(3) to describe the purpose of the Jaran Gading Tradition in Ngusaba Dalem. Tradition is a habit that is born in a certain area and has been passed down from generation to generation and has been carried out for a long time and then passed on to the next generation. Jaran Gading is a yellow/golden horse, while Ngusaba Dalem is an offering ceremony to Ida Bhatara Shiva as an expression of gratitude for all the graces He has given at Dalem Temple. This research is classified as qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document recording. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that (1) The ceremonial facilities used in the ceremony consist of the clothes used and the ceremonial facilities, namely in the form of banten which is presented to each palinggih. (2) The implementation process can be divided into 3 (three), namely: 1) preparation, which is the first activity before carrying out peak activities; 2) the core/peak procession of the event is the core event of the implementation of the activity; and 3) the closing is the last series of events that marks the end of the activity. (3) The purpose is to be a means of offering, a means of supplication, a means of expressing gratitude, a means of fostering a sense of brotherhood. Through this activity, it is hoped that Ida Bhatara Shiva, who is stationed at Dalem Temple , will be pleased to revive this universe and its contents, so that it can be beneficial for human life, and existing creatures, including humans, are given welfare and live well in carrying out their obligations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which product innovation influences consumer purchasing decisions at Ai-CHA Ice Cream & Tea in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta. Product innovation is considered important as it can affect consumer interest in choosing a product, especially amid the increasingly competitive beverage industry. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that partially, the dimensions of product quality and product variation have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while product design does not. However, simultaneously, all three dimensions of product innovation together have a significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions. In conclusion, product innovation—particularly product quality and variation—plays an important role in encouraging purchases. Therefore, it is recommended that Ai-CHA Ice Cream & Tea Pantai Indah Kapuk continue to improve both quality and variety, and evaluate product design to better match current consumer preferences.

Abstract

This study focuses on the important role of muthawif (tour guide) in accompanying Umrah pilgrims, both technically and spiritually. The purpose of this study was to analyze how much influence muthawif competence has on Umrah pilgrim satisfaction at PT. Arafah Mulia Insani located in North Jakarta. Muthawif competence in this study includes 6 dimensions namely knowledge, understanding, values, skills, attitudes, and interests. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a descriptive- associative technique. A total of 30 respondents were selected through a purposive sampling method. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale, and data analysis was carried out using 10 tests with the help of SPSS. The results of the study indicate that muthawif competence has a significant influence on pilgrim satisfaction, both separately and simultaneously. The dimensions of knowledge and skills are the main factors influencing pilgrim satisfaction. The researcher suggests that Umrah organizers continue to improve training and evaluation of muthawifs on an ongoing basis. Further research is expected to involve more respondents and more diverse variables.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between Drug addiction and factors such as adolescence, knowledge level, and life difficulties among teenagers in District 12 of Kabul city. The primary objective is to clarify how drug addiction among adolescents is associated with their age, awareness level, and life-related pressures. A sample of 140 adolescents from District 12 was selected for the study. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire consisting of 10 questions divided into two sections. The questionnaire’s reliability was confirmed with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.82, and its validity was endorsed by 8 senior academic experts. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 21. The findings indicate that drug addiction among adolescents in this district does not have a strong correlation with age. However, there is a significant association between drug addiction and life stressors. Additionally, the level of knowledge showed a moderate relationship with drug addiction. The study concludes that other contributing factors should also be considered in understanding the causes of drug addiction among adolescents. The results may serve as a valuable resource for families and relevant institutions to develop strategies aimed at preventing drug usage among youth.

Abstract

Kalimantan harbors endemic medicinal plant species with untapped therapeutic potential, yet scientific validation of their phytochemical profiles remains limited despite centuries of traditional use by indigenous Dayak communities. This study aimed to characterize the bioactive compounds in stem extracts of six Kalimantan herbal plants: saluang belum (Luvunga sarmentosa), sintok (Cinnamomum sintoc), pasak bumi (Eurycoma longifolia), akar kuning (Arcangelisia flava), kayu sutra (Fragraea racemosa), and nonang (Xylopia malayana). A Simple Randomized Design was employed with 70% ethanol maceration extraction, followed by qualitative phytochemical screening (saponins, steroids/triterpenoids, tannins), quantitative analysis (total polyphenols via Folin–Ciocalteu method, total flavonoids via aluminum chloride complexation), and GC–MS compound identification. Results revealed universal presence of tannins across all species, with triterpenoids detected in five species and steroids uniquely in pasak bumi. Saponins were identified in sintok, akar kuning, kayu sutra, and nonang. Total polyphenol content ranged from 1.78 mg GAE/g (pasak bumi) to 8.55 mg GAE/g (sintok), while flavonoid content was highest in pasak bumi (2.48 mg QE/g). GC–MS analysis identified benzenepropenamide derivatives (41.63%) as dominant compounds in sintok, with antimicrobial properties, and n-hexadecanoic acid (38.21%) in pasak bumi, associated with cardiovascular benefits. These findings validate traditional medicinal uses through molecular evidence and demonstrate that endemic Kalimantan plants harbor diverse bioactive compounds with therapeutic potential spanning antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and metabolic applications. The research provides a scientific foundation for developing standardized herbal formulations, supports conservation prioritization of high-value medicinal species, and contributes to Indonesia’s pharmaceutical independence through sustainable bioprospecting of indigenous botanical resources.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the sharing economy has reshaped entrepreneurial practices worldwide, yet its application in rural contexts remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the opportunities, challenges, and innovative potentials of sharing economy-based business models within rural entrepreneurship ecosystems in Indonesia. Adopting a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from small and medium enterprises (SMEs), village entrepreneurs, and local communities through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that sharing economy practices can enhance resource efficiency, foster community collaboration, and promote sustainable rural development. However, significant challenges persist, including limited digital literacy, infrastructure constraints, and regulatory gaps. This research contributes to the literature by extending the discourse on sharing economy beyond urban contexts and provides practical insights for policymakers, SME actors, and technology developers seeking to strengthen rural entrepreneurship ecosystems.
