Abstract

Start-ups in Indonesia have grown fast for the last few years and have become first in Southeast Asia and ranked third in the world. However, this start-up failure rate is very high during their early stage. This is due to the instability of the business, which raised concerns regarding organizational culture. This study will continue the previous study from (A. S. Gunawan & Cahayani, 2025) By examining the culture of organizations that influences business achievement among young start-up entrepreneurs in Jakarta, this study uses quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data were collected through the dissemination of questionnaires and analysed using the mean score technique, whereas the qualitative data were gathered through interviews and interpreted using content analysis. The result showed that attention to detail, innovation, and risk-taking emerge as the prominent organizational culture characteristics that respondents believe as the driving factors for their business success.

Abstract

Abstract Dam construction projects face various challenges in supply chain management that can affect the success of the project. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the SCOR Digital Standard (DS) method in improving supply chain performance in the Cijurey Dam Package 1 Project. The research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches by implementing SCOR Racetrack including the Engage, Define, Analyze, Plan, and Launch stages. The results showed that the baseline performance of RL.2.6 Delivery Performance to Commit Date only reached 73.33% of the target of 90%, Inventory Turnover (ITO) <1.1 times/year of the target ?2 times/year, and Days of Inventory (DOI) reached ±250 days exceeding the maximum target of 180 days. The root of the problem is identified through the 5 Why Analysis and Fishbone Diagram, namely the absence of consignment inventory and regular reconciliation meetings with vendors. The recommended improvement strategies include four improvement projects: Procurement Terms & Conditions Review, Freight Carrier Delivery Performance Evaluation, Regular Reconciliation Meetings, and Consignment Inventory. The implementation of this strategy is projected to increase RL.2.6 to ?90%, reduce the DOI to ?180 days, increase ITO to ?2 times/year, with financial benefits reaching Rp1.29 billion per year.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Work Motivation, Compensation, and Work Involvement on Performance, mediated by Job Satisfaction, among employees of the Central Statistics Agency of Central Kalimantan Province. Employing a quantitative, correlational approach, the research involved 380 employees, with 170 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were gathered through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via AMOS, supported by descriptive analysis with Microsoft Excel and SPSS. Descriptive results indicate that the average responses for Performance, Job Satisfaction, Work Motivation, and Compensation were categorized as “agree,” while Work Involvement was rated “strongly agree.” The modified AMOS model produced the following structural equations: Job Satisfaction (KEP) = -0.002?Work Motivation (MK) - 0.025?Compensation (KOM) + 0.918?Work Involvement (KK), R²?=?0.802; Performance (KIN) = 0.776?Job Satisfaction (KEP) + 0.095?Work Motivation (MK) + 0.180?Compensation (KOM) - 0.017?Work Involvement (KK), R²?=?0.901. The findings reveal that Work Motivation does not significantly influence Job Satisfaction and does not directly affect Performance, though it has an indirect impact through Job Satisfaction. Job Satisfaction significantly affects Performance, while Compensation shows no significant relationship with either variable. Work Engagement strongly affects Job Satisfaction but not Performance. Collectively, Work Motivation, Compensation, and Work Involvement explain 80.2% of Job Satisfaction variance and 90.1% of Performance variance.

Abstract

Abstract. In the hospital service sector, cleaning service personnel play a vital role in maintaining hygiene standards and overall service quality. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on knowledge sharing as a mechanism to improve the performance of hospital cleaning service employees at PT ISS Indonesia, Surabaya Branch. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 109 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was performed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study show that (1) transformational leadership has a significant effect on knowledge sharing, (2) knowledge sharing has a significant effect on employee performance, (3) transformational leadership has a significant effect on employee performance, and (4) knowledge sharing significantly mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. These findings confirm that transformational leadership not only has a direct impact on performance but also enhances it through a culture of knowledge sharing. The implications of this study highlight the importance of implementing a transformational leadership style that promotes openness, trust, and a culture of information sharing within the operational work environment. This approach can continuously improve the effectiveness, service quality, and productivity of cleaning service employees.

Abstract

Companies listed on the stock exchange are required to publicly disclose reports such as annual and financial statements through the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) authority and their respective company websites for investors and potential investors. This study aims to analyze and empirically test the effect of ESG performance and profitability on firm value, with audit quality as a moderating variable, in companies listed on the IDX and the ESG Index BGK Foundation in 2020–2022. This quantitative research applies the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) method, processed using Eviews 12. The population in this study consists of energy sector companies, with a sample of 19 firms. Based on the study’s results, it was found that ESG performance has a negative effect on company value, while profitability has no significant effect on company value. The results of the moderation test indicate that the audit quality variable weakens the negative effect of ESG performance on firm value; however, audit quality does not moderate the effect of profitability on firm value. The implications of this study highlight that, while ESG initiatives are crucial for long-term sustainability, excessive costs or limited market understanding of ESG practices may initially reduce firm value—particularly in developing markets where investors still prioritize short-term profitability.

Abstract

Based on SFAC (Statement of Financial Accounting Concepts) No. 8, the purpose of financial reporting is to provide relevant financial information to external users to support their decision-making. This study aims to examine the influence of pressure, capability, collusion, opportunity, rationalization, and ego on financial statement fraud at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia by considering the role of anti-fraud policies as a moderating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach using panel data from eight Islamic Commercial Banks over the period 2018–2024, analyzed using fixed-effects regression. The results indicate that anti-fraud policies are unable to moderate the influence of pressure and capability on financial statement fraud. However, anti-fraud policies effectively moderate the influence of collusion, opportunity, rationalization, and ego, thereby reducing or weakening financial statement fraud. These findings reinforce the validity of fraud theory in the context of Islamic Commercial Banks and emphasize the importance of implementing effective anti-fraud policies to mitigate behavioral and systemic fraud risks. The practical implications of this study highlight the need to strengthen internal oversight and organizational ethical culture as part of a sustainable fraud prevention strategy in the Islamic commercial banking sector.

Abstract

Along with technological development, platforms that combine e-commerce and social media—known as social commerce—have emerged. In Indonesia, TikTok Shop has grown rapidly, as reflected by the increase in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). TikTok Shop enables users to shop online while engaging with social media in a single application without switching platforms. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of the growing use of TikTok Shop by examining the role of attributes from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, habit, and gender, as well as additional variables including perceived price-saving orientation, risk, and trust. Data were collected through an online questionnaire involving 200 Generation Z respondents aged 17 to 29 years, residing in DKI Jakarta, who had made purchases through TikTok Shop within the past three months. Using a quantitative approach with the analysis of the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM), the results showed that habit, price-saving orientation, and trust exerted a positive and significant influence on the intention to use TikTok Shop. Conversely, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, and perceived risk did not demonstrate significant influence. Furthermore, gender did not moderate the relationships among these variables. These findings confirm that habit, cost-saving orientation, and trust play dominant roles in fostering the continuous intention of TikTok Shop use among Generation Z, offering valuable insights for service providers to develop more effective strategies.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the largest archipelagic state, plays a critical role in global maritime navigation. Accurate and up-to-date hydrographic data are essential for ensuring navigational safety, marine resource management, and national maritime security. Indonesia Hydro-Oceanographic Centre (Pushidrosal), as the National Hydrographic Office, is responsible for producing and maintaining nautical charts according to international standards. This study aims to develop strategies to enhance Pushidrosal’s capability in fulfilling hydrographic coverage and meeting the Mandatory IMO Member Audit Scheme (MIMSAS). Using a qualitative descriptive approach supported by GIS-based scoring and SWOT analysis, this research identifies national hydrographic data coverage gaps and proposes prioritized survey strategies. The results show that a systematic and data-driven prioritization of survey areas is critical for achieving compliance with international obligations under SOLAS and UNCLOS. The study provides practical recommendations for Pushidrosal’s strategic planning to accelerate hydrographic data acquisition.

Abstract

In the increasingly competitive banking industry, employee performance has become a critical factor in determining organizational success. This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and work motivation on the performance of marketing division employees at PT XXX. The pre-survey results indicated that the work environment was perceived as suboptimal, particularly in terms of facilities, workplace comfort, and collaborative support. Work motivation was largely driven by rewards, recognition, and achievement orientation, although weaknesses remained in the clarity of performance targets and promotion opportunities. A quantitative approach was employed using survey methods with 35 respondents and multiple linear regression analysis was applied to test the hypotheses. The findings reveal that the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.956, while work motivation also exerts a significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.474. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence employee performance, contributing 54.6% to performance variation, with the remaining 45.4% explained by other factors outside the model. These results highlight that improving the quality of the work environment and enhancing employee motivation are strategic steps to strengthen the performance of PT XXX’s marketing division employees.
