Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of population growth to community welfare in Angkola Barat District, with income as an intervening variable. The continuously increasing population growth potentially affects the level of community welfare, both directly and indirectly through income. This study uses a quantitative approach with path analysis methods to determine the direct and indirect relationships between variables. Primary data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 respondents selected purposively, while secondary data was obtained from relevant institutions. The results of the study show that population growth has a direct negative effect on community welfare. However, when mediated by the income variable, the effect becomes insignificant. These findings indicate that income increases have not been able to offset the negative impact of population growth on welfare. Therefore, policies are needed that not only control the rate of population growth but also encourage increased economic productivity of the community so that income can truly have a positive impact on welfare. This research contributes to regional development planning that is oriented towards sustainable welfare.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of parents in improving children’s learning motivation. The children refered to in this paper are children of primary school age (SD/MI) is those aged 3 years to 6 years. Parents have of very important role in the education of their children among them as a motivator. In this case the parents should always give encouragement to their children to have a passion in learning, especially in home study as a supporter of successful achiement in school. The efforts that can be done by parents in improving motivation to learn children include: 1) knowing the results, 2) providing rewards and punishments, 3) provide the necessary tools or facilities. Abstract

Direct regional head elections (pilkada) are a manifestation of the people's sovereignty to choose a leader who will form a government. The momentum of the regional elections will determine how a region will develop in the next five years. A campaign is a series of efforts made by a candidate pair to promote or fight for a particular goal to the public. Political communication is a symptom of making political interests channeled through appropriate and effective media. Through this media, political messages from candidates become one of the goals for building a political image, which is related to the formation of public opinion. Political communication actors play a role in the process of delivering and receiving political messages. Meanwhile, political messages have relevance to public resources. The SUKSES Media Center was initially to carry out personal branding for candidates. Its applies a communication planning approach by managing and disseminating political messages with the aim of a positive candidate image, namely: 1) setting goals; 2) developing various premises; 3) choosing a direction of action; 4) formulating various activities needed to translate plans into action; and 5) re-planning to correct (evaluate).

Abstract

Efforts to reduce the Maternal Mortality Rate and Infant Mortality Rate in Indonesia by providing Continuity of Care (COC), namely continuous midwifery care provided comprehensively starting from pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum, to family planning, as well as continuous care according to wishes and is not authoritarian and respects women's choices. Objective: to provide continuous care from pregnancy to family planning to Mrs. L, 28 years old, G1P0A0, at the North Cilacap Community Health Center 1. Method : descriptive research design with a case study approach. Results: Mrs. L, 28 years old, G1P0A0, was pregnant with complications, namely placenta previa at 37 weeks of gestation. The delivery process was carried out by cesarean section due to indications of placenta previa. Postpartum monitoring and the condition of the newborn went well and without complications. The mother chose family planning using intrauterine devices (IUDs) to manage her next pregnancy.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji peran gender dalam pelestarian nilai-nilai adat dan budaya tradisi Memetri Bumi di Desa Widarapayung Wetan, Kabupaten Cilacap, Indonesia. Tradisi Memetri Bumi, sebagai upacara syukur atas hasil bumi, melibatkan partisipasi aktif baik laki-laki maupun perempuan dalam berbagai tahapan ritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis bagaimana pembagian peran berdasarkan gender berkontribusi terhadap keberlangsungan tradisi ini serta nilai-nilai adat dan budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya. Melalui studi lapangan dan wawancara dengan tokoh masyarakat serta partisipan ritual, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun terdapat pembagian tugas yang berbeda, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam memastikan kelancaran upacara dan pewarisan nilai-nilai seperti gotong royong, rasa syukur, dan keharmonisan dengan alam. Artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya perspektif gender dalam memahami dinamika pelestarian tradisi lokal di tengah perubahan zaman.

Abstract

The Out of all the criminal penalties that are now in place, the death sentence is the harshest. The death penalty does, in fact, provide legal justification for the practice. But the death penalty has drawn criticism from a number of quarters or requirements that must be satisfied before it may be applied. The state as an institution responsible for maintaining order requires it to take appropriate steps. Criminal is a difficult choice in tackling crime. This is what causes the criminal law to be said to be like a double-edged sword, because in addition to protecting the public it also injures those suspected of committing a crime. With the existence of sentencing theories, sentencing will be more appropriate and fair based on the weight of the crimes committed and the sanctions that will be given to the perpetrators.

Abstract

Construction projects are one of the activities that have a certain period of time. However,The purpose of this study is to obtain what factors affect the Contract Change Order (CCO) on the implementation time and find out the presentation of the influence of free variables on the implementation time of the New Classroom Construction (RKB) project of Madrasah Tsanawiyah NEGERI 6 Central Maluku. The analysis method used in this study is with the help of the SPSS program version 20. In the New Classroom Construction Project (RKB) Madrasah Tsanawiyah NEGERI 6 Central Maluku there are several factors that affect the contract change order on the implementation time. Among them are construction factors, administrative factors, resources, natural events and the presentation of the influence of independent variables on implementation time, which is 83.4% and the remaining 16.6% is influenced by other variables that were not tested in this study

Abstract

The high demand for corn in the domestic market presents an opportunity for seed companies in Indonesia. PT. Soebandi Raja Agriculture is an Indonesian company that plays a key role in meeting the need for high-quality corn seeds. In the corn seed production process, in addition to seed quality, proper product packaging is also essential. Distribution channels are also crucial for a company. This study aims to identify the packaging process and marketing distribution channels for hybrid corn seeds implemented at PT. Soebandi Raja Agriculture. This study uses a qualitative approach conducted inductively to obtain comprehensive and in-depth data. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews. The results show that the hybrid corn seed packaging process is carried out manually with the help of simple tools such as digital scales and sealer machines. PT. Soebandi Raja Agriculture applies three distribution channel patterns: cooperation with the government, direct sales, and free market targeting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of web-based learning evaluation using Kahoot as an innovation to enhance evaluation quality in the digital era. Technological transformation requires teachers to implement evaluation methods that are more interactive and efficient compared to traditional evaluations, which tend to be monotonous and less engaging. Kahoot, as a web-based evaluation platform, offers an interactive quiz model with gamification elements that can improve students’ motivation, participation, and engagement. This research employs a literature review method by examining journal articles, books, proceedings, and research reports published within the last five years. The analysis was conducted using a content analysis approach to produce theoretical synthesis regarding the effectiveness, benefits, and challenges of using Kahoot in learning evaluation. The findings indicate that Kahoot plays a significant role in supporting more engaging learning evaluations through game mechanics, leaderboards, immediate feedback, and dynamic visual displays. The platform also assists teachers in improving evaluation efficiency by providing automatic and real-time results. However, Kahoot presents several limitations, such as dependence on stable internet connectivity, the need for adequate devices, limited types of questions, and the necessity of training for both teachers and students. Despite these challenges, Kahoot’s potential as an evaluation tool remains high due to its ability to enhance students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Therefore, integrating Kahoot into learning evaluation can be an effective strategy to foster more innovative learning processes aligned with the needs of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical role of teachers in designing essay test instruments to stimulate critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in elementary school science subjects. The study used a literature review method by examining various scientific sources, such as SINTA-indexed national journal articles, textbooks, and relevant research that discuss learning evaluation, test instrument development, and teacher pedagogy. The results of the study indicate that the teacher's pedagogical role significantly determines the quality of essay test instruments, especially in selecting cognitive indicators, compiling contextual stimuli, and selecting operational verbs that are appropriate to the level of critical thinking skills. Teachers who have adequate pedagogical competence are able to design essay test instruments that encourage students to analyze information, provide logical reasons, and develop answers systematically. In addition, HOTS-based essay tests have proven effective in measuring and stimulating critical thinking skills in the context of science learning. This study emphasizes the importance of improving teachers' pedagogical competence in developing evaluation instruments so that the learning process is more meaningful and oriented towards the development of higher-order thinking skills.
