Abstract

This research examines factors influencing consumers' impulse buying behavior in social commerce. This study adopts a quantitative approach. The research was conducted in Indonesia. The research population is TikTok app users who frequently use the TikTok Shop feature. This study reports the responses of 303 respondents using non-probability and purposive sampling techniques. Data were primarily gathered through self-reported online questionnaires. Partial Least Square (PLS) was then used to test the hypothesized relationships. This study's results indicate that social interactions, parasocial relationships with digital celebrities, and sale proneness are proven to influence the urge to buy impulsively, resulting in impulse buying behavior. Our study highlights the importance of online social interaction, parasocial relationships with digital celebrities, and sale proneness in influencing the urge to buy impulsively, resulting in impulse buying behavior. To our knowledge, this study is the first to find what caused impulse buying in social commerce in Indonesia. Almost no previous research has examined sale proneness as a moderating role, especially in developing countries. Social commerce must focus on creating a conducive buying and selling environment in social commerce, creating healthy price competition with conventional business actors and MSMEs, limiting and preventing market monopoly, and limiting or even prohibiting the sale of cheap products originating from China.

Abstract

Women's problems seem to be a theme that society will never forget. This issue is further strengthened by the role of women which begins to roll along with the development of the times. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) noted that as of 2022 there are 133,542,018 female residents in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the relationship between workplace spirituality and flourishing in women, with an overview of job status. Through a quantitative approach with a correlational method, this study was conducted on 304 women in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, both working and non-working. The results showed that workplace spirituality had a positive effect on flourishing in women, and job status moderated this influence. Working women had higher rates of flourishing than those who did not work, suggesting that job roles provide meaning in daily life that affects psychological well-being. These findings emphasize the importance of promoting workplace spirituality in creating a balance between personal and professional lives, as well as improving women's psychological well-being.

Abstract

PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, the largest livestock company in Indonesia, was established in 1972 as PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Animal Feedmil Co. Limited. Today, the company is expanding with a focus on livestock activities such as broiler breeding, poultry slaughterhouses, and packing, processing of meat and poultry products, cultivation of broiler chickens, and a large trade in live animals and chicken meat. This study aims to identify the obstacles that occur in the process of shipping chickens, both experienced by farmers and by chicken expedition companies. In addition, this research also aims to improve livestock product delivery services by applying the Design Thinking approach. In the context of the livestock industry, the delivery of products such as live DOC chickens requires special handling, especially related to temperature and humidity, considering the vulnerability of DOC chickens to environmental changes. With a focus on partner logistics companies PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, namely CV. Joint Work. The researcher included the Design Thinking method. The results of this research are expected to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of livestock product delivery services, improving operational efficiency, and providing a better experience for stakeholders.

Abstract

Clean water is one of the important aspects that must be prioritized in urban planning. The higher the standard of living of the community, the need for clean water will also increase. However, the fulfillment of adequate clean water needs in Supiori Regency is still not optimal. Based on the Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 14/2010, the coverage of drinking water services in Supiori Regency is classified as poor, with a clean water service level of less than 50%. Optimization efforts are needed to optimize and distribute clean water services in Supiori Regency meet the target of clean water services and create a sustainable community life. The research method uses three types of analysis. First, the ratio of clean water services in the settlements of Supiori Regency was analyzed using a calculation method that refers to the standard of clean water needs and availability. Second, the analysis of clean water services was conducted based on community perceptions. Third, this study analyzed the factors that influence clean water services using multiple linear regression. Descriptive analysis was used to identify optimization steps. The results showed that the ratio of clean water services in South Supiori District only reached 30.38%, while in East Supiori District, it was lower, at 19.78%. Based on community perceptions, 93% of the population in South Supiori District and 75% in East Supiori District have not used the Water Supply System. Regression analysis shows that in Supiori Selatan District, factors affecting clean water services include pipe distance, community participation, and number of family members. In East Supiori District, the influencing factors are pipe distance, management, and maintenance of clean water. So, there are optimization efforts that can be done, among others, through mapping services based on regional conditions. For areas that are difficult to reach by SPAM services, the community can utilize the nearest water source to meet their clean water needs independently.

Abstract

Advertising plays an important role in influencing consumer perceptions and attitudes towards products, especially for well-known brands like Wardah. Advertising strategies help build a positive image and increase consumer interest. Research shows that consumers are more likely to buy products from well-known brands than lesser-known brands. Wardah, which is widely known by Germasa GPIB Petra women, allows consumers to recognize and create their image. Wardah's advantages include a halal guarantee from MUI and its availability in various online and offline stores. Quantitative research method This research examines the influence of advertising on consumer purchasing decisions based on syringe theory. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire are adequate (Cronbach's alpha 0.749). The analysis shows that the effect of advertising is very small (R² 0.030%). Although the T-test shows a significant impact (count 4.384 Table 2.0106), overall, the effect of advertising is not substantial (0.02958%). Internal and interpersonal factors are more dominant, so the syringe theory is not fully proven. Research shows that Wardah product advertisements have a significant influence on purchasing decisions (reliability 0.766 and 0.749). The hypothesis is accepted, but the R Square value of 0.030% shows a very small effect. GPIB Petra's female consumers rely more on personal experience and other factors than advertising, so advertising does not play a significant role in purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Suicidal ideation arises in individuals or groups who feel overwhelmed by pressure and a sense of hopelessness. Bullying is a significant factor that contributes to severe psychological and social impacts on both victims and perpetrators. The growing prevalence of bullying today requires special attention, as it not only harms the victims but also negatively affects the bullies themselves. This study uses the scale of the Relationship of Bullying Victimization to Suicidal Ideation (suicidal ideation) in students who are victims of bullying in Yogyakarta. The type of research used is correlational quantitative research. Quantitative research is a research method that aims to find out if the individual has experienced a victim of bullying that causes suicidal thoughts. Suicidal Ideation and Bullying are known to have a significance value of 0.736, where this value is greater than 0.05. So, it can be concluded that the two variables have a significant relationship or correlation with a strong correlation level. Victims of bullying can be open and seek help from their parents, close friends and family so that they do not experience the risk of suicidal ideation (suicidal ideation) or other effects of bullying. In addition, victims must have positive thoughts when they feel hurt so that they do not think badly to do suicidal ideation (suicidal ideation).
