Abstract

Expertise lecturers are an ability possessed by each lecturer (individual) to perform the functions and duties of lecturers that teach, serve and researching, in the development of science, especially lecturer of Information Systems Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Suska Riau difficult to find or obtain resources that will help to support scientific knowledge. Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Suska Riau in finding sources of information before a meeting a meeting aiming to get science information is sought from both the work experience of lecturers, the expertise of faculty and research faculty with the sharing of information between lecturers to one another in this way makes the lecturer many find difficulty in getting information quickly, have a meeting because the meeting in advance, some professors do not know each other so that information seekers lecturer shy to ask questions, and in doing only partially meeting the lecturers are present so that the information to be searched limited. Therefore, of course, lecturers need a media liaison between lecturers with other professors who are able to provide information quickly, easily, the latest, and wide or more, so teachers can interact directly (online). Thus it was established a media information that provides information on faculty expertise, work experience lecturer and research faculty. Making the system will be done in the form of computerized development by utilizing online media, there was made a professor of information systems web-based membership.

Abstract

The use of the internet is no stranger to marketing a product. An effort made to market products or services using internet media can also be called e-marketing. The rapid economic development of Riau Province has led to the need for housing in this area as well as continuing government programs in developing Riau in the future. Companies engaged in the field of Public Housing which focus on type 36. The company participated in the Government Program namely the Million Houses Program Based on data obtained from 200 home buyers at PT. Alam Prima Riau, for the most ages the filing of KPR is in the age range of 23-27 years. company PT. Alam Prima Riau the frequent occurrence of double booking is due to the absence of a system that handles the purchase of houses. The problem that is a problem for companies in terms of marketing is the limited marketing reach. To increase the marketing reach of property owned by the company, PT. Alam Prima Riau wants to build an online marketing tool using a website. In the process of marketing target segmentation based on age, the author uses facebook e-marketing property system using promotion tools to help communicate the company's promotional goals through websites, social media and through consumers of PT. Alam Prima Riau. In the targeting process, the author uses facebook ads as a media segmentation based on the age and domicile of prospective consumers to get the target potential customers. Based on the results of the blackbox test conducted by admin and customers, the features of a residential e-marketing system are made running with a 100% success rate.

Abstract

Being an archipelagic country is a plus factor for Indonesia in various fields, including the economic field. One of the important qualities to support the development of maritime potential in Indonesia is the ability of English for the related fields (ESP). This study aims to find out the learning materials needed by students of the Department of Naval Architecture so that they acquire English skills that are relevant to their academic and work fields. This study will further develop teaching material in the form of problem-based learning (PBL) module. This study was a descriptive qualitative study using questionnaires and interviews for data collection. The respondents of this study were 50 students and 2 lecturers from the Department of Naval Architecture, Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis. This study found that the students of the Naval Architecture Department had the skills of listening, reading, speaking, writing, and pronunciation at the intermediate level. The skills really needed by the students of the Naval Architecture Department were listening and pronunciation. The topics needed by the students were Safety of Life at the Sea (SOLAS), Biro Klasisifikasi Indonesia (BKI), and English for job seekers. In addition, the PBL method is suitable and can be used in English classes for the Department of Naval Architecture.

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. The aim of this research is to obtain feasibility recommendation for the Municipal Waterworks (PDAM) of Bengkalis’ drainage to be functioned as a forebay. The feasibility recommendation will be obtained through comparing the observation results of measurement on the width, length, and height of standing water on the drainage of the reservoir to the calculation results. The result of this research shows that the width of drainage based on observation is 1,85m, with the calculation of 1,72m, gap of 0,13m, and length of drainage based on observation is 6,85m, calculation of 6,63m, gap of 0,22m length of head based on observation of 0,58m, calculation of 0,68m, gap of -0,10m with turbine output of 1,74Kw, power output of 1,53Kw and generator power capacity of 1,69Kw, and with simulating the height of standing water of 0,53m dan 0,48m, results turbine output of 1,59Kw dan 1,44Kw, power output of 1,40Kw and 1,27Kw and the generator power capacity of 1,54Kw dan 1,40Kw. It can be concluded that the drainage of Bengkalis PDAM’s reservoir can be functioned and feasible to be implemented as a forebay of Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH).   Keywords : PLTMH, Forebay, Drainage, Reservoir, Power

Abstract

The inventory system is an activity carried out by management that aims to identify, manage and know the location of the existence of goods in the building area. To reduce errors in entering asset data, a technology is needed, namely RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). The use of active RFID technology for asset tracking is by attaching tags to assets or items given a unique ID for identification and providing information on the availability of assets passing through a room. Where the type of RFID used in this system is the UHF RFID Reader type which has an ultra high frequency with Single Tag and Multi Tag testing methods. Where in testing the optimal RFID reader reading distance in the front direction with a distance of 6,5 meters. Then the RFID data is stored in the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller which will then be sent to the MySQL database using the internet, then synchronized with the interface, so that the system is able to register each asset, then display the asset data that has been registered, and is able to display asset location information in 2 rooms.

Abstract

Tilapia is a fish that has high economic value, simply cultivation techniques and affordable princes. In its cultivation, bofloc technology is used and water quality is adequate for tilapia cultivation. Some physical parameters that can be used to determine water quality include acidity (pH), water turbidity (total dissolved solids) and oxygen content in water (do). To ensure the succes of cultivation , breeders must periodically monitor the condition of tilapia ponds with an efficient monitoring tool using 20x4 I2C LCD. In its use, the reading on the sensor from the arduino uno microcontroller will directly display the condition of the biofloc pond water quality level such as the level of pH quality, water turbidity and oxygen content in water which is neededto maximize fish growth.

Abstract

Universities worldwide have recognized the significance of assessing students' language abilities to ensure they can actively participate in academic discourse. However, many universities do not have institution-based English proficiency test yet. The aim of the research is to explore the significances of developing university-based English proficiency test, the essential steps involved in crafting it, and challenges in developing a robust institution's English proficiency test. The method used in this research is library research. The results underscore the critical role of an English proficiency test in ensuring academic excellence, promoting global communication, and preparing students for success in an increasingly interconnected world. Developing a well-structured and reliable English proficiency assessment tool starts with a decision to provide a test, developing the test, and followed by those stages connected with test use. Nevertheless, defining test objective and ensuring test validity, choosing the right format, ensuring fairness and inclusivity, preparing substantial cost and resources, adapting for specific contexts are challenges in developing it. In sum, universities can develop a robust English proficiency test by having collaboration with language experts, assessment specialists, and educators, as well as adherence to established principles of language testing and assessment.

Abstract

There are still many textbooks circulating in the market that do not consider the physical quality of books or graphical aspects. Even though this aspect is very influential on students' interest in reading or students' seriousness in learning. There are several things that need to be considered to produce a good physical quality of the book. These things include front cover components, layout, illustrations, formats, paper, typography, print quality, volume quality and all of that is based on knowledge and standardization that has been determined. Textbooks used in the Graphic Engineering study program need to be assessed for their physical quality whether they have considered graphical aspects. The method used is to use observation and be guided by the specifications/standards that have been determined. The results of the assessment were that the physical quality of the books used in the Graphic Engineering Study Program had met the specified specifications/standards and the textbook that had the highest total weighted score was the Industrial Psychology book total value of 76 and the lowest was the production system textbook with a weighted total value of 65.20.   Keywords: Quality, Textbooks, Graphics

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of ideal water tourism as an effort to create a blue economy for the community. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study and content analysis. The data was collected through searching scientific literature, journals, books, research reports, and other related sources of information such as community surveys in the city of Bengkalis. The data is then analyzed systematically to identify the ideal water tourism concept that supports the blue economy for the community at Wonosari Village, Bengkalis. The results of the study show that the concept of ideal water tourism in the blue economy context involves several important aspects. First, sustainable environmental management, including reducing waste, conserving water resources, and protecting aquatic ecosystems, is a key prerequisite. Second, the active participation of local communities in the development and management of water tourism is an important key to ensuring a positive impact on the local economy and people's welfare. In addition, the concept of ideal water tourism that supports the blue economy also includes the integration of social and cultural principles. Empowerment of local communities, community-based sustainable economic development, and preservation of maritime cultural heritage are important components in achieving blue economy goals through water tourism. The findings of this research can be used by governments, decision makers and related stakeholders in planning and developing sustainable water tourism destinations and contributing to sustainable economic growth. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the world's palm oil producers whose selling value has increased in the last decade, palm oil production is a sector that is relied on and provides very wide employment opportunities. To maintain the quality of palm oil, procedures and operations are needed in managing oil palm. There are several obstacles that often occur, including the lack of supervision of the transportation process, the low absorption of technology use, and the high sales of palm fruit bunches. The research objective was carried out as an effort to increase the productivity of the transportation fleet, namely by implementing the Global Positioning System. This is done to improve timeliness, maintain driver work discipline, and know the vehicle's position in real time using GPS Tracking. This study uses research methods ranging from analysis to testing and uses Vue Js as a framework for creating interfaces on websites. The components of the tools used are GPS Neo M8N, NodeMCU ESP32, and GSM SIM800L. Running the tool uses the Neo M8N GPS which gets an internet network from GSM SIM800L to send the coordinates of the palm oil trucks through the website. The results of this study are in the form of a website displaying the location of trucks, this study received positive responses from users who stated that this system can improve security, manage transport time, and can monitor trucks in real time.
