Abstract

Village office services provide satisfaction for the community by completing services on time and supported by adequate human resources and infrastructure. The Pebaun Hilir Village Office has not fully provided satisfaction in public administration services for the village community This is due to inadequate infrastructure, especially the unavailability of a permanent village office, resulting in less than optimal service activities and most of them are carried out at employees' homes. This study aims to find out how the Public Service at the Pebaun Hilir Village Office, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research is descriptive qualitative by using secondary data collection techniques by conducting literature studies and secondary data sources as well as conducting direct research to the field to obtain primary data through observation, documentation, and interviews. In this study, researchers used the theory of Sitorus (2009; 86) which consists of 6 indicators namely Justice, Comfort, Care, Reliability, Convenience, and Trust. The results showed that the services of the Pebaun Hilir Village office in village government services had not been carried out optimally It is known that there is still a lack of provision of facilities and infrastructure supporting services such as the absence of a special waiting room for the applicant community, service reception counters and the provision of permanent village offices so that most service activities are carried out in the village. House. office employees, as well as the lack of employee cooperation in providing services so that service achievement is less than optimal.

Abstract

The hospitality industry is one of the industries that has been hit hard during the pandemic. According to the chairman of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) during the pandemic, 62 hotels were sold in Bandung. Due to the decline in hotel occupancy rates during the pandemic due to large-scale restrictions. The hotel industry that survives is also required to implement strict health protocols which have an impact on reducing face-to-face interactions between hotel employees. The research was conducted through a limited survey. Researchers also observe and interview in which respondents answered questions that had been prepared by the researcher. The results showed that the majority of respondents answered that information system changes made by minimizing physical or face-to-face contact had caused misunderstandings in carrying out agreed tasks in online forums such as WhatsApp and other online communication features such as Zoom and Google Meet. The impacts that respondents complain about are communicators who misplace themselves in situations faced by other people, multiple interpretations messages, misunderstood messages, individuals less respect and not ready to listen to work-related complaints. It causes mistakes made by workers in the hotel industry which have an impact on the services provided to customers.

Abstract

In Law Number 44 of 2007 Batam City is designated as a port and free trade area. In this free trade area, some barriers to trade such as tariffs and quotas are abolished. This makes Batam City considered to be able to increase imports in Indonesia and can reduce domestic production. Therefore, the government issued Minister Of Finance Regulation Number 199/Pmk.010/2019 Regarding Provisions On Customs, Excise And Tax On Import Of Parcel. The research objective is to analyze the implementation of PMK No. policy. 199 in Batam City. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the theoretical basis proposed by Donald Van Meter and Carl Van Horn. The results of this study indicate that The Implementation Policy Of The Minister Of Finance Regulation Number 199/Pmk.010/2019 Regarding Provisions On Customs, Excise And Tax On Import Of Parcels In The City Of Batam has gone quite well, but in its implementation there are still obstacles and rejections from small/medium enterprise and expedition entrepreneurs in Batam City.

Abstract

In South Kalimantan, what are commonly referred to as Banjar people are the (native) residents of the area around the city of Banjarmasin (the area of Sungai Jingah, Kuin and Kampung Melayu). This area extends to the city of Martapura, the capital of Banjar district and the surrounding area. The language used by the Banjar people is the Banjarese language. Before Islam entered the island of Borneo, the inhabitants had embraced the Hindu-Buddhist religion or embraced the Kaharingan belief, which of course was very different from the teachings of Islam. Although the process of Islamization of the people of Kalimantan continues to this day through da'wah and education, the traces of previous religious beliefs and culture cannot be completely erased so that some of them still influence the diversity and culture of Muslims to this day.

Abstract

Today the world's leaders and politicians are no longer able to bring peace to the world. It seems the only hope lies in education. In this century, many educational experts have produced many new theories. However, education has failed to bring peace in the world. It is not the fault of the educators and students, but it can be seen that education is often directed by politics and the economy. Through these many bitter lessons, many have begun to realize that education should not only produce great people but must also produce good people. It is clear that if we have people who are smart but only selfish or people with high intellectual abilities but without moral character so that they are prone to corruption then our country will not be peaceful and prosperous. Islamic values ​​are needed in the world of politics, homes, businesses, factories and offices, schools, to this country that we have. Basically, Islamic values ​​exist in all of us and in all aspects of life. It is not violence and selfishness that we need, but love and compassion in the human heart. I think the most appropriate solution to overcome this problem is to return to human education to become a better human being; education based on the one and only God, which is more appropriate, is Islamic education and Pancasila.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out about the amil da'wah strategy in pre-marital guidance, the supporting and inhibiting factors in providing pre-marital guidance and the implications of pre-marital guidance in the village of allied reeds, Tebas District. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The results of the study found that coaching efforts in the process towards a pre-marital sakinah family are important because this is a building, if the building is solid and strong then a strong foundation must be made. The pre-marital guidance steps are by filling out the BP4 form by the bride and groom and correcting if there are errors in the BP4 requirements and the existence of an agreement to be serious in living married life. Supporting and inhibiting factors in the guidance process are apart from the influence of educational background and family influence, social media also has an effect on the supporting process in pre-marital guidance. The inhibiting factor in the pre-marital guidance process is the difference in the views of one's sect and for the bride and groom who are less fluent in reading the Qur'an and less in memorizing the prayers delivered by Amil.

Abstract

Elderly is the final stage of the human life cycle. Every people wants happiness in his life, especially for the elderly who live in nursing homes. The research aims to describe how is the happiness of the elderly who live in nursing homes. The research uses qualitative with a case study approach. This study results showed that all subjects are happy to stay at nursing home and all subjects interpret happiness as feeling happy and satisfied. This is because the subjects can do the activities she likes whether it is related to religious activities or other personal activities, all needs including subjects health are guarenteed, subjects have many friends and subjects has positive hopes for her future.

Abstract

This research is based on the sustainable management of Lubuk Larangan by the Sialang Jaya Village Community. This study aims to analyze the management process from planning to supervision by the people of Sialang Jaya Village and to detect a number of factors that influence the sustainability of Lubuk Larangan management by the people of Sialang Jaya Village. This research method is qualitative through a descriptive qualitative approach. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach that reflects the sustainable management process of Lubuk Larangan's local wisdom. Furthermore, to find out a number of factors that influence the sustainability of the management of local wisdom in Lubuk Larangan. The results of the study indicate that the people of Sialang Jaya Village have succeeded in managing the Lubuk Larangan management process in a sustainable manner which includes planning related to setting goals, strategies and developing management activities; relating to aspects of customary institutions and organizations, their duties and functions; implementation related to fish harvest events; as well as violations of supervision related to preventing agreements not to take fish for a predetermined time. Sustainability management of Lubuk Larangan by the people of Sialang Jaya Village is influenced by a number of factors including socio-economic factors and socio-cultural factors.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the implementation of strategies and obstacles faced by the Office of Investment and One Stop Services in Indragiri Hilir Regency in improving the quality of public services. The theory used in this study from Osborne and Plastrik which suggests that there are several strategies for providing public services that can be applied to government organizations to improve service quality, which are then called the Five C's, namely: Core Strategy, Consequences Strategy. Customer Strategy (Customer strategy), Control Strategy (Control Strategy), and Culture Strategy (Cultural Strategy). The research technique was carried out using qualitative data analysis techniques with a case study approach and the necessary data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation, which were then analyzed using interactive model data according to Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by the Office of Investment and One Stop Integrated Services of Indragiri Hilri Regency in improving the quality of public services using the five C'S strategy have not been optimal enough because there are factors that hinder the implementation of this strategy, namely inadequate infrastructure and resources.
