Abstract

Height and weight measuring devices simultaneously provide ideal weight information that will be handy for users. This study aims to provide an instrument that can be used as a measuring instrument for height and weight and whether or not a person's body is ideal. Therefore, in research, measuring instruments that can simultaneously measure height and weight and provide ideal information or not measured weight. This measuring instrument uses Arduino Uno as its brain, ultrasonic sensors to measure height, and strain gauge/load cell sensors to measure weight. Arduino processes data from both sensors to get the ideal body weight (BBI). The height, weight, and ideal body criteria values will be displayed on the LCD. Furthermore, the speaker will issue sound information regarding the condition of body weight, namely ideal, fat, or thin. Based on the testing and data analysis results, the average error percentage value in height measurement is 0.45%, and in weight measurement is 1.65%. At the same time, the success rate of the appearance of voice information is 99%.

Abstract

In the context of building earthquake-resistant houses, the use of ferrosement technology can be an effective solution to face unique environmental challenges. The sustainability, strength, and earthquake resistance provided by ferrosement make it an attractive option in an effort to improve the quality and safety of buildings in areas prone to earthquakes. This study will use a comparative method to analyze the cost needs of building earthquake-resistant houses using Ferromen technology. The total cost of materials for ferrosemen houses with type 7 x 6 amounted to 69,783,571,131. The use of ferrrosemen technology in home construction offers significant cost efficiency potential compared to traditional construction methods. This is mainly because the raw materials used in fermenting, such as local soil and fiber, are generally more affordable and widely available. 2. Focus on Strength Ferrocement technology focuses strength on the foundation of the house which uses an inverted T foundation with woven concrete iron, which is much stronger than the river stone foundation. Although further research and local adaptation are still needed, the use of ferrrosement technology is promising as a more economical alternative in house construction. This can be a sustainable solution to improve access to affordable housing for people in various regions, especially in developing countries. However, it is important to consider factors such as soil conditions, climate, and availability of local resources in effectively implementing this technology.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) and Unconfined Compressive Strength Test (UCS) values as road foundation layers using local materials, namely Kinang Jingkion. The soil and Kinang Jingkion materials for the study were taken from the Apalapsili quarry in Yalimo Regency. Additionally, the additive or soil stabilizer used was matos obtained from the testing of soil characteristics, including sieve analysis or gradation, Standard Proctor Test for light density, and liquid limit test. After testing, it was found that the soil from the Apalapsili quarry is granular soil and can be categorized as A-1-a according to SNI 03-6797-2002. Subsequent testing involved CBR and UCS testing on Mix Designs made of soil and cement with concentrations of 4%, 6%, and 8%. Next, additional Mix Designs were created with compositions of Kinang Jingkion, soil, cement at 4%, 6%, and 8%. Further Mix Designs included compositions of Kinang Jingkion, soil, matos at 2%, and cement at 4%, 6%, and 8%. From the UCS testing results, Mix Designs with soil and cement concentrations of 4% and 6% did not meet the compressive strength criteria, with compressive strength values of 9.26 Kg/Cm² and 17.4 Kg/Cm² respectively. According to SNI 6887-2012, the compressive strength value after 7 days of immersion should be within 25-35 Kg/Cm², while other Mix Designs met the criteria of SNI 6887-2012. CBR testing also utilized the same Mix Designs, and the highest CBR result was obtained from the Mix Design with compositions of Kinang Jingkion, soil, cement at 8%, and matos at 2%, with a CBR value of 112%. According to the 2018 Revised General Specifications, a CBR value of 112% indicates a Class A Foundation Layer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's supervision competence on improving the quality of education in the driving school program at SMA Se-Jakarta Selatan Region 1, namely SMA Negeri 86 Jakarta, SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta, and SMA Avicenna Jakarta. This study used a quantitative approach, with two variables, namely the competence of the principal's supervision (X) and improving the quality of education (Y) with a sample of 93 respondents. The results of this study show that there is a partial influence between the principal's supervision competence on improving the quality of education positively by a significance level of 0.001 less than 0.05 and a calculated value of 11.058 greater than the value of the 19867 table So that in this study it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the principal's supervision competence on improving the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the application of higher-order thinking Skills (HOTS) in Faith subjects for grade 5 and 6 students. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study type of research, where data collection is carried out through structured interviews with grade 5 and 6 students at Daniel Creative School Semarang. Analysis and discussion of the research problem resulted in two findings. First, related to the HOTS learning process, it was found that the application of the concept was already running but still needed to be improved to suit the characteristics of students. Grade 5 students begin to cope with complex material, while grade 6 students still face obstacles in concentration and motivation. Second, HOTS learning outcomes show that students face difficulty answering questions, especially in Bible literacy analysis and literacy-based problem-solving. The questions require critical and creative thinking skills, but their application is still tricky

Abstract

The primary purpose of this study is to find out the dialectic of Imam Abu Haneefah's legal istinbat method, namely istihsan, then its implementation in the field of Islamic economics and finance. The library research approach is used to conduct research that is carried out with a review of literature, previous research, and other sources related to the problem being studied. The data obtained in this study are primary, as well as data presentation and analysis carried out by researchers based on normative juridical frameworks. The results showed that Istihsan was used as an istinbath method by Imam Abu Haneefa and other scholars because it had a strong foundation both from the Qur'an, Al-Hadith and the views of several other scholars. Thus, the existence of an istihsan can be a postulate of shari'a, although Imam Shafi'i, in his understanding of istihsan categorically rejects it as a postulate of shari'a. Then, the differences in istinbath methods, especially in istihsan, cause many different views about the understanding of istihsan itself, and this causes many legal differences that will result from the method. The implementation of the Istihsan method in the realm of Islamic economics and finance is commonly found in the community in the contract of Shirkah Mufawadhah, Buying and Selling Istishna' and buying and selling credit
