Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari kegiatan Pemetaan Kekuatgukur kekuatan destinasi unggulan di Indonesia yang memiliki kekuatan yang tidak sama antara satu dengan yang lainnya serta dapat memberikan gambaran bagi Pemda dan stakeholder terkait dalam mengembangkan destinasi MICE yang berdaya saing global dan berkelanjutan. Sehingga setiap destinasi MICE mempunyai profil masing-masing yang berbeda-beda dalam hal potensi. Sebagai awal pengembangan destinasi MICE, ada destinasi yaitu Jakarta dan Yogyakarta. Ada 9 kriteria dan 68 indikator yang dipergunakan untuk mendapatkan data pemetaan destinasi MICE di Indonesia. Dari data yang didapatkan, maka Yogyakarta mendapatkan score 3,34 dari skala 5, sehingga dikategorikan diatas cukup. Sedangkan Jakarta dapat dikatakan mendekati baik, yaitu dengan score 3,65 dari skala 5. Tahap selanjutnya adalah mendapatkan masukan dari expert judgement, dari para pelaku industri MICE (PCO/PEO/lainnya), yang sebagian besar berdomisili di Jakarta. Keyword: destinasi mice, Jakarta, Yogyakarta Abstract The purpose of this mapping activity of featured destination in Indonesia that has unequal power one and another then give illustration to local government and related stakeholder in globally competitive and continues MICE destination development. So that every MICE destination has its very own and unique profile in term of its potential. As the beginning of MICE destination development, there are destination such as Jakarta and Yogyakarta. There are 9 criterias and 68 indicators used to obtain the MICE destination mapping data in Indonesia. From the obtained data, Yogyakarta get the score 3,34 of 5, so that categorized as above of sufficient. Where Jakarta could be categorized as nearly good with the score 3,65 of 5. The next step is to get the feedback from the expert judgement from the MICE industry (PCO/PEO/other), where most of them located in Jakarta. Keyword: mice destination, Jakarta, Yogyakarta

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi penerapan Metode SOSTAC dalam strategi pemasaran UMKM Kerudung Cicalengka. Metode SOSTAC adalah kerangka kerja yang terdiri dari enam tahapan, yaitu Situational Analysis, Objective, Strategy, Tactic, Action, dan Control. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana penerapan Metode SOSTAC dapat membantu UMKM Kerudung Cicalengka dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pemasaran mereka. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi dan observasi, dengan data yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Metode SOSTAC memberikan struktur yang sistematis dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan strategi pemasaran, memungkinkan UMKM untuk mengidentifikasi peluang, mengatur sumber daya dengan lebih efisien, dan memantau kinerja pemasaran mereka secara teratur. Saran untuk UMKM Kerudung Cicalengka termasuk mendalami analisis pasar, meningkatkan kreativitas dalam strategi pemasaran, memanfaatkan teknologi digital secara efisien, dan berkolaborasi dengan pihak lain. Dengan mengimplementasikan saran-saran ini, diharapkan UMKM Kerudung Cicalengka dapat memperkuat posisi mereka dalam pasar dan mencapai kesuksesan yang lebih besar dalam pemasaran produk.

Abstract

The process of choosing a major plays a very important role in shaping the career and academic development of prospective students. Geographical factors and limited physical access can be an obstacle for prospective students outside the region to attend events held in person. In the digital era, technology and education have become a major unity as a tool of the present through the use of digital platforms. The talk show titled "Piljurian Talk #2" by Student Ambassadors of Select Majors aims to provide information about lectures in general, provide opportunities for prospective students to interact directly with speakers and experienced students, and create a more personal and in-depth experience. During the session, analysis and observation from the preparation stage to the evaluation stage showed an understanding of the production and logistics functions in the Piljurian Talk #2 virtual event management process. In the preparation, organizing, implementing, and controlling stages, the production and logistics of Piljurian Talk #2 were carried out in accordance with the plan that had been prepared.

Abstract

The uncertain global economy during the Covid-19 pandemic during 2020-2022 means that Indonesia must be able to adapt to these conditions. The government, through the Financial Services Authority (OJK), issued a policy that can provide stimulus to the economy in Indonesia, especially the banking industry, so that society is not burdened further in the limited situation at that time. Restrictions on community activities aimed at suppressing the spread of the corona virus have become a challenge for banks in Indonesia to carry out their functions as business entities that collect and distribute public funds. The research examines the influence of the BI 7-day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRRR) and inflation on Return on Assets (ROA) of commercial banks in Indonesia during the 2019-2022 period. This year's period shows the conditions in 2019, namely before the Covid-19 pandemic, during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely 2020-2021 and after the Covid-19 pandemic, namely 2022. The method used in this research is quantitative using secondary data from the OJK, using multiple linear analysis techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of implementing project-based learning (PBL) in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classes at a vocational university. The research was conducted within the Business English department, with a specific focus on students majoring in Event Management or MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) programs. The primary skill under investigation in this study is students' speaking abilities, particularly in the context of drama performance. A qualitative research approach was employed to explore the students' learning processes. Data collection methods included conducting semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, logbook entries, and evaluations of student performances, involving a total of 90 student participants. Subsequently, data analysis entailed an interpretation process and coding. the findings of this study reveal that the use of PBL in ESP classes significantly improved students' English-speaking skills, benefitting approximately 80% of the participants. Furthermore, the PBL approach not only enhanced speaking proficiency but also contributed to the development of discipline among students, motivating them to actively address learning challenges.

Abstract

The primary issues addressed in the community service initiative in Sukamandi Tourism Village, Sagalaherang District, Subang Regency, are the lack of understanding regarding sustainable tourism village management and the role of tourism awareness groups (pokdarwis), as well as the inability to utilize social media for promotion. The objective of this initiative is to enhance the quality of human resources in the tourism sector to support sustainable tourism village management and the use of social media for village tourism promotion. The method employed is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which involves stages of survey, coordination with village government, training, and evaluation. The training results indicate a significant improvement in participants' understanding of sustainable tourism village management, the role of pokdarwis, UMKM product packaging, and social media promotion strategies. This initiative is expected to encourage the development of sustainable tourism in Sukamandi Village, improve economic welfare, and preserve local culture and the environment.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of customer interaction strategies implemented during the virtual pre-event seminars of Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2024, with a focus on their contribution to enhancing trust and participation among international buyers. Employing a qualitative case study approach on the official organizer of TEI 2024, this research draws on data collected through participatory observation and documentation analysis of seminars targeting the Japanese, Dutch, and East African markets. The findings highlight that interaction models centered on direct dialogue with official government trade representatives—such as Trade Attachés and the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC)—serve as a critical factor. This strategy achieved up to a 90% participation rate, demonstrating that interactive sessions, particularly discussions and Q&A segments, significantly reinforce buyer trust. Implicatively, the study suggests that pre-event virtual strategies emphasizing authoritative interaction may serve as an effective model for international B2B event marketing, functioning as a catalyst to foster engagement and convert audiences into exhibition participants.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian mahasiswa kelas karyawan dalam memilih perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS) di Purwakarta. Metodologi/Pendekatan: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa kelas karyawan STIEB Perdana Mandiri, dengan sampel sebanyak 137 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linear sederhana menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 25. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produk dan harga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan mahasiswa kelas karyawan dalam memilih PTS di Purwakarta, di mana kualitas layanan pendidikan dan biaya yang kompetitif menjadi faktor utama penentu pilihan. Implikasi Praktis: Memberikan masukan bagi pengelola perguruan tinggi swasta untuk merancang penawaran yang relevan dan menarik, baik dari sisi kualitas produk pendidikan maupun strategi harga, guna meningkatkan daya tarik dan minat mahasiswa. Kebaruan: Penelitian ini mengkaji secara spesifik perilaku mahasiswa kelas karyawan dalam konteks pemilihan PTS.

Abstract

Background: Provide an adequate background covering the literature review and the gap of the research with other relevant former research works. Aim: This study aims to analyze the influence of market segmentation, price and interest in buying Batik Ciwaringin products, Cirebon Regency. Method: Data collection method using questionnaires to Ciwaringin batik buyers. The key informants in this study are consumers who buy Ciwaringin batik products. This research uses quantitative analysis techniques. Findings: The significance test t obtained market segmentation variable showed the t-count value = 3.772 > t-table = 1.996 with a significance value of 0.000<0.05. Thus, hypothesis 1 is accepted. The significance test t obtained the price variable showed the t-count value = 3.742 > t-table= 1.984 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, hypothesis 2 is accepted. The result for free variables (market and price segmentation) was 92,203 with a significant rate of 0.000. While the Ftabel value at ? = 0.05 is 3.13, the variables of market and price segmentation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on consumers' buying interest in Batik Ciwaringin. Thus, hypothesis 3 is accepted.
