Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in improving community welfare in Sukorejo Village, Loceret District, Nganjuk Regency in 2024. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach. The study population and sample consisted of 139 PKH beneficiary families, thus using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive percentages to assess targeting accuracy, participant understanding, impact on children's education and health, fulfillment of basic needs, and program assistance. The results showed an overall effectiveness score of 80.2%, indicating that PKH implementation was running smoothly. The indicators with the highest achievement were the impact on children's education (88%) and recipient targeting accuracy (85%), while the lowest achievement was in the aspect of meeting basic family economic needs (69%). These findings indicate that PKH not only helps alleviate the burden of household expenses but also strengthens poor families' access to education and health services. Thus, PKH contributes positively to improving the welfare of beneficiary families in Sukorejo Village, although program socialization and the intensity of assistance still need to be strengthened.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee work productivity at Sapadia Hotel Pematangsiantar using an inferential quantitative approach, with a total of 60 respondents selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using structured questionnaires measured on a Likert scale and tested for validity and reliability prior to analysis. Statistical analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, including t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that work motivation has a positive and statistically significant effect on work productivity (β = 0.421; t = 3.87; p < 0.001). Similarly, the work environment exerts a positive and significant influence on work productivity (β = 0.356; t = 3.12; p = 0.003), as evidenced by the F-test results (F = 28.64; p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.57) reveals that 57% of the variation in employee work productivity is explained by work motivation and work environment, while the remaining 43% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These confirm that enhancing employee motivation and improving the quality of the work environment play a critical role in increasing workforce productivity.

Abstract

The phenomenon of rising global gold prices that does not proportionally reduce the volume of demand among the Indonesian Muslim community, possibly the demand is inelastic, with the aim of analyzing the level of elasticity and interpreting it from an Islamic economic perspective. The method used is a literature study by analyzing secondary data on prices and sales of gold bullion from PT Antam Tbk, which is analyzed using the calculation of the price elasticity coefficient of demand (E_d = %ΔQ / %ΔP) and interpreted through the principles of Islamic economics. The results show that a drastic annual gold price surge of 65.08% was only followed by a minor contraction in domestic demand volume of 14.64%, resulting in an E_d value of -0.22502 which confirms the inelastic nature of gold demand. This study reveals that this inelastic nature is consistent with the characteristics of gold as a safe-haven asset whose demand is more influenced by macroeconomic factors, and from an Islamic perspective this finding aligns with maqasid al-shari'ah, specifically hifz al-mal (preservation of wealth), where gold functions justly (‘adl) and balancedly (tawazun) in maintaining public purchasing power while still fulfilling the principle of mutual consent (an-taradin) in transactions. This study recommends further research using multiple regression or data panel econometrics analysis by integrating other external macroeconomic variables

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of perceived cost, perceived ease of use, and perceived security on the choice of interbank transfer platforms among students in the Economics Program at Nurul Jadid University. The study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population consisted of 356 active students from the 2022–2025 cohorts, with a sample of 185 respondents determined using the Isaac and Michael formula through non-probability sampling. Data were collected via a 1–4 Likert-scale questionnaire distributed through Google Forms and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) with the aid of IBM SPSS Statistics Version 25. The results indicate that: (1) cost perception has a positive and significant effect on platform selection (t = 5.300 > 1.973; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05); (2) perceived ease has a positive and significant effect (t = 4.630 > 1.973; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05); (3) perceived security has a positive and significant effect and exerts the greatest influence (t = 5.743 > 1.973; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05); and (4) all three variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect (F = 126.617 > 2.65; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). The adjusted R² value of 0.672 indicates that these variables explain 67.2% of the variation in platform choice, while the remaining 32.8% is influenced by other factors. These findings confirm that cost, convenience, and security are the primary determinants in the choice of interbank transfer platforms.

Abstract

Business competition in the current global era and the rapid development of technology require business people, in this case companies are required to be able to compete quickly, accurately and effectively. Training and development for employees is one of the wise ways taken by companies in an effort to pursue business acceleration that cannot be compromised, but looking at the conditions that occur in the business world today, there are still many companies in Indonesia that experience obstacles and challenges in designing training programs that are in accordance with what the company wants to be effective and efficient. This research aims to analyze human resource development strategies in this case employees through training based on national and international literature to design performance that can effectively help employee quality. The method used is an integrative literature review by analyzing 45 journal articles, 8 textbooks, and 5 official reports from Indonesian government institutions for the 2018-2025 period. The data analysis technique uses qualitative content analysis to identify key themes, patterns, and concepts related to effective training strategies. The results show that an optimal training strategy consists of four main components: performance-based training needs analysis, competency-based program design, contextual and participatory training methods, and work-based training evaluation. In addition, three Indonesian contextual factors were found that affect the effectiveness of training: technological readiness, organizational culture, and the role of the government. The 4P Training Strategy Model is designed as a fairly practical framework by integrating planning, implementation, monitoring, and assessment. The most important factors supporting success include top management commitment, organizational learning culture, and learning technology support. In Indonesia, the main challenges include limited MSME budgets, low digital literacy of trainers, and lack of optimal integration of training with performance management systems. The practical implication of this study is the need for companies to develop training policies that are aligned with business strategies and use the modified Kirkpatrick evaluation model according to the Indonesian context. This research provides a theoretical contribution in the form of integrating the concepts of human resource development, andragogy, and performance management in the context of companies in Indonesia. The recommendation for the next research is to test this training strategy model empirically in the MSME sector and labor-intensive industries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze hospital adaptation strategies in facing changes in health policies, identify obstacles encountered during these processes, and formulate efforts to improve organizational readiness and resilience. A qualitative approach is utilized to explore the phenomena of adaptation, involving data collection through literature reviews of relevant books and scientific journals analyzed descriptively. Results indicate that managerial agility, digital transformation, and the strengthening of human resource capacity are the primary pillars for hospitals to maintain operational stability amidst frequently shifting regulations. Challenges frequently encountered include internal staff resistance to change, limitations in information technology infrastructure, financial pressure due to uncertain claim schemes, and overlapping bureaucracy between central and regional governments. Strategic efforts that can be pursued include establishing a regulation adaptation task force, investing in integrated information systems, and building a communicative and adaptive work culture. Collaboration through strategic partnerships between health facilities and periodic data-based performance evaluations are proven to strengthen the bargaining position and service effectiveness even when institutions are under pressure from dynamic policies.
