new habits in the school environment. Community participation or individual participation in the development of self, life, and the environment, which involves two-way interaction between the government and the community.

Abstract

Education plays a very important role in efforts to improve Human Resources (HR). One of the main factors of important activities in the educational process is learning. Interest in learning is an urge that comes from within the student himself to learn, so a feeling of interest arises which ends with a decision to learn within him. Where students have an interest in learning, these children tend to feel happy and interested in learning. Basically, choosing a learning model has a significant effect on increasing students' interest in learning, especially in Civics learning in elementary schools. The relevance of the learning model applied means that students' interest in learning in a class increases. One learning model that attracts students' interest is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model. This learning model is related to the way students are active in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of well water in Ujung Gurun Village, Padang City and the factors that influence it. The research method used is quantitative research by utilizing primary data taken from several well samples in the area. The parameters tested include pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), iron (Fe), manganese, and lead.The results showed that most of the water quality parameters have met the requirements, except for the iron (Fe) content which is in the range of 1.7 to 7.5 Mg/L, exceeding the set limit. Overall, the quality of well water in Ujung Gurun Village is quite good, but further processing is needed to reduce the iron content to comply with the applicable regulations.The factors that affect the water quality in this area are poor and clogged drainage, as well as the possibility of seawater intrusion. Improvement and maintenance of the drainage system as well as appropriate water treatment need to be carried out to improve the quality of well water in Ujung Gurun Village, Padang City.
