Abstract

The aim to be achieved in community service activities with the theme "Legal education regarding the criminal threat of polygamy without a permit" is to support higher education programs as educational centers in providing and increasing knowledge to the community regarding the potential for legal problems in the future, if there are parties ( husband) who engages in polygamy without written permission from the first wife, apart from that in order to disseminate information to the community and family (as part of community members) about the dangers and legal risks and the risk of quarrels in the household which can lead to divorce and going to prison. This community service activity is carried out in two stages, namely, preparation and implementation of the core program. Community Service (PPM) through legal counseling, providing knowledge to participants, especially regarding polygamy according to Islamic teachings, the requirements for polygamy according to the provisions of Law number 1 of 1974, the risk of domestic conflict, if you carry out polygamy without written permission from first wife and the potential for criminal problems related to domestic life. The material presented can be received, digested and understood by participants well.

Abstract

Abstract Ancient manuscripts are parts of history that are written on different kinds of paper. One of the efforts to preserve the integrity of history is the preservation of ancient manuscripts. The purpose of this community dedication is to provide understanding to the community (students) regarding the importance of preserving history and the impact of loss of history. The method of implementation of this service in the community is training. This community dedication resulted in excellent responses from students, faculty, and related agencies. The answers are seen in the spirit and the questions that arise during the discussion. The conclusion of this public devotion deserves special understanding and attention as it has a positive impact on the preservation of ancient manuscripts in the Imperial Museum. Abstract

The tridharma of higher education is education, research, and community service. One of these obligations is carrying out community service, which is carried out in relation to the concerns of every institution or institution operating in the field of education. The community service carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Kotanyar is a form of implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education by providing assistance as well as serving as an external examiner in the Skills Competency Test. This Community Service Program focuses on activities carried out on the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering skills program with material including Tune Up, Chassis, Automotive Electrical, and AC (Air Conditioning) Systems. The results of the skills competency test are given a weight that has been regulated in the assessment rubric, namely 70% for the skills aspect and 30% for the knowledge aspect. Based on the results of the exams carried out by all participants, it can be seen that the recapitulation of the Skills Competency Test results at SMK Negeri 1 Kotaanyar shows that the overall average of students at SMK Negeri 1 Kotaanyar received a final score of "Competent" in the field of light vehicle engineering expertise. automotive.

Abstract

This community service program aims to integrate Canva, a popular graphic design platform, into educational settings with a focus on its impact on teaching practices, student engagement, and administrative support. Through training and workshops involving elementary school teachers and principals, this program explores the benefits, challenges, and strategies associated with using Canva to create visually appealing learning materials. The results show that Canva enhances teacher efficiency by streamlining the creation of modules, games, and worksheets, while also fostering student interest through colorful and interactive content. Challenges such as limited infrastructure and varying levels of teacher proficiency were identified, along with strategies to address them, including targeted training and collaborative learning initiatives. Principals emphasized the importance of recognizing and incentivizing proficient use of technology among teachers, as well as optimizing school resources to support effective integration of Canva. Overall, this community service program highlights the transformative potential of Canva in improving teaching practices and student engagement, while also underscoring the need for ongoing support and training to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

In the current educational landscape, the integration of digital technology has become essential, shifting traditional teaching methods and demanding teachers to acquire new skills. This community service program aims to assist and develop teacher professionalism in the digital era. We identify the challenges faced by educators, explore opportunities for utilizing digital tools, and propose effective strategies for integrating technology into education. Through a systematic literature review and insights from various scholarly sources, this program focuses on themes such as the integration of technology in teacher training, promoting digital citizenship, and ensuring high-quality digital professional development. The program highlights the complexity of teacher professionalism in the digital age and emphasizes the importance of continuous professional development to equip educators to keep pace with technological advancements. Additionally, this program underscores the transformative potential of digital tools such as AI, AR, VR, and digital data analysis in enhancing teaching outcomes. The implications indicate the need for collaboration among policymakers, educational leaders, and practitioners to invest in innovative strategies, ensure equitable access to technology, foster collaborative learning communities, and offer ongoing support for educators. By embracing digitalization and prioritizing professional growth, teachers can enhance student learning and prepare them for a more technologically advanced future.

Abstract

Education in the digital era requires school principals to play an encouraging and strategic role in utilizing technology to enhance the quality of learning. The purpose of this community service program is to empower school principals in optimizing their role in integrating educational technology. This program employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature studies, including exploring journals, books, and other relevant information. The results of the service indicate that school principals play a crucial role in improving the quality of education in the digital era. The role of school principals includes the ability to lead and manage the school effectively to utilize digital technology, serve as educators for teachers and staff in developing their technological competencies, and manage school resources, including digital technology, efficiently. Despite facing challenges such as a lack of trained human resources and technological infrastructure constraints, certain strategies can help overcome these obstacles. Training and professional development of teachers are essential steps in enhancing their technology usage skills. Additionally, improving technological infrastructure, such as adequate internet access and sufficient hardware, is necessary to support optimal technology integration.

Abstract

Mathematical problem solving is the process of solving problems or problems using concepts, principles and methods related to mathematics. Mathematical problem-solving ability is the skill to use mathematical concepts and strategies in solving real problems. Students' mathematical problem-solving abilities can increase with the implementation of learning assisted by Augmented Reality (AR). The aim of this community service is to implement learning media with AR-assisted cognitive conflict strategies. Does the implementation of this media affect students' mathematical problem-solving abilities regarding cubes and blocks. This community service was carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Percut Tuan for class VIII students, where each class took 5 people as representatives and the number of students who took part in the socialization process was 25 people. Activities are carried out in stages 1) socialization of AR-assisted learning media, 2) Implementation of AR-assisted learning media, 3) evaluation by providing a pre-test before implementation and providing a questionnaire, post-test after implementation. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the implementation of learning media with AR-assisted cognitive conflict strategies motivates students and strengthens understanding of concepts so that it has an impact on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The pre-test and post-test data were carried out by the N-Gain test, there was an increase and the t test showed differences between before and after implementation. This means that there is a significant influence from the implementation of learning media with AR-assisted cognitive conflict strategies on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Abstract

Community service activities (PKM) were carried out in the form of training on the use of Augmented Reality applications for teachers and students for understanding geometry at SMP Negeri 4 Percut Sei Tuan. The number of participants in this community service activity amounted to 26 people. The purpose of this PKM activities include 1) to determine the use of Augmented Reality media in learning geometry on teachers and students of SMP Negeri 4 Percut Sei Tuan, and 2) to determine the response of students after participating in socialization and training on the use of Augmented Reality in learning geometry on students and teachers of SMP Negeri 4 Percut Sei Tuan. The method implemented in this PKM activity consists of four stages The fourth stage is the stage of evaluating activities. The first stage is the observation stage of the students and teachers. The second stage is the stage of providing training materials. The third stage is the stage of providing problems to be solved by students and teachers. Evaluation of PKM activities is carried out through questionnaires given to students and teachers after PKM activities are held. Data analysis is done quantitatively descriptive. The conclusions obtained are 1) the students and teachers have known how to use Augmented Reality applications in understanding geometry, and 2) the response of students and teachers in this activity is categorized as good.

Abstract

Dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia di Kampung Nawaripi Distrik Wania maka pemerintah kampung membuat wadah sarana belajar dan mengajar bagi anak-anak putus sekolah. Nawaripi merupakan salah satu Kampung dengan jumlah Pemuda dan pemudi yang belum bekerja dan putus sekolah cukup tinggi. Sehingga seringkali banyak pemuda yang mengahabiskan waktu dan mencari kerja dengan menjadi buruh bongkar muat barang di pelabuhan dan berbagai pekerjaan yang tidak jelas dan tetap penghasilannya. Hal ini karena rendahnya tingkat pendidikan mereka dan tidak adanya pengetahuan dan keterampilan lain yang dimiliki guna menunjang mereka untuk berwirausaha sendiri. Penelitian di lakukan di jalan Nawaripi, Kecamatan Wania, dengan menggunakan metode kepustakaan, wawancara, serta metode rekayasa. Dari hasil pelatihan Teknik pengelsan dasar di harapkan agar para pemuda dan pemudi bisa mengetahui bagaimana Teknik dasar pengelasan. Olehnya itu LPPM Politeknik Amamapare Timika, khususnya Dosen pada Prodi Teknik Mesin berinisiatif untuk melaksanakan Kegiatan pelatihan Teknik pengelasan dasar bagi para Pemuda dan pemudi di Kampung Nawaripi Distrik Wania Kabupaten Mimika dengan. harapan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi keterampilan meraka dalam Teknik pengelasan Dasar, dan menghasilkan sebuah karya produk sendiri dan dapat memotifasi mereka untuk dapat menjadi seorang wirausaha.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk dan perkembangan perkotaan menimbulkan berbagai masalah sanitasi di lingkungan perkotaan, termasuk di Kabupaten Timika seperti Gedung Kantor Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda). Pemerintah Kabupaten Timika telah menerapkan kebijakan untuk memperketat regulasi terkait penanganan limbah domestik. Salah satu solusi yang diadopsi adalah penggunaan Bio Septic Tank sebagai sistem alternatif pengolahan limbah domestik yang ramah lingkungan dan efisien. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan dapat diperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai efektivitas dan keberhasilan sistem tersebut dalam menangani limbah domestik di lingkungan perumahan. Lingkup kegiatan penerapan Bio Septic Tank ini adalah: pekerjaan galian tanah, pasir alas, Rabat Beton, Pas Bata 1:4, Kolom Praktis, Ring Balok, Plat Beton, Pipa PVC Dia 4”, Pipa PVC Dia 1” Udara, Biotank 12 m 3 . Dari pelaksanaan pembangunan gedung kantor Bapenda dengan penerapan Bio Septic Tank, beberapa hal dapat disimpulkan: Penerapan Bio Septic Tank dalam pembangunan gedung kantor Bapenda merupakan langkah yang tepat untuk memperhatikan aspek lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat sekitar. Setiap tahapan pekerjaan memerlukan perencanaan, pengawasan, dan pelaksanaan yang cermat untuk memastikan kualitas dan keamanan konstruksi. Sasaran mutu dalam pembangunan Bio Septic Tank adalah memastikan konstruksi yang kokoh, tahan lama, dan sesuai dengan standar teknis yang berlaku. Prosedur keselamatan kerja menjadi prioritas dalam setiap tahap pembangunan Bio Septic Tank. Implementasi Bio Septic Tank dalam pembangunan gedung kantor Bapenda, diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan sekitar serta menjadi contoh bagi pembangunan berkelanjutan di masa depan
