Abstract

UISU Islamic Private Vocational School is one of the private vocational schools in Pematangsiantar city. In the curriculum, this vocational school teaches computer subjects as part of its vocational specifications. With advances in technology, almost everyone already has their own computer. So many schools began to make computer learning as one of the subjects or majors taught at the school. One example is making an application for selling goods. There are many benefits to be gained, if you can prepare financial statements. These benefits such as knowing information about product goods, stock of goods and the results of the sale of goods. Being one of the ingredients in making decisions to find out the results of selling goods based on hassle or reports, business actors will know how many products were sold in 1 period. Here the author volunteered to hold Microsoft Access Training in Making Goods Sales Applications for UISU Islamic Private High School students as a community service program.

Abstract

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the education section. All educators and students are affected by this pandemic. All learning processes, which are usually done face-to-face, under government recommendations, must be carried out online from home ( E-learning ) now. Thus, online-based distance learning (E-learning) is becoming more and more developed with a variety of different techniques and strategies. One form of utilizing E-Learning applications that can be used for current learning activities is Quizizz. Quizizz can be used as a solution to create interactive and fun online interactive quizzes. Quizizzhas many advantages that are very useful in motivating students to learn by using the principle of learning while playing. The purpose of this research is to assist teachers to be able to use and utilize online learning media with the support of the Quizizzapplication to create cool, contemporary, interactive and fun online interactive quizzes. The implementation method is carried out in the form of training activities for making cool and contemporary online interactive quiz games, with the participants from Alqur'an Taqarrub Kindergarten teachers, Medan. Based on these training activities, it was identified that the teachers were very enthusiastic and understood how to make their quizzes for kindergarten students by using the menu provided. Thus, it is clear that the use of the Quizizz E-Learning application can assist teachers as educators in conducting evaluations without being limited by place, an attractive appearance and regulated time settings guide students' concentration.

Abstract

Pemanfaat pembelajaran melalui media komputerisasi masih menjadi permasalahan bagi sebagian sekolah dasar yang ada di Kota Samarinda. Hal ini didasari tidak tersedianya laboratorium praktik komputer yang dapat digunakan oleh pendidik ataupun perserta didik. Padahal bila media komputerisasi telah tersedia disinyalisasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan prestasi peserta didik. Selain itu pula pembelajaran yang aktif, inovatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan (PAIKEM) dapat membantu proses belajar mengajar semakin menarik. Dengan demikian bila sarana komputerisasi diperkenalkan nantinya diharapkan mampu memberikan sumbangsih pengetahuan bagi para siswa yang akan bermuara pada peningkatan pengetahuan siswa. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk menyosialisasikan pemanfaatan media komputerisasi dalam pembelajaran yang aktif, inovatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan (PAIKEM). Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam bentuk sosialisasi kepada para siswa di SD Negeri 023 Samarinda Utara tentang pemanfatan media komputerisasi dalam pembelajaran yang aktif, inovatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan (PAIKEM). Abstract

Abstract The world and including Indonesia are still shocked by cases of corona virus infection that continue to infect. In Indonesia, currently cases of patients dying from the corona virus have reached 105,598 (as of August 7, 2021). Since the corona virus (COVID-19) is rapidly spreading, it's currently considered a pandemic. Schools and students must be educated about the corona virus (also known as Covid-19) and clean and healthy living habits in order to comply with health standards under the new normal school order, which is now in place for face-to-face interactions. This community service project aims to educate students at the Health Vocational School about clean and healthy living and the role it plays in preventing and managing the development of COVID-19 in school settings in order to offer health protocols education to them. The present face-to-face function of preventing and regulating the spread of COVID-19 in educational settings. There were 158 students participating in the activity, which was conducted online on August 14, 2021, using the Zoom Meeting software. Lectures, debates, and instructional video screenings are some of the methods used. Students' awareness of clean and healthy living behaviors and their role in preventing and regulating the spread of COVID-19 has increased as a consequence of the study, particularly in educational settings. To prevent the spread of the corona virus, it is recommended that the school recall and monitor children constantly. Keywords: covid-19, health education, prevention, control, Vocational Students. Abstrak Kasus infeksi virus corona terus terdengar masyarakat di seluruh dunia, khususnya di Indonesia. Saat ini ada 105.598 orang Indonesia yang meninggal akibat virus corona (per 7 Agustus 2021). Karena penyebarannya yang cepat, virus corona (COVID-19) kini telah menjadi wabah yang ditakuti oleh seluruh umat manusia. Sekolah dan siswa harus dididik tentang virus corona (juga dikenal sebagai Covid-19) dan kebiasaan hidup bersih dan sehat untuk mematuhi standar kesehatan di bawah tatanan sekolah normal baru, yang sekarang berlaku untuk kontak tatap muka. . Meskipun siswa SMK Kesehatan mengetahui tentang peraturan kesehatan, proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini masih perlu mendidik mereka tentang hidup sehat dan peran yang dapat dimainkan oleh hidup bersih dan sehat dalam menghindari dan mengendalikan penyebaran COVID-19 di lingkungan sekolah. hadirnya fungsi tatap muka pencegahan dan pengaturan penyebaran COVID-19 di lingkungan pendidikan Ada 158 siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan yang dilakukan secara online pada 14 Agustus 2021 dengan menggunakan software Zoom Meeting. Ceramah, debat, dan pemutaran video instruksional adalah beberapa metode yang digunakan. Kesadaran siswa tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta perannya dalam mencegah dan mengatur penyebaran COVID-19 meningkat sebagai konsekuensi dari penelitian, khususnya di lingkungan pendidikan. Untuk mencegah penyebaran virus corona, disarankan agar sekolah memanggil dan memantau anak-anak secara terus-menerus. Abstract

Tingkat konsumsi buah masyarakat yang cukup tinggi meningkatkan jumlah limbah kulit buah. Ekoenzim adalahproduk hasil fermentasi limbah kulit buah, dengan penambahan air dan gula. Cairan ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pembersih, insektisida, antiseptik, perawatan tubuh dan pupuk organik. Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyrakat tentang pentingnya mengolah sampah organik menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat, memperkenalkan Ekoenzim sekaligus mensosialisasikan teknik pembuatan ekoenzim dari limbah kulit buah. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari metode ceramah dan sosialisasi dilanjutkan dengan tahap praktek pembuatan Ekoenzim. Kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan mendapat dukungan dari masyarakat. Lewat kegiatan ini, peserta mendapat pengetahuan baru tentang ekoenzim dan tahu teknik pembuatannya ; peserta dapat melanjutkan proses fermentasi di rumah masing-masing dan peserta memperoleh Ekoenzim yang dapat digunakan pada berbagai fungsi.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah terutama limbah rumah tangga merupakan permasalahan umum yang dialami masyarakat. Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang cara pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) dari bahan organik berupa limbah menjadi penyebab tidak terkelolanya limbah rumah tangga. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan penyuluhan dan demonstrasi pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair dengan memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga di Kelurahan Gunung Elai. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat dalam mengelola limbah rumah tangga, serta memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang pembuatan POC yang tentunya akan berdampak pada peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan masyarakat Kelurahan Gunung Elai yang kemudian diberikan penyuluhan tentang manfaat limbah rumah tangga dan dampaknya jika tidak ditanggulangi dengan baik, serta demonstrasi tentang pembuatan POC. POC yang dihasilkan kemudian diuji pada tanaman tomat dengan menggunakan parameter pertumbuhan. Tanaman tomat yang diberi POC dapat tumbuh dengan baik dn memiliki struktur tanah yang lebih gembur. Para peserta sangat tertarik dan menjadi lebih paham tentang pemanfaatan limbah rumah tangga menjadi POC yang dapat digunakan pada budidaya tanaman pekarangan rumah.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on human life all over the world.This disaster affects not only large cities, but also small towns and villages.Almost every aspect of life, including the household, undergoes significant changes.The community, particularly home-based business actors, will benefit greatly from digital acceleration in the business sector.Innovative individuals can emerge to build creative businesses by combining the internet and smartphones. As is well known, internet services can be accessed from anywhere, making it simple for anyone to connect with one another via smartphone. Business actors must take advantage of this opportunity to digitally develop their businesses. This community service activity will be carried out through counseling, which will include material presentation and discussion with PKM participants.The activity's conclusion is that there is more knowledge about how to use digital as a home business to supplement income during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the benefits in the context of community empowerment in Beroanging Village.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are one of the main causes of death worldwide. In 2016, 73% of deaths in Indonesia were estimated to be due to NCDs, of which 35% were caused by cardiovascular disease, 12% cancer, 6% acute respiration, 6% diabetes, and 15% other NCDs (World Health Organization, 2018). In Indonesia, the results of Riskesdas 2018 show that the prevalence of the population with high blood pressure is 34.11%. The prevalence of high blood pressure in women (36.85%) was higher than that of men (31.34%). The prevalence in urban areas is slightly higher (34.43%) than in rural areas (33.72%). Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) begins with early detection of risk factors. Early detection of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) that can be done in the form of measuring blood pressure, detecting blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid levels, measuring height and weight, and abdominal circumference. The purpose of holding free screenings as one of the priority programs for Real Work Class is to provide services as well as provide counseling about the importance of early detection of risk factors for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). As a result of the dedication carried out by many people who were enthusiastic about participating in this free screening. The final result expected from the implementing team is that the community will increase their awareness to carry out early detection of NCDs risk factors at the puskesmas once a month, especially for people who have the final result will be at risk of contracting non-communicable diseases.

Abstract

The results of the survey and field observations to the Partner (Kelurahan Lamaru Balikpapan), the Balikpapan State Polytechnic Village Development team obtained information from interviews with the kelurahan that there were still RT-RT areas that lacked access to street lighting. Includes RT. 8, RT.19, RT 22, RT 23 RT 28. This lack of access to lighting results in frequent traffic accidents for motorists who cross the road and are not criminals at night or in dark conditions. In addition to the problems above, information was also obtained, that fish, which is one of the natural resources at partner locations, is still not optimally utilized because the average catch of residents is directly sold to traditional markets. as street lamp lighting in several RTs that have been determined above and Increasing Diversification of Processed Fish into Shredded and Nugget. The 5 lamp units that were installed were operating well and received a very positive appreciation by the residents. Residents are also given knowledge about solar cell technology and how to maintain the lamp unit so that its use can be maximized. The Village Development Team also conducted training on diversification of tongkol into shreds and nuggets to provide more value added which has an impact on improving the economy of residents at partner locations which is also accompanied by socialization related to the nutritional value of tongkol. In this Community Service Activity, this village development also carried out the handover of 5 units of village street lighting and a set of kitchen utensils for processing tongkol from the team to the kelurahan which was immediately received by the Lamaru village head.

Abstract

Abstract The skill competency test activity is a very strategic educational activity to reveal student competency achievements. Competence is an ability to carry out or perform a job or task based on skills and knowledge and supported by the work attitude required by the job. The purpose of the competency test is to measure students' cognitive abilities or to test the process objectives of a program by using the practicum test assessment format or observing activities of groups or individuals. The method of implementing the activities is carried out in several stages including the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the implementation results stage. The results of the implementation of Community Service activities in the form of competency tests in the field of expertise have been carried out well with indicators of satisfaction with these activities, namely (1). quite good coordination between Rigomasi Vocational School and STTI Bontang in organizing competency test activities so that competency test activities run smoothly, (2). Rigomasi Vocational High School students in general can work on the questions given in the competency test well, so it is hoped that the skills they have can be put into practice in the real world of work.
