PUSTAKALOKA: Jurnal Kajian Informasi & Perpustakaan is a peer-reviewed journal taken from the library of IAIN Ponorogo on Information and Library Science. PUSTAKALOKA is published twice annually (June and December) by the journal editors from the Library IAIN Ponorogo in cooperation with the Asosiasi Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi Islam (APPTIS) Jawa Timur. Every received article will be reviewed by the journal editors and external editors and reviewers who are competent in each related field. The review uses double-blind peer review before the journal is published. PUSTAKALOKA will publish selected paper under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 International License. And, every article is free of charge for authors and readers.

Abstract

Abstrak; Pentingnya mutu atau kualitas (quality) telah menjadi perhatian pengelola perpustakaan perguruan tinggi. Perpustakaan Nasional RI telah menyusun standar yang dapat dijadikan acuan minimal dalam penyelenggaraan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi yang berkualitas. Suatu bentuk formal pengakuan terhadap pemenuhan standar tersebut yaitu dengan pelaksanaan akreditasi perpustakaan. Akreditasi perpustakaaan bertujuan untuk memperbaiki perpustakaan yang diakreditasi sehingga bermanfaat untuk membangun kualitas perpustakaan. Sesuai amanat UU RI No 43 tahun 2007 dan PP No 24 tahun 2014, Perpustakaan Nasional telah membentuk Lembaga Akreditasi Perpustakaan Nasional (LAP-N).Sertifikat terakreditasi dapat diperoleh suatu perpustakaan berdasarkan jumlah nilai tertimbang dari komponen komponen layanan, kerjasama, koleksi, pengorganisasian materi perpustakaan, sumber daya manusia, gedung / ruang dan sarana prasarana, anggaran, manajemen perpustakaan dan perawatan keoleksi perpustakaan. Pengalaman Perpustakaan STAIN Kediri dalam melaksanakan akreditasi perpustakaan dengan menempuh langkah-langkah antara lain merencanakan kegiatan akreditasi, membentuk tim persiapan akreditasi, melakukan asesmen mandiri (self assessment), menyiapkan berkas pendukung, mengirimkan surat permohonan dan berkas data pendukung, melakukan penilaian borang, menyiapkan dan melaksanakan asesmen lapangan. Hal yang pokok dari sebuah akreditasi adalah budaya kualitas. Harapan untuk memperoleh nilai akreditasi terbaik terletak pada budaya kualitas yang dilakukan secara konsisten dan berkesinambungan.Abstract; The importance of quality has been a concern of college library librarian. National Library has compiled standards can be used as a minimum level college library quality. A form of formal recognition of compliance with these standards is by accrediting library. Accreditation aims to improve accredited institution so useful to build a library quality. As stipulated by Law Decree(UU) No. 43 of 2007 and Government Regulation (PP)No. 24 of 2014, the National Library has the National Library Accreditation Agency (LAP-N). Accredited certificate can obtain a library based on the number of components weighted values of service, cooperation, collection, organization of library materials, human resources, building / space and infrastructure, budget, library management and maintenance of library collection. The experience of STAIN Kediri library in carrying out the library accreditation including : make a plan of accreditation activities, form preparation team of accreditation, perform self assessments, set up support files, send a letter of application and data file support, assessment accreditation forms, prepare for site assessment and carry out the acreditation. The main thing is the accreditation is a culture of quality. Hope to obtain the best value of accreditation lies in the culture of quality.

Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada masalah strategi kunci untuk merajut inovasi dalam rangka mengoptimalkan kualitas pengembangan SDM perpustakaan. Merajut inovasi dengan terobosan embedded librarian menantang untuk diwujudkan. Untuk mengelola perpustakaan perguruan tinggi di era yang kompetitif perlu meningkatkan tata kelola manajemen perpustakaan dengan berfokus pada penguatan SDM perpustakaan. Integrasi pustakawan dalam lembaga, fakultas, kerja tim, serta berkolaborasi dengan civitas akademik adalah aplikasi kegiatan dari embedded librarian tersebut. Karakteristiknya seperti responsif, interaksi dengan komunitas akademik, memberikan kontribusi untuk menemukan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka, memiliki nilai tambah, maupun dengan berjejaring. Dalam praktiknya juga perlu membangun komunikasi ilmiah dengan semua civitas akademik.

Abstract

Problem of a quality of school education has always been an interesting theme for discussion. But one thing that is still unnoticed by the education experts is the problem of the role of libraries in schools. The library is important. Everyone acknowledges that, as well as importance of readning,. however people rarely think of how students are encouraged to like readning and make it as a culture. The education quality should be supported by an adequate library. Therefore, there must be a synergy among the various components of education in scholls to start readning habits from managing the library. This short article tries habits from how to empower the library that can  compel students to like reading very much so that it will impact undirectly on the improvement of education quality in school.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTren masyarakat modern saat ini lebih senang membaca, belajar, dan berkumpul, sambil nongkrong ditempat-tempat hiburan dibanding harus pergi ke perpustakaan. Disisi lain, saat ini diberbagai pusat perbelanjaan seperti mall dan tempat wisata telah banyak didirikan public space dengan konsep mini library. Salah satu alasan masyarakat lebih memilih tempat tersebut dibanding perpustakaan adalah desain interior yang menarik dan aspek kenyamananya. Perpustakaan diharapkan mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan tren dan budaya masyarakat saat ini untuk menarik kembali minat pemustakanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep desain interior perpustakaan baik secara teoritis maupun praktis berdasarkan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain interior merupakan bagian penting yang harus diperhatikan pengelola perpustakaan. Desain interior selain untuk menarik minat kunjung pemustaka juga dapat meningkatkan minat baca, membentuk citra positif perpustakaan, dan menumbuhkan kepuasan bagi pemustaka. Selain memperhatikan aspek estetika, desain interior sebuah perpustakaan tetap harus memperhatikan aspek fungsionalnya. Inovasi perpustakaan berkonsep Post-Modern Space dengan tambahan cafe dan lounge dapat diterapkan dalam perpustakaan modern dengan tetap memperhitungkan tata ruang, tata warna, pencahayaan, sirkulasi udara, dan tata suara.ABSTRACTModern society trends today prefer to read, study, and gather, while hanging out in places of entertainment rather than having to go to the library. On the other hand, currently in various shopping centers such as malls and tourist attractions have been established many public space with the concept of a mini library. One reason people prefer that place compared to the library is the attractive interior design and comfort aspects. Libraries are expected to adapt to the current trends and culture of society to reclaim the interests of its librarians. This study aims to explain the concept of library interior design both theoretically and practically based on literature review. The results showed that interior design is an important part that must be considered by library managers. Interior design in addition to attract visitors visit can also increase interest in reading, forming a positive image of the library, and foster satisfaction for pemustaka. In addition to considering the aesthetic aspect, the interior design of a library must still pay attention to its functional aspects. Post-Modern Space concept innovation with additional cafe and lounge can be applied in modern libraries while taking into account the layout, color, lighting, air circulation and sound system.

Abstract

It is ironic when reog Ponorogo (traditional art) was claimed by outsider (Malaysia) be a public attention especially, and Indonesian people generally. But the more ironic when Ponorogo didn’t have a study center about reog Ponorogo particularly and history and culture of Ponorogo generally. Library of STAIN Ponorogo as a preserver of history and culture had a significaant role to do it. Ponorogo corner service in it will be a service to respond information about Ponorogo, and it would be potential and distinctive service than any other services on other libraries.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed everything a lot, as well as providing services. During the Covid-19 pandemic, all face-to-face services were eliminated. During a pandemic, services must continue and must not reduce the quality of service. Staff in agencies, both public and private, do various ways to keep providing good service. Creativity and innovation are highly demanded in providing services during the Covid-19 pandemic. Library of the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing Universitas Gadjah Mada to provide services to users by innovating service facilities, namely Doctor of Library. Doctor of Library online service to the academic community and alumi for requests for scientific information. Doctor Pustaka facilities are installed on the library website address http://libmed.ugm.ac.id. Hopefully, with the Doctorof Libary, requests for scientific information on the Covid-19 pandemic will still be well served.

Abstract

The key to use a knowledge treasury on library,especiallyschool library, is reading. And the process of reading a literature willbe maximal if it is done by interest in reading. In addition to havingmain duty, such as information, circulation and reference service,school library has a role to increase interest in reading of students.A lot of services of library to increase student’s interest in readingare thosewhich become part of learning process, services to increasestudent’s skill to explore information, and services to increasealibrary use. So, the library has many opportunites to increasestudent’s interest in reading. The main point in increasing student’sinterest in reading is a model from many parts, especially librarian.Those process will form a paradigm thereading is the main matterinlearning process.This essay will explore library’s role to increasestudent’s interest in reading.

Abstract

This research’s objective is to explains what impact libraries without walls have in library service and role of librarian. The research is qualitative research with literature study as the method. The results of the study revealed that several distance services emerged such as digital collection services, online collection searches, online webinars, dissemination of information and library news through social media and special services owned by certain libraries such as independent uploading for scientific works by users services and online plagiarism check services as well as the role of librarians in the concept of libraries without walls such as conventional roles, educators and influencers to increase literacy, technical librarians, and embedded librarians.

Abstract

Knowledge management atau manajemen pengetahuan di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi merupakan suatu sistem yang diaplikasikan karena kebutuhan akan suatu sistem manajemen informasi. Dalam karya ilmiah ini menyajikan kajian singkat kinerja perpustakaan perguruan tinggi berkaitan dengan implementasi knowledge management di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi. Pengkajian dilaksanakan secara deskriptif melalui kajian pustaka dan mengemukakan kinerja perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam knowledge manajemen. Hasil analisis, Pengetahuan yang dikaji perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam kaitannya dengan knowledge management meliputi: Pengetahuan manajemen perpustakaan, Pengetahuan terkait studi pemustaka, Pengetahuan tentang koleksi perpustakaan serta informasi di dalamnya dan Pengetahuan tentang fasilitas dan teknologi perpustakaan yang tersedia. Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi perlu berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan dinamis (upgrade skills) sumberdayanya, untuk mempertahankan keunggulan kompetitif mereka agar tetap relevan dalam jangka waktu yang lebih lama. Implementasi Knowledge Management lebih dari sekedar sebuah proyek, keberhasilan penerapan knowledge management membutuhkan pandangan jauh ke depan dan perencanaan.
