Abstract

The transformation of digital finance in the Islamic banking sector has become inevitable due to rapid technological progress and rising demand for inclusive efficient services. This study examines the digital transition mechanism implemented by Bank Syariah Indonesia in enhancing financial literacy in urban and rural communities of Majene Regency. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving bank staff, customers, MSMEs, and community leaders. Thematic interactive analysis reveals that digital banking, especially mobile applications, functions as an informal learning medium that gradually improves financial literacy. Urban users benefit more due to better infrastructure and digital skills, while rural communities face barriers including limited access, low technological understanding, and trust issues. Religiosity and adherence to sharia principles also shape adoption decisions. Thus, literacy is influenced not only by knowledge and skills but also by social norms and beliefs. Overall, digital financial transformation represents a multidimensional social process requiring integrated innovation, community engagement, and supportive infrastructure to ensure inclusive and sustainable outcomes. Future strategies should emphasize localized education, user experience adaptation, and trust building initiatives to bridge the urban rural divide and maximize the impact of Islamic digital finance development across diverse community settings effectively.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of digitalization, competence, and organizational support on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), with work motivation according to mediation variables. The research was conducted at the South Solok Regency Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection Office. Design/method/approach: This study uses a quantitative approach with explanatory design and cross-sectional surveys. The research population amounted to 54 ASN. The sampling technique uses total sampling, so that the entire population is used as a respondent. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. Findings: The results of the study show that digitalization, competence, and organizational support have a positive and significant effect on motivation. Motivation also has a positive and significant effect on the performance of ASN. Directly, digitalization, competence, and organizational support have a positive and significant effect on the performance of ASN. Competency is the most dominant factor in improving the performance of ASN, followed by digitalization and organizational support. The results of the mediation test showed that motivation mediated the influence of competence on the performance of ASN partially. Motivation also mediates the influence of digitalization on ASN performance, but with a weak level of mediation. Organizational support does not have a positive and significant effect on the performance of ASN through motivation. Originality/value: This article contributes to the study of public sector human resource management by integrating digitalization, competence, organizational support, motivation, and performance in one empirical model. This research also presents evidence from local government agencies in Indonesia that are facing the demands of digital transformation and limited human resource readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the strategic role of hospital management at RSU Agung Mulia in formulating policies, implementing cyber protection systems, and overcoming operational constraints to ensure health information security and prevent patient data breaches. A qualitative approach with a descriptive research type was applied to uncover facts directly in the field through a natural setting. The primary data collection technique was conducted through in-depth interviews with three key informants, namely the Director, the Head of the Information Technology Unit, and the Head of the Medical Records Department, which was further strengthened by objective direct observation methods. The data analysis procedure followed an interactive model encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing stages. The results of the study indicate that management policies are focused on formulating strict internal regulations, restricting medical data access rights based on job roles, and mandating the signing of staff integrity pacts. The main obstacles faced by the institution include operational budget constraints, outdated hardware conditions, and low digital literacy among administrative staff, which trigger human errors in the service area. Managerial efforts to circumvent these limitations are realized through a financial cluster strategy with hardware leasing options, optimizing operating systems using open-source software, and conducting periodic phishing attack simulations. The implementation of a reward and punishment system combined with the appointment of cyber pioneers has proven successful in altering staff behavior to become more disciplined and increasing operational compliance in safeguarding patient data confidentiality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Earnings Per Share, Total Asset Turnover, Current Ratio, and Price Book Value on the stock prices of energy sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over four years, 2021-2024. Earnings Per Share describes a company's ability to generate net profit, Total Asset Turnover indicates the company's efficiency in utilizing its assets, Current Ratio indicates the company's ability to meet short-term liquidity needs, while Price Book Value describes how the market assesses a company's value based on its book value. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sample selection method uses a purposive sampling method, by selecting energy sector companies that are continuously listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and issue complete financial reports during the study period. The data used are secondary data obtained from annual financial reports and stock price data published on the official website. To analyze the data, the researcher used multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program to examine the effect of all independent variables on stock prices. The results show that Earnings Per Share and Price Book Value have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, while Total Asset Turnover and Current Ratio do not have a significant effect. These findings indicate that investors in the energy sector pay more attention to the level of profitability and market value of a company than to the efficiency of assets and the company's liquidity capabilities in making investment decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the integration of zakat and sadaqah into business activities serves as a driving factor for business growth among members of BMT NU East Java, Purwoharjo Branch. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design to examine the practice of business philanthropy through the integration of zakat and sadaqah as catalysts for the growth of businesses operated by members of BMT NU East Java, Purwoharjo Branch. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving eight purposively selected informants, consisting of BMT managers and entrepreneur members. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member checking to obtain credible and in-depth findings. The results indicate that the integration of zakat and sadaqah functions as a catalyst for business growth among BMT members through three main mechanisms. First, zakat and sadaqah foster a blessing-oriented business mindset that integrates economic, social, and spiritual objectives. Second, Islamic philanthropic practices enhance customer trust and loyalty by strengthening the business's image and moral legitimacy. Third, zakat and sadaqah expand social networks and business opportunities through the development of social capital that facilitates access to information and business collaboration. These findings demonstrate that Islamic philanthropy contributes to strengthening the resilience, competitiveness, and growth of micro-enterprises. Therefore, the development of Sharia-based MSMEs should integrate Islamic philanthropic values as the foundation of a sustainable and spiritually grounded business ecosystem.
