Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of entrepreneurial characteristics and human resource competencies on the performance of MSMEs in Padang City. A total of 134 respondents were selected for inclusion in this study using the purposive sampling technique. This method allows for the selection of respondents based on specific criteria that are relevant to the research objectives. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial characteristics and human resource competencies positively and statistically significantly impact the performance of MSMEs in Padang City. Of the two independent variables subjected to analysis, human resource competencies were found to exert the most dominant influence on the performance of MSMEs, with a β value of 0.595. This suggests that the more proficient the competencies possessed by MSMEs, the superior the resulting performance. Further analysis indicates that enhancing human resource competencies, including technical knowledge, managerial abilities, and interpersonal skills, can directly enhance MSMEs’ operational effectiveness and competitiveness. MSMEs must implement continuous training and development programs to improve employees' technical, managerial, and interpersonal capabilities. Additionally, businesses must adopt cutting-edge technologies and business practices to improve operational efficiency. MSMEs should also collaborate more closely with local education and training institutions to gain easier access to relevant competency improvement programs.

Abstract

The management function in an organization is needed to be able to measure and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service activities carried out, so that the organization's goals can be achieved. This paper discusses the Analysis of Management Functions in Services at Optik Nusantara Jambi. This research aims to analyze the implementation of management functions at Optik Nusantara Jambi which have been running so far, whether they have been implemented well or have not yet been implemented in refraction and optician services. This research data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis used by researchers is descriptive qualitative which includes data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the management function in terms of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling indicators at Optik Nusantara Jambi is good in terms of health services because all forms of services carried out always refer to Operational Standards. The optical procedures that have been determined, and the implementation of the main tasks of each work unit, each part of the organizational structure, all elements and all staff have been carried out very well. Based on the results of this research, there are several suggestions that may be useful (1) Services at Optik Nusantara Jambi should continue to evaluate and innovate in their services to continue to meet the needs of Optik customers which continue to grow, especially with online sales and increasingly innovative market places. (2) Consider periodic restructuring of the Optik Nusantara Jambi organization. (3) Increasing training and continuous development for staff and Refraction Opticians regarding new optical technologies such as lens materials, lens design, understanding and other skills in Optician services

Abstract

This research design uses descriptive quantitative methods. The population in this study were consumers at Optik Minang Bukittinggi from 16 July to 19 July 2024. Data was collected through a research questionnaire using a checklist. The research results showed that respondents did not fully understand the importance of service quality on customer satisfaction. A total of 44 respondents (86.3%) were satisfied with the quality of service at Optik Minang and 7 respondents (13.7%) were dissatisfied with the quality of service at Optik Minang. Based on the results of this research, there are several suggestions submitted to (1) Optical Owners are expected to continue to maintain and improve the quality of service (2) ROs are expected to work professionally (3) Optical Refraction Academy is expected to be used as scientific information material in the field of Optical Refraction. (4) For future researchers, the author hopes that further research can be carried out with other independent variables so that more variables that influence consumer satisfaction at Optik can be identified.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze (1) the influence of brand image on Nadfa Mart customer trust. (2) The influence of price on Nadfa Mart customer trust. (3) the influence of brand image on the purchase intention of Nadfa Mart customers. (4) the influence of price on the purchase intention of Nadfa Mart customers. (5) the influence of trust on the purchase intention of Nadifa Mart customers. (6) The influence of brand image on the trust of Nadfa Mart customers.( 6) the influence of brand image on purchase intention of Nadfa Mart customers with trust as a mediating variable. (7) the influence of price on purchase intention of Nadfa Mart customers with trust as a mediating variable. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. Using purposive sampling, 120 respondents became the research sample. SEM analysis was carried out using the Smart PLS 4 tool. The results of this research are (1) there is a significant influence between brand image on Nadfa Mart customer trust. (2) There is a significant influence between price on Nadfa Mart customer trust. (3) there is a significant influence between brand image on the purchase intention of Nadfa Mart customers. (4) There is a significant influence between price on the purchase intention of Nadfa Mart customers. (5) There is a significant influence between trust on the purchase intention of Nadfa Mart customers. (6) There is significant influence between brand image on purchase intention of Nadfa Mart customers with trust as a mediating variable. Abstract

Educational leadership has a strategic role in determining the direction, quality, and success of education, especially in the modern era full of challenges. The background of this study is based on the urgent need for educational leaders who are able to respond to technological changes, social dynamics, and the demands of globalization. This article aims to describe how competent educational leadership can build a strong vision, face challenges, and improve the quality of learning at various levels of educational institutions. This article was written using a descriptive-qualitative method with a literature review approach. Data were collected from various sources such as scientific journals, books, research reports, and case studies that are relevant to the topic of educational leadership. The analysis was carried out to identify key elements of effective educational leadership, strategies to face modern challenges, and efforts to improve the quality of learning. The results of the study show that competent educational leaders have characteristics such as a clear vision, collaborative skills, and sensitivity to change. The main strategies identified include ongoing training for teachers, application of technology in the learning process, efficient resource management, and development of infrastructure that supports learning. With an integrated approach, competent educational leadership is able to create an innovative learning environment, improve student and teacher performance, and ensure that educational institutions can compete globally. This article provides practical recommendations for educational leaders in facing modern challenges and achieving educational goals optimally.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of leadership in the development and management of human resources (HR) in schools. Human resources are an important element that determines the effectiveness and productivity of an educational institution. This research aims to explore the role of leaders in managing human resources, especially regarding the challenges faced, the leadership strategies implemented, and their impact on improving the quality of teaching staff. The research method applied is literature study, by collecting information from a variety of relevant sources, such as books, journals and previous research. The research results show that quality leadership plays a significant role in creating a productive work environment, increasing the motivation of teaching staff, and optimizing the use of school resources. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of an adaptive and empowering leadership style to improve the overall performance of educational institutions.

Abstract

. The efficiency of educational leadership plays an important role in optimizing school resources to achieve quality education goals. This study aims to analyze the definition of effective and efficient leadership, the factors that affect the success of leaders in achieving goals, and the benefits of implementing efficient leadership, as well as effective leadership strategies in managing human and material resources in the school environment. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature studies. The results of the study show that leadership based on collaboration, transparency, and participatory decision-making has a significant impact on improving the efficiency of school resource management. In addition, the use of information and communication technology (ICT) has been proven to accelerate the administrative process and the appropriate allocation of resources. The study concludes that educational leaders who are able to integrate innovation and adaptive managerial approaches can improve school operational effectiveness while creating a productive learning environment

Abstract

An organization or institution needs a leader who can influence its subordinate members. A leader who has a good leadership spirit will be able to maximize his performance so that the desired goals can be realized. This research aims to find out the role of transformational leadership in improving the performance of teaching staff. Organizations and institutions need transformational leaders whose implementation, a leader can provide influence through modeling, motivation, inspiration and morals. This study uses the library research method to explore more information about transformational leadership style and its relationship to the world of education. This research produces an understanding of the definition of transformational leadership, principles, components, and knowing the advantages and disadvantages of this leadership style and also provides insight into the role of transformational leadership in improving the performance of teaching staff in the world of education.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial leadership has a strategic role in developing quality Islamic education. This kind of leadership is characterized by innovative ability, measured risk-taking, and competitive results orientation. In the context of Islamic education, a leader with an entrepreneurial spirit is able to create a strong vision, inspire the team, and optimally utilize resources to support the achievement of holistic educational goals. Entrepreneurial leaders focus on institutional transformation, particularly through the development of relevant curricula, innovative educational technology and strengthening an inclusive learning culture. With this approach, Islamic educational institutions not only act as learning centers but also as agents of social change. In addition, this leadership approach encourages close collaboration between various stakeholders, both internal and external, to strengthen networks and support educational sustainability. The proactive and adaptive attitude of entrepreneurial leaders is able to face the challenges of globalization and changing times. By prioritizing Islamic values as a moral foundation, this leadership ensures that the innovations and developments carried out remain in line with the main objective of Islamic education, which is to produce human beings who have faith, knowledge and noble character. Therefore, the role of entrepreneurial leadership is a key element in creating an Islamic education.

Abstract

Employee performance is very important for the sustainability of an organization or company because performance can affect employee perspectives. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation, work environment, transformational leadership, work discipline and organizational culture on the performance of Puskesmas employees in Adiwerna District, to find out whether these factors affect employee performance. The data used in this study are primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sample in this study was 101 with sampling using probability sampling with the simple random sampling method. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS v.26. Based on the results of this study, it shows that motivation, work environment, transformational leadership, work discipline and organizational culture have a positive effect on the performance of Puskesmas employees in Adiwerna District.
