This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in learning to change ordinary and mixed fractions to decimal fractions. The teacher usually directly gives examples of questions that are formally solved and then proceed with the giving of exercises. So students are not motivated and are not interested in understanding the learning. The purpose of this research is to describe Mathematics learning by using the STAD Cooperative Learning model to improve student learning outcomes in class IV SDN 28 Batipuah Ateh Tanah Datar District. The approach used in this study is a qualitative and quantitative approach. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research includes: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, 3) Observation and 4) Reflection. Which consists of two cycles, namely in one cycle two meetings. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and tests, while the research instruments were observation sheets and tests in the form of objective questions and descriptions. And the subjects in this study were students of grade IV SDN 28 Batipuah Ateh Tanah Datar District. The results of this study are: a) Observation of RPP in the first cycle with a score of 80% and the second cycle with a score of 90%. b) The results of observations of teacher activity in the first cycle with a score of 85% and the second cycle with a score of 94% and on the aspects of students in the first cycle 82% and in the second cycle with a score of 94%. c) Learning outcomes of students in cycle I on cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects with an average of 73 and on cycle II with an average of 83. From the results of the research conducted it can be concluded that by using the STAD type cooperative learning model can increase activities and results student learning in learning mathematics in class IV SDN 28 Batipuah Ateh Tanah Datar District.

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the used of the Teams Game Tournament type (TGT) cooperatif model on the learning result of addition and subtraction of frantion on grade 5th elementary school14 AurTajungkang Tangah Sawah (ATTS) Bukittinggi. This research design is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study is grade5A SDN 14 ATTS as the Exsperiment class and grade 5B as Control class. The results showed that of the used of the Teams Game Tournament type (TGT) cooperatif model on the learning result of addition and subtraction of frantion on grade 5th elementary school14 AurTajungkang Tangah Sawah (ATTS) Bukittinggi. This is evidenced by the results of tcount4,06593 and t table at a significance level of 0.05 at 1.6725, so that t count> t table. Keyword :The Addition and Subtraction of Fraction, TGT

This research is motivated by the low of science learning result in class IV SDN 03 Pasar Amping Parak. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation and improvement of student learning outcomes on science learning by using skills approach for fourth grade students SDN 03 Amping Parak Market Sutera District South Pesisir Regency. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK). Research subjects are teachers and students of class IV as many as 25 people. The results showed an increase in the results of learning cycle I 72.41 good criteria, cycle II 85.17 with very good criteria, increased 12.76. Means, Approach The process can improve student learning outcomes on science learning in grade IV SDN 03 Amping Parak Market.Keywords: Results of Science Learning, Process Skill

This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between reading interest and learning outcomes in social studies learning. This type of research is correlational. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Gugus 3 Kecamatan Bonjol. This study uses Total Sampling with a total sample of 35 students. The instruments of data colletion used is questionnaire. The data analysis technique used by SPSS v16. Computer data analysis techniques consisted of instrument testing, analysis prerequisite test (normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis test).From the data analysis performed the Pearson Correlation value is 0.650 and r table is 0.344 with a significance level of 5%. The results of the calculation show that r count 0.650 > r table 0.344. The significance value obtained is 0,000 < 0,05. It can be concluded that reading interest has a strong / high relationship with social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri Gugus 3 Kecamatan Bonjol. The purpose of this research was to describe the increasing of the student’s ability in writing poetryby using animation image. This research was action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. The result showed that The teacher’s activity in learning of writing poetry using animation image increased from 59% in cycle I to 85% in cycle II. Furthermore, the student writing poetry ability increased in cycle II. Using animation image improved the student’s ability in writing poetry. Kata kunci: menulis, puisi, media, media gambar animasi

The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in student learning outcomes using the Cooperative Learning model Make A Match type in integrated thematic learning in class IV SDN 16 Koto Langang, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and 21 grade IV students. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results of this study are: (1) Percentage of RPP assessment in the first cycle 81.25% (B) Increased in the second cycle 92.5 (SB). (2) The aspect of teachers in the first cycle 82.5% (B) increased in the second cycle 95% (SB). (3) Aspects of students in the first cycle 82.5% (B) increased in the second cycle 92.5% (SB). (4) Student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average of 74 increased in the second cycle 81.93.

Condition of study of elementary school specially social science at the moment still using many model learn conventionally, student only becoming teacher and object only expecting student sit to be kept quiet, hear and note without asking for student find by self existing problems. As a result lackluster student oftentimes and feel saturated in study so that result of learning of lowering. To increase result and activity learn student in study of IPS conducted by research of class action by using model Cooperative Learning Tipe Group Investigation. From the research, the second cycle of cognitive learning outcomes with an average grade of 85.1, the number of students who complete 26 students and 3 students who have not completed the percentage of students passing grade is 89.6%. student learning outcomes of affective aspects with an average grade 85.8, the number of students who pass is 26 and who have not completed 3 students, with a percentage of 89.6% mastery learning students, and student learning outcomes of psychomotor aspect with an average grade 85, the number of students who pass are 26 students and 3 students who have not completed the percentage of students passing grade is 89.6%. Abstract The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement KPK and FPB learning outcomes with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach in class V SDN 06 Piai Tangah. This type of research is classroom action research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subject of research were teachers and fifth grade students of SDN 06 Piai Tangah. The results obtained in the form of the average cycle I to cycle II are as follows: (1) RPP 82.14% (B) to 92.85% (SB) with an increase of 10.71%, (2) Implementation of learning based on: (a) teacher activity 78.57% (B) to 91.06% (SB) with an increase of 12.49%, (b) student activity 73.21% (C) to 91.06% (SB) with an increase of 17 , 85%, while (3) student learning outcomes (3 domain) 71.48% (C) to 84.09% (B) with an increase of 12.61%. It can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can improve the learning outcomes of KPK and FPB in class V SDN 06 Piai Tangah. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in social studies learning using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model in class IV SDN 18 fields laweh padang lua, regency, in 25 students. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approach. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Student learning outcomes in cycle I on average 73.17 increased to 80.32 in cycle II. Thus, the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning in class IV SDN 18 Ladang laweh padang lua, regency of Agam.

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in learning social scienence using a constructivist approach in class V SDN 08 Campago Ipuh on students which amounted to 21 people. The research uses qualitative and quantitative approach. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK). Student learning outcomes cycle I average 80,30 increased to 90,06 in cycle II. Thus, constructivist approach can improve students learning outcomes in IPS learning in class V SDN 08 Campago Ipuh.
