Abstract

Football fans are individuals who promote, motivate, and inspire football. Players of football clubs have both positive and negative fanaticism in both the real world and social media, especially on Twitter. Twitter is one of the communication media. Attracting people worldwide, Twitter saw a record increase in global users, with 313 million monthly active users in 2016 alone; the majority accessed Twitter through mobile devices, accounting for 82 percent of users. Due to the multitude of users tweeting, the latest news and comments become significant worldwide. What happens becomes the main topic, and comments received from many users trigger trending topics on Twitter. This research aims to develop a classification model to predict whether tweets from stadium events are positive or negative from fan perspectives. The classification model is based on a Twitter dataset, and sentiment analysis of tweets was conducted using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. The next step involved preprocessing, including case-folding, cleansing, translation to English, and sentiment labeling using VADER. Subsequently, in the preprocessing step 2, tokenization, stopwords, and stemming were applied. For modeling, classic algorithms such as Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine were used. The highest accuracy, 87.77%, was achieved using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm.

Abstract

The government has established a SAMSAT (One-Stop Manunggal Administration System) office, which has duties in the motor vehicle tax service. Queuing activities make people spend their time waiting. Therefore, it is necessary to create a queuing system that can inform the estimated queue time remotely. The queuing system does not require users to wait physically, so the waiting time needed to queue can be used by taxpayers to carry out their own personal and work activities that are more useful. Queuing application development aims to develop queuing service features from previous applications, which only provide queued information on taxpayers. Features developed in the form of queuing data processing with different activities, monitoring information on time, and queue status periodically. The research method used is SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) with a prototype model. The test results using the Gray Box Testing method show that queuing applications in government agencies providing motorized vehicle tax services have been successfully developed.

Abstract

An Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a company or entity that provides internet connection services and other related services. The complexity of distribution control from several ISPs causes problems, especially in the speed factor, which affects the costs that must be incurred by the company. Management company information is not only focused on price and speed, but also requires good security and data traffic management (Traffic Engineering/TE). One application that is able to meet these needs is Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN). SD-WAN is the latest technological network development paradigm, overcoming the challenges that exist in network mechanisms in TE. The results of this study can be used as a comparison of several ISPs so that it can be known which one is better or which one to choose. Based on the results of the data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) As for the jitter problem in the performance of SD-WAN technology, it has advantages over ordinary conventional networks that do not use sdwan technology; 2) Regarding the delay/latency of internet service providers, SD-WAN has advantages over ordinary conventional networks and 3) With respect to packet loss, SD-WAN internet service providers have an advantage over ordinary conventional networks.

Abstract

The attendance or attendance system is a recording or provision of information on a person's presence which indicates that the person has provided information about his presence and absence, then it is stated in the form of an attendance report. Along with the development of technology, an attendance recording has also developed, where we used to use paper attendance to fingerprint attendance. In educational institutions such as campuses, attendance has an important role in the process of developing a student. Until now, there are still many campuses that still use conventional attendance to record the presence of students in class, which allows for human error or fraud from both lecturers and students. Therefore, a solution is possible to suppress errors that may occur, namely by creating a website-based attendance or attendance system where the QR Code is used as an auxiliary medium in recording the presence or absence of a student at the STMIK AKBA Makassar Campus.

Abstract

Boarding houses have become a fairly important need for many people, especially for students studying outside the area who choose boarding houses as temporary housing, and students whose homes may be quite far from the campus, who rent boarding houses near their campus so as not to spend a lot of energy and time traveling. The boarding house route search information system has benefits for users who will search for the nearest boarding house from various features, such as finding boarding house routes and viewing detailed boarding house information. ease of boarding house owners to manage data allows information to be continuously updated. This study aims to create an Android-based boarding house location information system. The research stage starts from the design of a system that has been built using a Use Case Diagram that has three actors, including the admin, the boarding house owner, and the tenant/user. Each of these actors has different roles and access rights. At the implementation stage of the system creation process, using the Android Studio application, the system is tested using the Black Box method. Based on the results of system tests that have been carried out, obtaining good results, or in other words, the system can run as expected.
