Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effects of Segmenting, Targeting and Positioning of purchase decisions (study on the consumer of the online store store application in Jakarta). Samples used by as many as 95 respondents who have previously shoated on the online application for shop pedia by using a quantitative research method between the research variables through testing hypotersis. The variables in this study consist of purchasing decisions, and the independent variables of segmentation, isolation, and positioning. Testing of data and results in sports using a stastical package of social science (SPSS) analysis package. Studies have shown that no decisions can be made on purchase, absences can affect purchase decisions, and positioning effects will result in purchasing decisions. Segmenting, Targeting and Positioning simultaneously account for purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Performance is an important aspect for companies. Every company expects employees to work diligently according to their abilities in order to achieve good work results. Without good performance from all employees, the success in achieving goals will be difficult to attain. This research aims to determine the impact of employee competence, motivation, and work environment on employee performance at PT. Berkah Utama Traktor. This research used quantitative. The number of sample for this research consists of 47 permanent employees working at PT. Berkah Utama Traktor. Data collection for this research use of primary and secondary data, using a questionnaire as the data collection technique. This research used multiple linear regression model. The dependent variable in this research is employee performance, while the independent variables are employee competence, motivation, and work environment. The results of this study indicate that employee competence, motivation, and work environment have a positive influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Sustainability is an issue that has received considerable attention recently. Publication of sustainability reports is also becoming a trend in Indonesia. This research was conducted to determine whether there is an influence by the quality of sustainability reports and risks on company profitability. The company's profitability is measured using the net profit margin. The quality of sustainability reports is measured using a model developed by Al-Shaer and Zaman (2016). Risk is measured using the company's stock beta. Companies listed on the IDX ESG Leaders index for the 2020-2022 period are used as sample. Result shows that the quality of sustainability reports has a positive effect on profitability but risk has no effect on profitability. The research results can be used as a guideline for investors who wish to invest in companies included in the IDX ESG Leaders index..

Abstract

English Language Teaching (ELT) plays a vital role in enabling language learners to achieve proficiency in English, a global lingua franca. This paper delves into the critical aspects of ELT, focusing on the exploration of key factors that contribute to successful language skill acquisition. The aim of this study is to shed light on the fundamental components that foster language mastery, encompassing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In this research, we conduct a comprehensive review of relevant literature and empirical studies related to ELT and language skill development. By analyzing various theoretical frameworks and pedagogical approaches, we identify the essential elements that enhance language learning outcomes and promote effective teaching practices.

Abstract

Background - The rapid development of fashion is progressing quite rapidly, especially in the watch industry, watch shop entrepreneurs must be able to keep up with current developmentin the fashion world. In order to provide good quality watches, watch shop operators must have suppliers who are competitive overall. Aim - This study aims to select suppliers at the Watchnineindo watch shop based on five criteria, namely delivery, quality, service, price, and payment. Design / methodology / approach - This study uses an descriptive quantitative research method which has the aim of obtaining a complete picture of the views of the object under study from the data that has been processed and also to interpret clearly and detail onn decision making. The type of data uses primary data. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Findings - Based on the results of calculations using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, the criteria that received the highest weight were price with a weight of 0.446, second place was quality with a weight of 0.281, third place was payment with a weight of 0.130, fourth place were deliverywith a weight of 0.089, and the last is the service criteria with a weight of 0.055. While the sequence of suppliers that received the highest weight was Chinamontshopa with a weight of 0.286, the second was Antonj87 with a weight of 0.271, the third was CV.Indo jam with a weight of 0.166, the fourth was Arloji Watch Shop with a weight of 0.140, and the last one is The Time.ID with a weight of 0.137. Research implications - as a reference for further researchers related to the selection of suppliers for procurement of watch product. Limitations - For further researchers, more complete criteria can be used, namely using the 7P concept (product, location, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence) because of the limitations of the researcher so that only 5 criteria are used in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the allocation of joint costs at UD Rizky, which is a Small and Medium Enterprise producing various types of bread products such as brown bread, sesame brown bread, green bean bread, coconut bread, and also white bread in Air Joman Baru Village, Air Joman District, Asahan Regency. This research is a case study research with data collection techniques through direct observation and interviews. The method used is the market price method where the selling price is unknown at the point of separation. This study found that UD Rizky only estimates the calculation of the cost of goods produced without using any method. So, through the calculation of cost allocation using the market price method, it can be calculated the amount of joint cost allocation of Rp. 20,400,000 which is divided into several types of products proportionally. The market price method is the most effective method  because it has an impact on the cost of production of each product being lower than the selling price set.

Abstract

This research aims to identify factors that influence the income of fish pond farmers in Banjarsari Village, Cerme District. This research is a quantitative research involving a sample of 203 fish pond farmers from Banjarsari Village. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of the regression analysis show that the most influential variables in this research are work experience and land area, both of which have a positive and significant influence on farmer income. Meanwhile, the labor and selling price variables, although they have a positive influence, do not have a significant influence in this research.

Abstract

Human resources are an important factor for the success of an institution or organization because humans are living assets that need to be maintained and developed. Therefore, employees must receive special attention from the institution or organization which must be managed well so that the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization will increase. This is intended so that the human resources owned by the organization are able to provide optimal contributions in efforts to achieve organizational goals. In managing human resources, management is needed that is able to manage resources in a planned and systematic manner. One of the things that should be the main concern for human resources leaders is the work facility system and non-physical work environment on employee performance.

Abstract

Technological and industrial developments require qualified human resources in every company, strong companies are able to survive all forms of change and challenges of the times. Currently, companies must be able to anticipate and adapt to technological developments and one of the most important assets of a company is its human resources because this affects the survival of the company. The results of the literature review show that human resources have a significant influence on digital transformation, especially through increasing company capabilities. By using an HR quality assessment based on knowledge, skills, expertise and behavior, organizations can accurately determine how to improve the capabilities of each employee. To support objective performance assessment, a balance of qualified human resources is needed, and resource support will facilitate objective performance assessment. In the digital human resource transformation process, the optimization of a company's human resource capacity is measured through the knowledge, skills, expertise and behavior of the company's employees. By paying attention to the impact of performance, businesses can design strategies to achieve goals supported by digital transformation. This research presents an objective view of how to improve a company's human resource capabilities through digital transformation. Focusing on the digital era, this article provides knowledge about the importance of more accurate and effective decision making in human resource management. The aim of this article is to provide an effective combination to improve a company's HR capabilities during this complex digital transformation.

Abstract

This study examines the simultaneous and partial effects of Lifestyle, Electronic Word of Mouth, and Brand Image on purchasing decisions. Primary data was collected using the survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents who subscribe to and watch Netflix. Questionnaires were collected as many as 130 respondents using purposive sampling method. Furthermore, the data is processed using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the research analysis, it shows that Lifestyle, EWOM and Brand Image together influence purchasing decisions. These results also show that lifestyle and electronic word of mouth have an effect on purchasing decisions, but brand image has no effect on purchasing decisions and EWOM has the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions. The results of this research are expected to be input for Netflix to be able to improve the EWOM marketing strategy so that consumers can be more convincing in making purchasing decisions.
