Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the problem solving method of the Polya model on learning outcomes about the story of the flat-waking class V students of Elementary School 1 North Pariaman. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with the results of several considerations. The instrument used is a test that is a description test. Data analysis techniques in this study used a prerequisite test in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence in the use of the problem solving model method on the learning outcomes of the story about the flat-building area of class V SD Cluster 1 North Pariaman. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% obtained tcount = 3.71 > ttable = 1.72. Mathematics learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group were higher than in the control group, indicated by the control group mean = 73.09 and the mean obtained by the experimental group = 87.18.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interest in the teaching materials used in elementary schools. The aim of the research is to produce valid and practical e-modules using Corporate Flip Pdf in supporting the successful implementation of the "Independence Curriculum" in Elementary School classes. This type of research is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model with the stages of analysis, planning, development, implementation and evaluation. The usefulness of digital modules is validated by validity tests and e-module practicality tests. Validity data sourced from learning material experts 79.09%, media experts 87.99%, language experts 90%, and expert practitioners by "driving teachers" 92%. The average validation score is 87.46% with a very valid category. The practicality test was obtained through a questionnaire given to teachers at 93.75% and students at 97.28%. The average practicality test result is 95.52% in the very practical category. Thus, the results of the study show that the e-module that has been developed using Flip Pdf Corporate is very feasible and practical to use in elementary schools.

Abstract

The low use of Android-based interactive learning media is the driving force behind this research. This study aims to determine the validity and applicability of Android-based interactive learning media in integrated theme learning in class V SD by utilizing iSpring Suite and Website 2 APK Builder. Development research (R&D) with the ADDIE paradigm is this type of research. The results of the media material validity test, media validity test, and language validity test all fall into the valid category with a combined percentage of 94.73%, 96.42%, and 87.5% respectively. The percentage of 87.5% for the teacher's response questionnaire and 94.04% was obtained from the results of the practicality test for the student's response questionnaire in the pilot school. The percentage of 87.5% for the teacher response questionnaire and 94.34% was obtained from the practicality test results for the student response questionnaire in research schools. Thus, the integration of theme learning in class V SD with interactive learning media based on Android using iSpring Suite and Website 2 APK Builder is valid and practical.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the improvement of student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning elementary schools. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative approaches. CAR is an action carried out by the teacher or together (collaboration) in the class by designing, implementing, observing and reflecting on actions using several cycles in a collaborative and participatory manner with the aim of improving and enhancing the quality of the learning process in the class. The research subject was 24 teachers and students at SDN 03 Padang Marapalam, Lengayang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, consisting of 14 male students and 10 female students. Student learning outcomes can increase if learning uses the PBL model, this situation can be seen from the results of observing the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in cycle I 86.11% increasing to 94.44% in cycle II. In the results of observing the implementation of learning, the percentage for observing teacher activity in the first cycle was 80.36%, increasing to 92.85% in the second cycle. Based on the observations of students in the first cycle, 80.36% increased to 92.85% in the second cycle.
