Abstract

Objective: Development of analytical methods is in need for the estimation of drugs in pure and different pharmaceutical formulations. A simple, sensitive, rapid, accurate, precise and economic Spectrophotometric and Spectrofluorimetric method were developed and validated for Nadolol in pure and Pharmaceutical formulations. Methods: The wave length (λmax) used for the estimation of Nadolol is 267nm by Spectrophotometry, excitation (λEx)-267nm and emission (λEm)-300nm by Spectrofluorimetry. Results: Linear correlation was obtained between absorbance and concentration of Nadolol in the concentration ranges of 20-60µg/ml with R2 value 0.998 by Spectrophotometry and linear correlation was obtained between intensity of fluorescence and concentration of Nadolol in the concentration ranges of 1-5µg/ml with R2value 0.993 by Spectrofluorimetry in 0.1 N HCl.  The linearity of the calibration curve was validated by the high values of correlation coefficient of regression. LOD and LOQ values for Nadolol were found to be 3.95µg/ml and 11.99µg/ml by Spectrophotometry and 0.90µg/ml and2.74µg/ml by Spectrofluorimetry. Conclusion: Among the two developed methods Spectrofluorimetric method is highly sensitive than the spectrophotometric method. These methods are simple and suitable for the determination of Nadolol in pure and Pharmaceutical preparations.

Abstract

In present material the study some parameters of viburnum fruits harvested in Ukraine. Generally, the research is carried out in order to increase the product range of medicines. However, the quality of viburnum opulus fruit as raw material plant in Ukraine was not regulated due to a lack of the monograph in SPhU 2.0. The feature of our research is that it is only a fragment of the complex system of pharmacognostic study of viburnum opulus fruit. In which raw materials series from the area of preparation on the territory of Ukraine are used. By means of HPLC the comparative research of component content of the free and linked allocation of amino acids of pericarp and a stone of fruits of Viburnum opulus L. is carried out. The content of free amino acids of a stone is the most various-16 connections of such nature. The largest and approximately identical content is characteristic for replaceable amino acid of proline (more that 175 µmol/kg), which is found in a free allocation in a pericarp and a stone and in the linked allocation in a pericarp. Thus, pharmacological and pharmaco-technological tests of crushed fruits of the Viburnum opulus were conducted and also the basic technological parameters were recognized. Abstract

Servant leadership with the impact on the Organizational effectiveness is one of the factors that affect the efficiency and effectiveness, which are considered the most important goals of an organization and it should be taken a step to be strengthened. So, the aim of this research is explaining the impact of servant leadership components on the Organizational effectiveness of staffs of Zabol University. Since the purpose of this research is explaining the impact of the servant leadership components on the Organizational effectiveness of staffs. In terms of goal is applied research, based on the descriptive nature, that is kind of correlation and in terms of procedure is quantitative. The statistical population of this research consists of all staffs of the Zabol University, which are 305 individuals. To determine the sample size by using the method of Morgan table, 169 individuals have chosen and the method of sampling for this study is simple random. In this research, in order to collect theoretical basics and background, it has been used the library studies and articles and academic journals. As well as collecting statistical data in order to test the hypothesis of the research, it has been used field method and questionnaire, that their validity and reliability have been approved. In this study, after gathering the questionnaires, the data file will be formed in SPSS software and according to the number of variables and the type of study as well as the relationships between variables were by using the tables of frequency, diversity indices of bar graphs, the histogram used both descriptive and inferential statistics. In the level of inferential statistics has been used linear regression test and step by step to show the impact of the servant leadership and its components on the Organizational effectiveness of the staffs. The findings of the research showed that the servant leadership and its components of the productivity of staffs of Medical Science University have a significant impact.Keywords: servant leadership, productivity, staffs, Medical Science University

Abstract

For histological comparative study of the teat, Samples of about 1 cm3 were collected from different parts of teat immediately after slaughter of Jenubi cow and her Friesians crossbreed in Misan government. There are histological similarities in the main structures of the teat found between them. The epithelium of teat canal is thicker in teat of crossbreed cow than the epithelium of teat canal of Jenubi cow. Furstenberg’s Rosette ,is composed of about 10-12 of folds of double layered epithelium in a rose flower like pattern, while in the teat of  crossbreed cow the numbers of the fold decrease to about 7-9 folds .Epithelium thickness of  teat canal is particularly increased for Holsteins Crossbreed cow  compared with Jenubi cow.Keywords: Histology, Teat, Jenubi Cow.

Abstract

The aimed of this study is to investigation the toxicity of annatto seeds added to the diet of layer hens for different level. A total of 240 Lohmann hens 67 week of ages for 12 weeks were distributed randomized blocks into four treatments (60 hens) with three replicates 20 hens of each. The following treatments were applied: T1- control feed on based die; T2- feed on Annatto seed at 75gm/100kg, T3- feed on Annatto seed at 150gm/100kg, T4- feed on Annatto seed at 225gm/100gm. In the end of study blood samples were collected from 9 birds from each group from the wing vein in a test tube with coagulant for cytogenetic parameters. The result demonstrated that 2nd group recorded maximum significant (p≤0.05) differences compared to other nourished  groups in all comet assay parameters(%DNA in head, Tail  length,% DNA in tail, Tail moment and Olive tail moment) then followed by T3 regressed maximum significant (p≤0.05) differences of comet length. T1, T4 recorded a significant (p≤ 0.05) decrement in comet assay parameter respectively compared with other studied groups. The addition of Annatto seed at 225gm / 100kg  to the diet of layer hens has an adverse effect on blood lymphocyte and cases highly damage of DNA, while added at level 75gm/kg(T2) and 150 gm/kg(T3)which protect lymphocyte from damage  as shown in comet assay parameters.Keywords: Annatto seed, Single Cell Gel Electrophoresis (comet assay), Layer.

Abstract

Introduction: Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) is the most common benign neoplasm of the larynx among children as a result of HPV infection mainly type 6 and 11. RRP is still a serious problem in which papillomas in the airway cause hoarsness and obstruction as then described as an aggressive form and less aggressive form. Patients undergo multiple surgeries to keep the airway patent and in order to communicate vocally. There are several risk factor that affect on disease aggressivity. That factors include sex, age at diagnosis, papilloma implantation, tracheostomy, number of surgery, and histopathology. Aim: to determine the relationship between risk factors for RRP with the level of aggressiveness in juvenile type and adult type. Method: This research used analytic retrospectively, the data obtained from the medical record of outpatient unit of the otolaryngology-head and neck surgery department. Abstract

The research aims to study the effect of using the distributed and intensive exercise in terms of mental logic in learning some basic skills of futsal, and to compare the effect of the use of the distributed and intensive exercise in the sense of mental reasoning in the remote tests in learning some basic skills of futsal. The researcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research. The research society was chosen deliberately by the students of the second stage in the Faculty of Physical Education - University of Sulaymaniyah for the academic year 2016-2017 (32) students, where the percentage of the sample (75%) of the community of origin, 24 students were divided into two experimental groups with 12 students per group. Eight students were excluded from the pilot experiment. By the draw, the first experimental group was chosen to implement the distributed method while the second group performed the intensive method. The results of the tests were statistically treated and the researcher concluded that the experimental groups achieved progress using the methods of the distributed and intensive training in the sense of mental reasoning to learn some basic skills of futsal halls, and the results showed that the superiority of the first experimental group T-used style exercise distributor on the second experimental group that used the style of intensive exercise in their results dimensionality.Keywords: Methods, Distributed and intensive exercise, Mental logic and futsal.

Abstract

Objective: The study focused to analyse antibacterial evaluation of gradient extracts of Adiantum latifolium, a healing pteridophyte towards bacteria involved in cutaneous infections. Methods: Whole plant of Adiantum latifolium was analyzed for its antibacterial nature and phytochemical components in different solvents extracts of accelerating polarity. Disc diffusion method was used to analyse antibacterial activity. Preliminary phytochemical evaluation was done using various spraying reagents. Minimum inhibitory concentration as well as minimum bactericidal concentration was determined towards Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Results: The plant primarily exhibited antibacterial activity in ethanol extract. Maximum intensity of activity was noticed towards Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a resistant strain towards amoxicillin and chloramphenicol. Petroleum ether and water extracts could not show any antibacterial activity towards the tested organisms. Flavonoids and phenols were found in different extracts. Occurrence of flavonoid and phenol in ethanol extract of the plant can be an explanation for its antibacterial activity. Ethanol extract of the plant showed minimum inhibitory concentration as 18.75mg/ml and minimum bactericidal concentration as 37.5mg/ml towards Pseudomonas aerogenosa. Conclusion: Adiantum latifolium showed antibacterial activity in ethanol extract especially towards   Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Adiantum latifolium; Antibacterial activity; Phytochemical; Pteridophytes.

Abstract

Introduction: Similar to the world, Indonesia also undergoes a population explosion. One solution to overcome this population problem is to conduct contraception. Although woman contraception is widely used, still the role of man is needed. There are a few methods in male contraception, but all is still not proven optimally. Therefore, it is intend to understand more about the cellular mechanism of male contraception.  Methods: A computerized finding process of database in Pub med which related to the key words was performed for obtaining data. After that, the most update and relevant articles were reviewed and selected. Results: The results are mainly revealing the regimens that are administered in male hormonal contraception and substances that are used in immunocontraception. Furthermore, this reviews also reveales the cellular mechanism of both types of male contraception. In male hormonal contraception, the mechanism was depends on negative feedback in hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis by regimens to impair the spermatogenesis into severe-oligozoospermia or azoospermia. In addition, immunocontraception was based on ‘vaccination’ concept in which antibodies recognize proteins in the spermatozoa as "non-self” thus spermatozoa may be destroyed. Conclusion: It is necessary to understand the cellular mechanism, thus the development of male contraception increases.  Further researches should be conducted to confirm the cellular mechanisms.Keywords: Male hormonal contraception, Testosterone, Progestin, Negative feedback, Immunocontraception, Sperm antigen.
Purification, Beneficiation and Activation of Iraqi Attapulgite Clay Mineral Nadhum Gharb Taher

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain a pure activated Attapulgite mineral to use it as adsorption surface in our search, because of its importance in removing impurities, desulfurization, decolorizing, neutralizing, and deodorizing of petroleum fuel. The large specific surface area and high cation exchange capacity of Attapulgite make it suitable in our work. However, the adsorption capacity of natural Attapulgite is limited, new activated pure Attapulgite clay was synthesized by purification and beneficiation Attapulgite to increase its ability to use in our search and other various fields, particularly in the petroleum refining. The pure activated calcined Attapulgite characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Attapulgite mineral was purified by floatation with the dispersed swelled sodium methyl acrylate granules leaving other impurities of clay mineral and sand in the bottom of the vessel. Therefore many peaks in FT-IR spectrum were disappeared comparing with the FT-IR spectrum of crud material. The disappearance of calcium carbonate peaks at (29.3556) 2 Ɵ was observed due to the purification of Attapulgite from other mineral impurities using sodium methyl acrylate, while the peaks of the Attapulgite remained clear. SEM images of pure activated Attapulgite show a high resolution with an accurate vision of needle- shaped structure.Keywords: Desulfurization; Beneficiation; Attapulgite; Adsorption; Surface.
