Abstract

Stock price movements are influenced by the development of environmental and macroeconomic activities. This is reflected in the market reaction. Market reaction can be measured by abnormal return and trading volume activity. This study aims to determine the effect of the fuel price increase on abnormal returns and trading volume activity before and after the event. This research is a type of quantitative research using the event study method. The research sample consisted of 44 companies incorporated in the LQ-45 index using a purposive sampling technique. The research period used is 20 exchange days with an estimated market adjusted model. This research used paired sample t-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of the AAR and ATVA tests showed a significance value greater than 0.05. The conclusion of the study is that there is no difference in abnormal returns and trading volume activity between before and after the 2022 fuel price hike. The relevance of event study research with companies in the scope of accounting involves an analysis of the impact of fuel price hike events that can affect company value, financial performance, and stock prices. Abstract

The Riau Provincial Livestock and Animal Health Office (DISTANAK) is a department that aims to manage livestock and animal health in the Riau Province area. Currently, distanak Riau is conducting data collection on livestock groups using conventional methods with file document storage. This has led to the inability of distanak to digitally visualize the distribution of livestock in the Riau area. Additionally, distanak does not have a system to measure the distance from livestock points to densely populated areas to prevent conflicts with the community arising from environmental disturbances. this research aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) for the distribution of livestock in the Riau region. The prototype method is used to obtain a system that meets user requirements. The development process involves three iterations. The system is tested using two methods: black box testing and user acceptance testing. From the black box testing, which includes 37 test cases, it is found that the Geographic Information System for livestock distribution is functional. Similarly, the user acceptance testing conducted by distanak administrators and staff confirms that the system's functionalities are appropriate, ensuring that all user requirements are met and accepted overall.

Abstract

The library of SMA Negeri system is still by conventionally. It causes various problems occuring frequently. First, If the notebook is lost, the borrowing data will also belose. As a result, librarians cannot find which books were students and teachers borrowed. The second case is when the students did not find the book they were looking for, they usually asked to the librarian, but mostly the librarian did not know the arrangement of the books. So, it can be spend a long time to find the book. Based on the cases described, this research proposes to create a web-based library information system with a waterfall method and End User Computing Statistics testing. The aims of this research is to helps the librarians to manage the library data and assists students and teachers in finding books and reading books in soft file form. Based on the Black-box the system functionality has been met. Based on the End User Computing Satisfaction test by system testing by asking 12 questions, the satisfaction value of each variable is greater than 4, so the level of satisfaction is "Satisfied".

Abstract

This research aims to find out how consumers perceive the distribution channel and promotion that have been carried out by creative economy entrepreneurs in Bengkalis Regency, then explain how to improve distribution channel and promotion strategies in supporting creative economic growth in Bengkalis Regency. This research is descriptive by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. Then the analysis is carried out using frequency distribution tables and calculating the average value (mean) to calculate the frequency of data from each category to find out the categories of respondents' responses to each of these variables and indicators. The results of the study show that creative economy entrepreneur have implemented local distribution channel and promotion strategies that are local (regional) scale, so that creative economic products are still enjoyed by local consumers. Strategy improvement that can be done is to improve distribution channel strategies on a national and international scale by increasing government regulations, creating distribution access by the government, creating creative space, and business assistance through sustainable mentoring.

Abstract

Abstract Every object, whether inanimate or living, can move or change places. Living things certainly have the ability to move themselves according to their genetics and anatomy, living things can move quickly and slowly according to their will or nature. Even inanimate objects can move if the moving object is animate or through a program mechanism and has a power source such as fuel or a battery. In the context of photography, every movement of both inanimate and living objects can be recorded according to the wishes of the photographer himself. Shutter Speed ​​(S) is a mechanism or method of image recording in which the shutter blade is lifted at a certain speed so that the light carrying the image with the help of the lens enters the film or digital sensor so that the image recording process occurs. A photographer can determine and choose the best needs in capturing moving images, either in the form of frozen images with the High Speed ​​technique where the shutter speed is relatively fast so that it can freeze fast subject movements even very fast. In this study, the author will explore the use of the High Speed ​​​​Photography technique in water media (Water Splash) by combining subjects such as fruits, vegetables and other objects combined with air in glass media so as to add artistic value to the photo shoot. As for the lighting technique, the writer will design it as ideally as possible so that the textures of objects and also water appear more attractive. Abstract

Citizenship Education (PKn) is an important subject in developing civic attitudes in students. However, in practice there are still many who rely on theoretical understanding without providing practical experience to students. One of the learning models that can be applied in Civics is Project Citizen. This learning model teaches students to identify, analyze, and solve social problems through active participation in society. This study aims to explore the application of the Project Citizen learning model in Civics courses. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach by collecting data from relevant scientific journals, books, and online sources as well as through direct observation by conducting interviews and questionnaires. The application of the Project Citizen model in Civics can help students to understand citizenship concepts more practically and be involved in decision-making in society. This learning model can also improve social skills, critical thinking skills, and students' active participation in society. In the context of implementing the Project Citizen learning model in Civics, the active role of lecturers as facilitators and mentors is required, as well as collaboration between universities and community organizations as partners in implementing citizenship projects. Therefore, this study recommends the need to develop a Civics curriculum that integrates the Project Citizen learning model at every level of education to prepare students to become active and participatory citizens. Abstract

This study aims to determine the public's perception of the price of basic staple goods in Bengkalis Regency, the commodities needed by the community and the ability of the community to buy. The research method is quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used surveys, observational and In Deph Interviews. Data analysis used associative descriptive technique. The research variables are the amount of price, commodity, the ability of the community and the method of distributing subsidized low-cost basic food packages. Data collection was carried out by means of probability sampling with Stratified random sampling of 1000 respondents in 11 (eleven) sub-districts of Bengkalis Regency. The results indicate that the prices for staple goods at traditional markets in Bengkalis Regency are not the same as the basic prices set by the government because they are influenced by geographical conditions, causing differences in transportation costs. The commodities needed by the community in subsidized low-cost basic basic food packages are rice, sugar, cooking oil, eggs and milk. The ability of the people of Bengkalis Regency to purchase is in the price range of Rp. 25,000 to Rp. 50,000.

Abstract

The internalization of character education values through the courses of Islamic Religious Education and Pancasila Education is important for the students of the State Polytechnic of Creative Media. This is because character is a crucial aspect in the personal development of individuals to achieve success in the future. Islamic Religious Education and Pancasila Education are utilized as means to shape the character of students by introducing the moral and ethical values within them. Such education helps students understand the significance of strengthening values like integrity, responsibility, honesty, justice, and a strong work ethic. The method employed is literature review with a qualitative approach, collecting data from scholarly journals, books, relevant online sources, as well as through direct observation via interviews and questionnaire surveys. In facing future challenges, students of the State Polytechnic of Creative Media are required to possess a strong character and good moral integrity. Therefore, the internalization of character education values through Islamic Religious Education and Pancasila Education courses becomes essential to support future success. In this teaching process, the participation and responsibility of lecturers and teaching staff are also necessary in providing a solid understanding of these character values to the students. This way, students will be able to integrate these values into their daily lives and become individuals with good character. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explore the perceptions of vocational students towards learning English and its relationship with their views on career potential after graduation. Learning English at vocational colleges has an important role in preparing students to face an increasingly global world of work. However, several issues and challenges may arise in integrating learning English with the career goals of vocational students. This research method uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and content analysis to collect data from different samples of vocational students. The information collected will reveal the views and expectations of students regarding learning English and how their perceptions relate to career opportunities after graduation. The results of this research are expected to provide valuable insights for vocational tertiary institutions and English teachers in developing a more relevant and effective curriculum. In addition, the research results can also help vocational students understand the benefits of learning English and how to prepare for career success in this global era. Abstract

Fishermen in the Bengkalis Strait are one of the livelihoods of the Bengkalis residents. Many fishermen who go on cruises do not apply traffic rules in the waters so that accidents often occur in the waters. In this study, it is proposed to apply AIS Transponder for monitoring the security and safety of ships around Bengkalis waters. The developed AIS Transponder is capable of sending and receiving AIS data installed on ships. From the results of the trials that have been carried out, it shows that the AIS transponder can transmit AIS data to the Polbeng AIS receiver and can track nearby ships that have AIS devices.
