Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the impact of transfer pricing, yield management, thin capitalization, and hedging on tax avoidance. Tax avoidance refers to the legal framework for transactions that obtain tax benefits or relief by exploiting existing tax loopholes to minimize or avoid paying taxes owed. This research applied descriptive and quantitative methods. Population of this research consisted of coal mining companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange between 2015 and 2019. Using targeted sampling techniques, the sample was drawn from 16 companies that met the research criteria. The statistical program Eviews12 was used to process the data. Transfer pricing, earning management, or hedging had no significant effect on tax avoidance. Simultaneously, thin capitalization had a significant effect on tax avoidance.

Abstract

Each individual has a different shopping orientation which is shown through opinions, desires, and individual activities when shopping. Currently, individual understanding of shopping orientation is the ease of shopping. The convenience of this shopping can be obtained through online shopping marketplaces. Some of the attributes that exist in the online marketplace as a shopping place used by consumers are having a variety of choices in payment methods, ease of use, data security factors are also important including security in transactions, product guarantees, speed of delivery and related shipping fee promos offered, this is often a consideration for consumers to buy a product on an online marketplace. Online marketplace providers such as Shopee, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, and others each provide comment column features such as product reviews and product discussions to assist customers in making purchases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of shopping orientation, product attributes and electronic word of mouth partially on online purchase intentions in marketplaces using multiple linear regression analysis. The research population was Indonesian people who had purchased online marketplaces with a sample of 270 respondents using the purposive sampling method, and then processed with the help of SPSS 25 statistical software. The results showed that from multiple linear regression analysis and testing the shopping orientation hypothesis, product attributes and electronic word of mouth positively and significantly influences purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the HRM operational function (particularly in terms of procurement, training and development, integration, compensation, maintenance, discipline, and employee termination), the obstacles that hinder the successful implementation of the HRM operational function, as well as to recommend alternative strategies in overcoming the problem. related to HR at Hotel Yusro Jombang. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach which is analyzed using an interactive analysis model and combined with a SWOT analysis technique, then tested using a source triangulation technique. The results showed that the implementation of HRM at Yusro Hotel could not be said to be effective because the functions of employee procurement, employee development, employee integration, employee maintenance, and employee discipline had not been implemented optimally. Barriers that occur during the implementation process of human resource management at Hotel Yusro Jombang are divided into two types, namely revenue and management incompetence in planning various HR management programs. And from the results of calculations and analysis on the Cartesian SWOT diagram, it shows that the position of the implementation of human resource management at the Yusro Hotel Jombang is in quadrant III, so the strategy that can be used to overcome HR problems at the Yusro Hotel is the WO strategy, namely by holding employee team building, reviewing re-employment process, realization of the competency certification program, and promotion of products and services through various means.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether or not there is herding behavior seen from the value of the debt to equity ratio, the effect of sustainability reports on firm performance and determining which company leaders or followers are better in firm performance. The herding behavior observed in this study was between companies in five countries. The total number of companies is 127 companies are Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines with an observation period of 2018 to 2022. To measure sustainability report disclosure, a checklist is made based on the suitability of the disclosures with 91 indicators. Firm performance is proxied by Tobin's Q, return on assets and net profit margin, while the controls in this study are proxied by total assets and firm age. The analytical method used in this study is by measuring the herding manager index and the SEM - PLS method using the WARP PLS application version 7.0. From the test results it was found that there was herding capital structure in the five observation countries, disclosure of sustainability reports had a positive effect on return on assets and Tobin's Q. Meanwhile, disclosure of sustainability reports had no effect on net profit margin. Then from the test results it is proven that the leader company is better than the follower company in firm performance.

This study also aims to determine the indirect effect between profitability and liquidity on firm value through the dividend policy. This research used property, real estate, and building construction companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research uses five recent years since 2018 until 2022 and selected by purposive sampling method. The analysis was performed using multiple linear regressions analysis method.

Abstract

Purpose: The fundamental goal of this research is to develop a conceptual framework for performance, continuous process improvement, and total quality management. Design/Methodology/Approach: Exploring the literature on total quality management and other variables in connection to various relationships has been the subject of recent investigations. Findings: This paper provides an introduction of total quality management, explains how it transforms into a sophisticated strategy employed in modern businesses, and discusses the literature-based research that has been done in this field. This study suggests that total quality management, a concept popularized by Deming, be investigated in a range of industries in order to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Research Restrictions/Implications: This study is an integrative evaluation of the prior research on the idea of overall quality management and its connection. Future researchers are urged to make use of descriptive survey and empirical technique to generalize its findings. Originality/Value: To reflect comprehensive quality management, continuous improvement, and process performance, this study created a conceptual framework and model. The author created a summary table to display earlier research on the subject, including authors, topics, countries, methodologies, and findings. In light of the aforementioned, the researcher filled a knowledge gap.

Abstract

Objective of research is to investigate the effect of customer experience and brand awarness on customer loyalty among Yoshinoya restaurant customers in DKI Jakarta, both directly and indirectly with mediation of customer satisfaction. This study use quantitative approach. A survey was conducted with 171 respondents who had consumed products of Yoshinoya restaurants in DKI Jakarta. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Model with AMOS program. The research findings indicate that the customer experience provided by Yoshinoya restaurants does not have a strong and significant relationship with customer loyalty of Yoshinoya restaurant customers in DKI Jakarta. However, it was found that brand awareness has a strong and significant influence on customer loyalty of Yoshinoya restaurant customers in DKI Jakarta. When mediated by customer satisfaction, turns out customer experience does have a strong and significant relationship with customer loyalty. Enhanced, when brand awareness mediated by customer satisfaction, has a stronger and more significant influence on customer loyalty of Yoshinoya restaurant customers in DKI Jakarta. The implications of this research suggest that companies can enchance customer loyalty by improving customer experience, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction. This can be achieved through the provision of high-quality food, efficient service in terms of speed, a strong brand, and most importantly ensuring customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is crucial in transforming a negative into a more positive one.

Abstract

This study aims to know and identify Jogja values through art learning in kindergartens of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research method takes a qualitative approach with the process of data collection through observation, interviews and documentation as well as triangulating data to obtain data devalidation. The results of this study found that this art learning includes the development of children's dance, songs and children's traditional dolanan. The values contained in Jogja are the main ingredients in pouring this art learning material. These values are Hamemayu Hayuning Buwana, Sangkan paraning dumadi and manunggaling kawula gusti. In teaching these values, techniques in art learning that cannot be separated are elements of appreciation, exploration and expression.
