Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the digital SAP application in reducing workplace accidents in a coal mining company in South Kalimantan. The research method employed a descriptive quantitative case study approach, involving 150 respondents from various departments. Data were collected through accident documentation over a 12-month period (6 months before and 6 months after implementation of the application), questionnaires, interviews, and field observations. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive comparisons and paired t-tests to examine the significance of accident reduction. The results show a 75% decrease in workplace accidents after the application was implemented. The number of SAP reports in 2025 was consistently higher compared to 2024, with a significant difference of around 2.000–3.000 reports per month, reflecting a more consistent reporting culture. This indicates system improvement and increased worker participation following the full implementation of the digital SAP application in 2025. Surveys revealed that 85% of respondents found the application easy to use, 78% stated it encouraged them to be more proactive in maintaining safety, 75% reported an improved safety culture, and 85% felt the application helped reduce potential hazards. In conclusion, the digital SAP application has proven effective in strengthening the OSH reporting system, increasing worker participation, accelerating follow-up actions, and significantly reducing workplace accidents. This study recommends the broader adoption of the digital SAP application in the mining industry as part of a strategy towards a proactive and sustainable safety culture.

Abstract

Chinese public diplomacy toward Indonesia represents a charm offensive within its soft power strategy to enhance its status and cultural image. This effort is driven by the rising interest of Indonesians in the Chinese language and culture, despite China’s presence often being perceived as aggressive in international relations through public diplomacy. This research aims to analyze China’s public diplomacy toward Indonesia under the administrations of Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping, using the concept of public diplomacy. The methodology employs a qualitative comparative research design utilizing internet-based and document-based data collection techniques, analyzing official government documents, policy statements, media reports, and academic publications from both Chinese and Indonesian sources spanning the two presidential periods. Findings show both administrations employed five key indicators: time, purpose, media/public opinion, and instruments of public diplomacy such as branding, cultural diplomacy, and exchange. The comparison reveals three major differences: instruments, agents, and targets. Under Hu Jintao, the Chinese government was the dominant actor, with the main goal of disseminating culture. In contrast, during Xi Jinping’s era, non-state actors and mass media collaboration complemented government involvement, with the broader objective of enhancing and promoting China’s branding. The Confucius Institute served as the primary instrument in both eras, though the products and programs differed. Hu Jintao’s period emphasized cultural exhibitions, while Xi Jinping’s diplomacy relied more on social media and internet platforms to reach wider audiences. Overall, China’s evolving approach reflects a shift from cultural dissemination to strategic branding and influence-building in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has driven a fundamental transformation in auditing practices, shifting from manual, sampling-based methods toward automation and data analytics. Although innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Robotic Process Automation have been introduced, a comprehensive understanding of their applications, challenges, and impacts on audit quality remains limited. This study aims to (1) identify digital innovations applied in the audit process, (2) analyze key challenges in their implementation, and (3) evaluate the impact of digital transformation on audit quality in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, accuracy, and timeliness. The research employs a systematic literature review (SLR) using the PRISMA protocol and the PICOC framework, covering 84 academic articles published between 2015 and 2025. Data were analyzed through thematic synthesis and narrative synthesis. Findings reveal that AI and data analytics dominate digital audit innovations, while Blockchain enhances transparency and RPA accelerates routine procedures. Key challenges include limited IT infrastructure, organizational resistance, auditors’ skill gaps, and a lack of specific regulations for digital auditing. Nevertheless, digital transformation significantly improves accuracy, efficiency, and real-time anomaly detection, although issues of data integrity and professional ethics persist. Digital transformation enhances audit quality and repositions auditors as strategic partners within organizations. However, its success largely depends on technological readiness, human capital competence, and adaptive regulatory frameworks.

Abstract

coli and total coliform, during field investigations at several spring locations. The results showed that whereas many spring sources satisfied acceptable drinking water criteria, several sites had higher than average levels of pollutants, underscoring the effects of human activities including inappropriate waste disposal and agricultural runoff. Overall water quality in these springs will be assessed using the Water Quality Index (WQI) standards consist of three core components, as there are three water quality parameters that help to measure the quality of water, which include physical parameters, chemical parameters, and biological parameters. The physical parameters include color, taste, odor, temperature, turbidity, solids, and electrical conductivity. which rated most samples as "good" for human consumption. However some sites to be treated before use water quality as well as pH, TDS, EC, Ion Content, BOD, in springs located in areas with high human activity will have worse quality parameters compared to springs located in more natural areas or areas with minimal human activity. Physical, chemical, and biological parameters of water in springs will show significant well to community in Bauro Vilage. The findings highlight the necessity of consistent monitoring and management techniques to preserve water quality and public health. This study advances our knowledge of the dynamics of water quality in spring sources and emphasizes how crucial sustainable water resource management is to preserving clean and dependable water supplies for communities who depend on these essential ecosystems.

Abstract

Choosing a suitable dining place can be challenging for both locals and tourists due to the wide variety of culinary options and the limited availability of comprehensive recommendations covering food types, menu variations, prices, facilities, operating hours, and locations. To address this issue, this study aims to develop a Content-Based Restaurant Recommendation System Using the Best Match 25 Lucene (BM25L) Method in Pamekasan that assists users in selecting dining places aligned with their preferences. The system leverages the Best Match 25 Lucene (BM25L) method, which effectively accounts for document length in ranking, providing more precise recommendations. Data were collected from public sources such as Google and Instagram, complemented by direct field observations. System performance was evaluated through precision@k testing with 10 users, yielding a precision@10 score of 0.93 and a precision@20 score of 0.84. The results indicate that the most relevant recommendations typically appear within the top 10 positions, while relevance slightly decreases as the number of evaluated results increases. This demonstrates that the system is highly accurate for smaller result sets while maintaining acceptable relevance for larger sets. The research contributes to improving user experience by enabling faster and more reliable decision-making when choosing dining venues. Furthermore, the system provides a practical framework for future applications of content-based recommendation methods in the culinary domain and other service sectors. By prioritizing the most relevant options, this system enhances convenience, supports informed choices, and can serve as a model for similar smart recommendation solutions in regional tourism and hospitality contexts.

Abstract

Millennials now constitute over half of the global workforce, creating pressing demands for leadership approaches that can adapt to rapidly changing organizational environments in the public, healthcare, and education sectors. This study aims to systematically review and integrate two complementary leadership frameworksNeuroleadership, which enhances cognitive–affective skills such as emotional regulation, empathy, and evidence-based decision-making, and the Ottawa Model of Implementation Leadership (O-MILe), which emphasizes task orientation, change management, and relational support to inform millennial leadership development. Using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, comprehensive searches across Scopus, Web of Science, ProQuest, and SAGE databases identified 247 studies, with 20 meeting the inclusion criteria after quality appraisal using CASP and MMAT tools. Findings reveal that Neuroleadership is primarily applied in corporate contexts to improve self-regulation and strategic decision-making, whereas O-MILe is more prevalent in healthcare and educational settings to facilitate effective change implementation and team support. This review fills a gap in the literature by providing the first integrative analysis of these frameworks for developing adaptive, empathetic, and implementation-focused leadership in millennials. The implications for practice include designing leadership training modules, competency frameworks, and coaching programs that enhance both adaptability and implementation capacity. The integrative approach provides a cross-disciplinary foundation for preparing millennial leaders to address complex organizational challenges, aligning leadership development with the demands of Industry 5.0 and fostering evidence-based, empathetic, and resilient leadership.

Abstract

Fierce competition among private universities demands that institutions cultivate reputations rooted in student experience and a robust digital presence. Empirical evidence on the interplay between student experience, digital engagement, e-service quality, electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM), brand image, and institutional reputation remains fragmented and often contradictory. This study synthesises the 2005–2025 literature through a Systematic Literature Review guided by PRISMA 2020. Searches in Scopus, Web of Science, ProQuest, Google Scholar, and Garuda yielded 125 records; after deduplication, screening, and JBI appraisal, ten mixed-methods studies (quality score ? 70 %) were analysed. Thematic synthesis reveals three dominant patterns: (1) student experience—especially academic interaction and support services—consistently enhances brand image and reputation; (2) rich digital interactivity sparks positive e-WOM that strengthens institutional perceptions; and (3) e-service quality shapes reputation indirectly via student satisfaction. The research landscape is limited by a predominance of cross-sectional designs and a scarcity of studies in emerging-economy contexts, signalling the need for longitudinal and integrative investigations, including tests of industry collaboration as a new dynamic capability. Findings provide university leaders with actionable guidance: implement a student-experience dashboard, adopt a “3E” digital-content strategy (Educate–Engage–Empower), and set clear e-service benchmarks to fortify reputation and sustain competitive advantage.
