Abstract

Background: In student organizations, effectiveness and efficiency are crucial factors to ensure the successful execution of work programs, resource management, and the achievement of organizational goals. However, various issues such as lack of coordination, delays in reporting, and inconsistencies in activity implementation still frequently occur. Therefore, the application of Quality Management System (QMS) can serve as an effective approach, providing a systematic framework for planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of student activities. Objective: This study aims to investigate in greater depth the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) to enhance the efficiency of work processes in student activities within higher education institutions. Methods: This research uses a qualitative descriptive method through non-participatory observation, document analysis, and literature review on student organizations at a higher education institution. Results: The implementation of QMS demonstrated significant positive impacts including improved coordination, reduced administrative errors, faster decision-making, and greater adherence to schedules and work targets in student organizational activities. Conclusion: QMS implementation effectively improves work process efficiency in student activities through standardization, systematic documentation, and continuous evaluation, fostering a disciplined, transparent, and results-oriented organizational culture.

Abstract

Background: The ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought significant impacts across various aspects of life, particularly in technological development. One of the most influential technologies is Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is known for its ability to solve problems more efficiently. Objective: For university students, the implementation of AI plays an important role in supporting learning processes, enhancing analytical skills, and facilitating access to information. Methods: This study employs a literature review method by examining various academic sources related to the use of AI in higher education. Results: The findings indicate that AI provides positive impacts on students’ mindsets, including increased creativity, learning effectiveness, and critical-thinking abilities. However, potential negative effects were also identified, such as decreased intellectual independence and excessive reliance on technology. Conclusion: Therefore, appropriate strategies for AI utilization are required to ensure that students do not merely become passive users but instead can maximize the technology to develop a critical, innovative, and competitive mindset.

Abstract

Background: Phishing email attacks are among the most widely occurring and dangerous threats in modern cybersecurity. These attacks aim to deceive individuals into revealing sensitive personal information such as passwords, financial credentials, and identity data. Objective: This study examines various cybersecurity strategies to detect, prevent, and respond to phishing attacks through an extensive literature review. Methods: As phishing methods evolve through social engineering, domain spoofing, malicious hyperlinks, and machine-generated deceptive messages, cybersecurity protection must adopt a layered and adaptive approach. Results: The findings indicate that technological defenses alone are insufficient without strong user awareness and behavioral readiness. Effective protection requires a combination of email authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, encryption technologies, intelligent spam filters, multi-factor authentication, artificial intelligence–based detection systems, digital literacy programs, and collaborative cybersecurity ecosystems involving governments, organizations, and end users. Conclusion: The overall conclusion emphasizes the importance of integrating technical measures with social and legal interventions to minimize the increasing risks of phishing attacks in the digital age.

Abstract

Background: Flowcharts serve as visual tools that support logical thinking through tangible diagrammatic representation. By using simple and universal symbols, students can represent program flow and logical structures more clearly before translating them into actual code. This visual approach may be particularly beneficial for first-year students who struggle with the abstract nature of programming concepts. Objective: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing flowcharts in improving programming logic comprehension among first-year students with no prior programming experience. Methods: This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with observational case study design. Participants were first-year students enrolled in introductory programming courses at Politeknik Negeri Manado. Data were collected through structured observation of classroom sessions, document analysis of student-produced flowcharts and corresponding code, and descriptive narration of student thought processes. Thematic analysis was applied to identify patterns in student performance, common error types, and learning experiences. Results: The findings demonstrate that students who consistently use flowcharts show significant improvement in programming logic understanding compared to those who seldom use them. Flowcharts help students construct systematic problem-solving approaches, visualize logical relationships, identify gaps in reasoning before coding, and reduce logical error rates in written code. Students demonstrated improved comprehension of sequential execution, conditional branching, iteration, and input-output operations. Flowchart users also showed enhanced debugging capabilities, using diagrams as references to locate and correct logical errors efficiently.

Abstract

Background: Digital transformation has become a fundamental component of public service improvement in the era of rapid technological advancement. The Indonesian government continues to introduce and refine digital platforms intended to provide more efficient, transparent, and accessible public services to citizens across all demographic groups. Objective: This study aims to explore student perceptions regarding the effectiveness of government digital public service applications, identify the benefits experienced by student users, and analyze the challenges that hinder optimal service delivery. *Methods: This research employs a qualitative descriptive design with a phenomenological approach to understand the lived experiences of students who utilize digital government applications. Data were collected through observation and in-depth descriptive narration from students who actively use various government digital platforms including population administration systems (Dukcapil Online), health services (Mobile JKN), educational financial assistance (KIP Kuliah), and public complaint systems (SP4N-LAPOR!). Thematic analysis was applied to identify patterns in user experiences across multiple service dimensions.* Results: Findings reveal that students generally view these applications positively, citing ease of access, time efficiency, reduced administrative costs, and increased transparency as major advantages over traditional bureaucratic processes. However, persistent challenges remain including system instability during peak usage periods, high mobile data consumption, unclear instructions and interface designs, insufficient accessibility features for users with disabilities, and concerns about personal data security and privacy. These challenges demonstrate the need for further refinement in technical infrastructure, user-centered design, and stronger digital governance practices.

Abstract

Background: The development of technology, both hardware and software, is rapidly advancing due to the growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which simplifies many human activities, including the software testing process. This research journal discusses how software testing is conducted through a Quality Management System (QMS). Objective: The journal examines whether software testing processes are related to QMS, how significantly QMS supports software testing, and the differences between testing with QMS and without QMS. Methods: This study outlines the stages of software testing through QMS, such as Software Quality Assurance (SQA), Quality Control (QC), Test Maturity Model Integration (TMMI), and performance indicators. According to the American Society for Quality (ASQ), QMS is a formal and documented system consisting of policies, processes, and procedures designed to achieve an organization's quality policies and objectives. Results: Several experts also define QMS as a system that focuses on improving customer satisfaction, process consistency, efficiency, and the overall quality of products or services. Software, according to Roger S. Pressman, is a set of instructions (programs), data structures that allow information manipulation, and related documentation describing operations and functions. Conclusion: Overall, QMS not only improves software product quality but also strengthens the testing process, making it more optimal, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. The integration of QMS frameworks such as ISO 9001:2015, CMMI, and TMMI provides organizations with a competitive advantage by ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Abstract

Background: As digital transformation continues to accelerate, computers are no longer used solely for academic purposes but have become essential tools for supporting entrepreneurial activities. Student entrepreneurs, who are generally adaptive to technological developments, utilize computers to manage data, design promotional materials, communicate with customers, and reach broader markets through digital platforms. Objective: This study explores how the use of computer technology contributes to increasing productivity among students who run online businesses. Methods: Using a descriptive approach through literature review and field surveys involving students actively engaged in online business, this research found that computer technology significantly enhances time efficiency, data management accuracy, and marketing effectiveness. Results: Digital applications such as graphic design tools, financial spreadsheets, and e-commerce management platforms were shown to increase workflow speed and sales performance. The findings indicate that computer technology serves as a productivity catalyst that enables student entrepreneurs to manage their businesses more professionally and competitively. Strengthening digital literacy and providing access to proper technological resources are essential to fully optimizing the benefits of computer-based business management. Conclusion: The study concludes that computer technology significantly enhances the productivity of students engaged in online business. Through appropriate hardware and effective digital applications, students can save time, improve promotional quality, strengthen financial management, and expand market reach.

Abstract

Perum Jasa Tirta I telah mengimplementasikan sistem ERP-SAP untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas informasi akuntansi. ERP-SAP diharapkan dapat memberikan data yang lebih akurat dan relevan dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh implementasi ERP-SAP terhadap kualitas informasi akuntansi di perusahaan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh implementasi ERP-SAP terhadap kualitas informasi akuntansi di Perum Jasa Tirta I, serta memberikan bukti empiris yang mendukung Teori Kegunaan Keputusan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui kuesioner. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari pegawai Perum Jasa Tirta I yang merupakan pengguna sistem ERP-SAP. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh/sensus. Analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan metode SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi ERP-SAP berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas informasi akuntansi di Perum Jasa Tirta I. Penggunaan ERP-SAP mampu meningkatkan akurasi dan relevansi informasi akuntansi yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris bahwa implementasi ERP-SAP berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas informasi akuntansi. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat membantu Perum Jasa Tirta I dalam mengevaluasi dan meningkatkan efektivitas sistem ERP-SAP, serta menjadi referensi bagi perusahaan lain yang mempertimbangkan untuk mengadopsi ERP-SAP.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Electronic Word of Mouth dan persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian KFC di platform TikTok pada konsumen Generasi Z di Kota Surabaya. Electronic Word of Mouth diukur melalui intensitas ulasan, komentar, dan pengalaman konsumen yang dibagikan di TikTok, sedangkan persepsi harga diukur melalui keterjangkauan harga, kesesuaian harga dengan kualitas, dan manfaat yang dirasakan oleh konsumen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah konsumen Generasi Z di Kota Surabaya yang pernah melakukan pembelian KFC melalui platform TikTok. Proses pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu pemilihan sampel dengan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan metode purposive sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 110 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Electronic Word of Mouth dan persepsi harga berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian KFC di TikTok pada konsumen Generasi Z di Kota Surabaya.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variabel-variabel yang mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Keputusan nasabah dalam mengambil kredit pegawai ASN pada Bank Pembangunan Daerah Papua. Variabel dependen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Keputusan Kredit dan variabel indepeden menggunakan Kualitas Pelayanan,  Prosedur Kredit dan Suku Bunga Kredit dengan variabel mediasi Citra Merek. Penelitian ini menggunakan jumlah sampel yang sebanyak 138 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode analisis data kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, prosedur, dan suku bunga kredit terhadap keputusan nasabah dalam memilih kredit pegawai pada PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Papua, dengan citra merek sebagai variabel mediasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Kualitas Pelayanan,  Prosedur Kredit dan Suku Bunga Kredit secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap Citra Merek. Citra Merek dapat Mediasi pada variabel Kualitas Pelayanan,  Prosedur Kredit dan Suku Bunga Kredit terhadap Keputusan Kredit.
