Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research that aims to determine whether there is an influence of the debate learning model on STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia students. The independent variable in this study is the use of the debate learning model, while the dependent variable is the discussion skills of STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia students. The population in this study were all students of STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia, while the samples were class 2C students in the odd semester as an experimental class with 39 students and class 2D students as a control class with 40 students. The research data were obtained by giving a debate test in discussion activities. The data analysis technique is Anacova. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the average value of the experimental class was 80.13 and the control class was 70.25 with standard deviations of 8.310 and 9.125, respectively. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis obtained a significant value of 0.000 < α, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. so it can be concluded that the debate learning model in its application is said to have a significant effect on increasing debating skills in scientific discussion activities of STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia students.

Abstract

Nata de leri is nata that is processed using rice washing water which has the potential to become a fiber-rich snack. The purpose of this study was to determine the yield, thickness, and fiber content of nata de leri with variations in the concentration of granulated sugar as a carbon source (ie 5% and 10% granulated sugar). The results showed that Nata de leri with 5% sugar concentration produced 66.14% yield, 0.62 cm thickness, and 14.21% fiber content, while the 5% granulated sugar treatment had 45.31% yield, thickness 0, 67 cm, and 12.20% fiber content.

Abstract

This resaerch aimed at finding out the factors which caused the students of STKIP PI had difficulties in learning English. This research applied qualitative method by adapting and applying coding method. This research also applied coding method in data analysis. Coding is a process of qualitative data dispalying in the forms of words, phrases, sentences which were classified as codes and labels. The data collected until saturated. Tha Data analysis includesd three stages; data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. The subjects of the research were taken from 30 students of Biology Education Studi Program in Semester two Academic Year 2019-2020 and 30 students of Economics Education Studi Program in Semester eight Academic Year 2019-2020, STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia. The result of the this research showed that there were two general factors which caused the students of STKIP PI had difficulties in learning English. Internal factors which were from the students themselves that included the lack of motivation in learning English, laziness, lack of awareness on the benefits of English itslef. Mean while, the external factors are devided into two main factors; the first was dealing with the material of English subject like pronunciation, vocabulary mastery, words classification, reading ability, spelling, homonym as well as translating. While the second external factors were dealing with the lack of facilities and resourches which could support the learning process, lack of time and supporting athmosphere in practicing English. Based of the findings, it may concluded generally that there were internal and external factors which caused the students of STKIP PI had difficultties in learning English.

Abstract

This research started from the writer's curiosity about the transformational leadership of the sub-district head at the Sungai Tabukan District Office, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The approach used is quantitative research methods collected through the distribution of previously prepared questionnaires. This type of research is explanatory research and aims to provide an explanation of why something happens or answer the question "why". The results of this study indicate that 1) the factor of openness to experience (X1) on transformational leadership (Y) the Camat at the Sungai Tabukan District Office has a positive and significant influence. 2) Conscientiousness factor (X2) on transformational leadership (Y) The sub-district head at Sungai Tabukan sub-district office has a positive and significant influence. 3) The Agreeablenes factor (X3) on transformational leadership (Y) the Camat at the Sungai Tabukan Subdistrict Office has a positive and significant influence. 4) The factor of emotional intelligence (X4) on transformational leadership (Y) The Camat at the Sungai Tabukan District Office has a positive and significant influence. 5) The motivational factor (X5) on transformational leadership (Y) the Camat at the Sungai Tabukan District Office has a positive and significant influence. 6) The decision-making factor (X6) on transformational leadership (Y) the Camat at the Sungai Tabukan District Office has a positive and significant influence. 7) The factors of openness to experience, conscientiousness, agreeableness, emotional intelligence, motivation, and decision making together have a significant effect on transformational leadership, this can be proven by the F-test results obtained that the F-count is 23,286 greater than the F table 2,016 at the level of sig. 0.00.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of Covid-19 on the implementation of evaluations in schools using a descriptive survey research method with a sample of 15 teachers. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique consists of the editing stage, the data input stage and the tabulation stage, which then calculates the frequency of the data and then presents it as a percentage. The results showed the percentage level of each aspect, namely: 1) Difficulty in carrying out evaluations 21.19%, 2) Application of evaluation methods that were fun for students 41.6%, 3) Student score gain during online learning 22.52% and student achievement 15,23%. The conclusion of this study is that Covid-19 has a negative impact on the implementation of learning evaluations in schools due to the unpreparedness of learning facilities and infrastructure in schools to carry out online learning so that it is necessary to increase the creativity and quality of teachers' pedagogic competencies through workshops and seminars, as well as equitable distribution of technological developments. All regions in Indonesia have adequate internet access.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which aims to improve student learning outcomes in class VIII4 SMPN 40 Makassar, through the application of the Resource Based Learning model. The research subjects were 32 students consisting of 15 males and 17 females. The first Cycle was held in 2 meetings, data collection was carried out using learning outcomes tests and then the data obtained were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results obtained are as follows: (1) Biology learning outcomes of class VIII4 students of SMPN 40 Makassar in the first cycle are in the complete category as many as 21 people, and 11 students incomplete. With an average score of 69.84 out of 32 people with the highest score of 80 and the lowest score of 50. (2) Biology learning outcomes of class VIII4 students of SMPN 40 Makassar in the second cycle were in the complete category of 32 people or in other words all completed. With an average score of 81.93 out of 32 people, the highest score was 95 and the lowest was 70. (3) There was an increase in biology learning outcomes in class VIII4 students of SMPN 40 Makassar from cycle I to cycle II. The results of the study concluded that the resource based learning model could improve biology learning outcomes in class VIII4 students of SMPN 40 Makassar.

Abstract

The problem to be studied in this research is to determine the implementation of the policy of the family of hope program (PKH) in the field of education in the Tamalatea District, Jeneponto Regency and the benefits of the family of hope program (PKH) in the education sector to the target group in the Tamalatea District, Jeneponto Regency. The study used primary data and secondary. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews and questionnaires. This type of research uses qualitative research. Subjects in the study amounted to 50 people using a purpose sampling technique. While the data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis. Based on the research data, it shows that the implementation of PKH in the education sector in Tamalatea District has been implemented well starting from the data collection process, the mentoring process, and the distribution of aid, although there are several inhibiting factors in the running of the program. The socialization is still not optimal, there is a need for data collection of PKH recipients in the education sector by the government so that the poor who have not been registered can get assistance, the need for beneficiary families (KPM) to encourage or motivate their children who are not committed to their obligations and diligently participate in group meetings. And PKH in the education sector is useful in terms of improving the quality of human resources because it can increase gross enrollment rates and reduce dropout rates. And in the long term, helping to alleviate poverty because it has facilitated the education of children who receive assistance.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the implementation of online learning at SMK Yaspib Bontolempangan. This study uses a quantitative method with a case study approach. Data collection is done by interview. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on research data, it was found that learning during the Covid-19 period was carried out online. Online learning is carried out using the whatsapp application. Online learning is carried out on good cooperation between teachers, students, and parents during online learning and assignments given by the teacher. The process of teaching and learning activities does not run effectively and efficiently due to limitations on the internet network.

Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes through crossword puzzle learning strategies for seventh grade students of SMP PGRI 4 Makassar. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII SMP PGRI 4 Makassar, amounting to 15 0 people. The implementer of the action is a researcher who acts as a teacher. Methods of data collection is done through observation, tests and documentation. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle was carried out with one meeting. One cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed that the use of crossword puzzle learning strategies in social studies learning could improve the learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMP PGRI 4 Makassar.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes in Economics through the Information Search Learning Model in class X SMA Negeri 5 Bone. The subjects of this study were 30 students in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This implementation was carried out for four meetings through two cycles consisting of four activities, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection model was carried out by means of observation and tests. While the data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the data, the results showed that the learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average of 66.25 and in the second cycle increased to 82.5 and the increase in student mastery in the first cycle was 25% and in the second cycle was 90%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Information Search Learning Model can improve social studies learning outcomes in class X SMA Negeri 5 Bone.
